Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Sage is going to be Tinkerbelle in a school play and is really looking forward to having her family there to watch. At first Janet doesn't think she should go, but Carly stops by Al's with tickets for both Jack AND Janet. Carly then gets a call from Craig, which she doesn't answer, but he's waiting for her outside of Al's to tell her that they have an appointment in Chicago with a global distributor, Aristotle somebody, and it's important that they impress him. Carly's excited about the possibilities, but tells Craig that she can't make the appointment because of Sage's play. Craig promises they'll be back in time, so Carly asks Janet if she'll do Sage's hair and makeup in case Carly doesn't get back in time. Janet says she will, and Carly warns her to keep things subtle... So Carly and Craig leave for Chicago and have a successful meeting with Ari. But as they're standing outside waiting for the valet guy to appear, Ari comes running out and says he's made up his mind and wants to go into business with them, so they should come inside and they can work out the details. Against Carly's better judgement, she goes back inside, with Craig constantly telling her she'll still be back in Oakdale in time for the play. Meanwhile, Janet's trying to figure out exactly how to do Tinkerbelle makeup, and to figure out exactly what 'subtle' means. Jack's standing out on the porch peeking through the window, and watching anxiously as Janet tries to work her magic. Surprisingly, she manages to give Sage just the right look, and then is ready to help Sage with her lines. Jack's happy that things are working out.... In the city, Barbara's resting somewhere because this is just all too much for her. The others are desperate and finally Meg, at Josey's urging, gets Paul to try again to have a vision. He does, sees something about a wolf, no a dog, and rose petals.... Dusty keeps saying how stupid this is, but then he picks up a guidebook of the city and finds a statue of a wolf/dog that's in Central Park. So they all rush there, and look for rose petals. Instead, they see a couple standing waiting for somebody and the woman is holding red roses. They come up with a plan. Paul is to lead the couple away somewhere and Meg and Dusty will pretend to be the couple. Josey is just to step away and keep an eye out. So Paul does get the couple to follow him, and he grabs the flowers and throws them in a nearby trash, telling the couple they don't need them anymore... in other words, he's acting like he's the guy with the baby to sell. Dusty and Josey pick up the flowers and very soon, the carjacker arrives. He asks them if they brought the money, and they say they did, but want to see the baby. The guy says she's the sweetest little baby girl ever... he says he'll go get her, and takes what little money Dusty does give them and walks off....Meg wants Dusty to follow him, but he says that would be suspicious, and of course the guy doesn't intend to come back... he's got another guy waiting by the car, and Eliza is crying inside.... Josey sees and hears and runs up to the car and starts yelling for help. The guy knocks her out and puts her into the car. They drive off, back to where they stole the car, which is apparently where they live... they take Josey and the baby inside to pack up.... On the way inside, Josey drops something in the snow, I think a toy of Eliza's as a clue... Now that their plan is foiled, Dusty, Paul and Meg look for Josey, but when they don't see her, they forget about her, and start arguing about whose fault it is that this didn't work out. They decide to go back to the neighborhood where the car was stolen. Once there they find what Josey dropped and then they hear Eliza crying from inside the building... Carly and Craig get done with their meeting and hurry back to Oakdale, but the play is over by the time they get to the school. Jack and Janet are waiting outside for Sage, and surprisingly, Jack isn't yelling at Carly. He stays calm and he and Janet tell Carly that Sage did great and everybody loved her costume. Janet tells Carly, "you did good". And Craig says he bet that Janet and Jack videotaped the whole thing. Jack says that the school videotaped it, and that Carly can watch it as many times as she wants to.... Carly still feels horrible for missing the play, but then Sage comes outside and asks Carly, "what did you think?" Carly hugs Sage and says, "I think you're wonderful..." Sage wants to go to the farm with Janet and Jack, she's so excited and happy, and thanks Janet for doing her makeup, and says this is the best day of her life! She even gives Janet a quick kiss! Craig's taken Carly home and tells her that there will be lots of school plays. Now, she'll have a profitable business, and her kids will benefit from that! Carly admits she feels good about the business stuff, but still hated missing the play. Craig pours them some of Ari's voda, and says they'll drink to the best of everything.... Just as Paul and Dusty are ready to burst into the building to rescue Eliza, the two men come out and Paul and Dusty wrestle them to the ground, and the police are called. Meg goes inside and follows the sound of Eliza's cries to the room where Josey is... Meg grabs Eliza from Josey... a mother and child reunion. Outside, the police arrest the bad guys and then arrest Paul, for kidnapping. They're about to arrest Josey, too, but Meg says that Meg helped them find the baby, so Josey's left alone. It ends up with Paul sitting in the back seat of a police car, Dusty and Meg walking off with Eliza, and Josey alone on the sidewalk! Meg does at least ask Josey if she'll be alright, and Josey says she'll be fine... I wonder what became of Babs?

Jack actually behaved and did not attack Carly for doing business with Craig or for showing up too late to see Sage in the play. Even Dusty behaved himself and was calm, level headed and worked with Paul. Figures they used visions to speed the story along but if not they would have had to extend the black market story with Eliza missing until sorased into a teenager! It was great to see a new set for a NYC hotel room instead of a Lakeview room with different colored walls. While the discovery of Eliza was due basically to dumb luck , the search was actually well paced. Looks likes Babs slept through the whole thing! Unfortunately, the previews show Katie and Vienna taking baby craziness to a new level! Katie actually admits to Vienna that she lied to Brad about using her diaphragm and then we see Vienna pricking a hole into a condom and Henry catching her! Not sure which is worse, their obsession with having a baby or their use of deception in order to have one. Who in their right mind can sympathize with Katie and Vienna now? Next thing we know K and V will be both pregnant and alone. Not sure even Terri and Ewa can save this SL! A shame because Bratie and Henrienna have been the best couples on the show!
