Well, we went to Grand Junction today, and I just finished the show, so, here goes.  Tom and Margo get back into town after spending the previous night elsewhere.  Of course they go straight to the police station.  Margo learns about Reg's overdose, and also that it happened at Casey's birthday party. She's worried, needless to say. So she goes to the hospital to find out more, while Tom heads home.At Memorial, Margo runs into Alison. Margo thinks that Ali is still interested in Casey and starts asking her questions about what happened at Yo's. Margo being Margo, she's pretty darned obnoxious and Ali doesn't respond well.  Then Matt shows up and Margo's surprised he's "out", but glad to learn he has a part time job, and also that it seems as if he and Ali might have something going on. After Margo leaves, Ali and Matt decide to meet at the park later, on Ali's break.Casey and Jade wakes up. I was cracking up when Casey didn't seem to know who he was with, and kind of lifted up the blanket that was covering Jade, it looked as if he was looking right at her butt.  Luke and Noah walk in and are surprised to see Jade there. They tell Casey and Jade about Reg dieing. And about their suspiciouns of Elwood. Casey hates Elwood anyway, since Elwood planted the stuff on Casey previously, and Casey says he'll make sure that Elwood pays.Luke and Noah give Casey the baggy of pills that they think Elwood gave to Reg, and Casey gets on the phone to Elwood, well, he left a voice mail, asking Elwood to meet him at the park. Next, Luke and Noah go to the police station and tell Margo about seeing Elwood and Reg in the alley a few minutes before Reg collapsed, and say that they think something was going on.... Margo says she'll look into it. So she gets the wheels in motion to get Elwood into the station. Now, Casey's waiting in the park for Elwood and Matt shows up. Casey tells Matt why he's there and Matt asks if he should stay, but Casey says thanks, but no thanks. Pretty soon Elwood shows up and Casey tries to get him to sell him some drugs, but Elwood isn't biting and turns to leave. Quickly, Casey slips the baggy of pills into Elwood's backpack. He tells Matt, who walked back over to him, what he'd done. Just then Ali walks up and Casey apologizes for being wasted last night, but Ali says not to worry about it, after all, he went home and had sex with Jade, so....  Casey gets mad and tells Matt, "You can have her!" Margo gets Elwood into the station and asks if she can go through his backpack. He says sure, and she does, and there are no drugs there.  Noah and Luke are there, and are confused, as they know about Casey planting the drugs. Meanwhile, Tom's gone home and found beer bottles and a pair of red lacy panties. (So, Jade got dressed and didn't put her underwear back on? Ewwwww....  ) Tom's funny, picking up the panties with a pen and then calling Margo and saying that "we've got trouble at home." Margo and Tom talk about what went on at home, and Tom says well, it WAS his 21st birthday, but Margo says yeah, but he was hanging around with kids who do drugs, and that can't happen. Tom goes to find Casey and does, he's hanging with Jade. Tom tells Casey, privately, that Jade's worse than Ali and Emily put together. Casey isn't taking this well, and gives Tom the brushoff. He tells Jade that they must be doing something right if they've got so many people mad at them.  (I don't know what happened for about 3 minutes with this storyline, as the tv went blank.  ) In the other storyline of the day, Craig tells Carly that Ari backed out of the deal, but Craig has another person interested and has set up with a guy in NYC. This guy has something to do with a circus. Carly says she absolutely can't go to NYC on such short notice, but Craig promises they'll be back before Sage gets home from school, so they head off on Craig's private jet. The meeting goes well, and it seems promising. Craig takes Carly to Brooklyn for another vodka tasting and some snacks. Of course Carly gets lit, although not as bad as the last time, and the two almost kiss. They do get back to Oakdale in time, and Craig's making hot chocolate in Carly's kitchen, waiting for Sage to come home. He gets a call from the guy in NYC and gives Carly the news that the guy wants to back them, and a check is in the mail. Then he gives Carly a big old kiss!  She asks what that was and he says "a business kiss".  Carly tells him not to do it again... I wish I knew what was shown when my tv was blank. Anybody????

I can't quite remember, but I think Matt sets up a picnic for Ali at the hospital because she had been talking about springtime and picnics in the park. So he set up a table in the staff room complete with red checkered tablecloth and hotdogs with her favourite stuff on them. I think that was it. He was very sweet and she seemed really happy. Your TV went blank, but my mind's gone blank.....!! The Jade/Casey stuff is so predictable - she's gonna fall for him for real, then he's gonna find out Emily was behind it, and she'll try and tell him no, no, no, she really cares about him, blah, blah, blah. That's what I see happening there. I'm really glad Matt is back, but I hope they give him a storyline with some substance, not just hanging around doing nothing. He proved last time he was one the show that's he's really talented, so I hope they use that. |

Thanks, Ali! I do remember Ali making that picnic comment, so that makes sense. And I, too, hope they give Matt his own good storyline, he can definitely carry it.

I thought they were trying to make Matt look suspicious today. They made a point of reminding us both Matt and Elwood recently got out of Statesville (were they friends?) Then he was there with Casey and Elwood at the park. Did he call Elwood and tell him to take the drugs out of his bag? I hope he's a good guy but they left it open that he could be a real creep too today. |

I honestly don't know about Matt. Elwood could have found the drugs himself but they did set it up to also look like Matt tipped him off. If that's what happened, it's possible he also could have done it to try to keep Casey from getting in trouble. |

I thought Elwood seemed tweaked like he was on something but maybe that was Alex's take on the character. If Elwood were a druggie as well as dealing it would make sense. Is Matt dealing or involved in another scheme? Either way its for a big payout. It would be a shame if Matt is behind Reg's overdose since he's coming across like a good guy and I like him with Alli. But hey, its typical for tptb to get us into a couple and then destroy them! Sooooo if Matt's up to no good AGAIN who's he working for this time? Damian? |

You guys are good! I never thought about Matt possibly calling Elwood and letting him know that Casey planted the drugs, but that sure is a possibility. One I wouldn't want, but it would be interesting. I HAVE thought that Matt is totally coming across as just about too good to be true.

I like both ELWOOD and MATT so you know tptb will mess with the characters I like. The big turnoff for me was how CASEY was over his birthday and then the set up. What a dweeb! The ONE GUY out of the THREE recent convicts...CASEY...seems like the guy on the leash with the writers dragging every which way.... |

With all these characaters recently out of prison, could tptb be after the prisoner/ex-con demographic? After all they have a lot of time on their hands, why not watch the soaps?
