School's out in Oakdale and Carly's headed to school for a parent/teacher conference about Sage. As she's going out the door, Craig and Johnny arrive. Craig's got a bunch of sample sizes of flavored vodkas. They don't have any labels, so as not to influence the taster. Carly tells him to put them in the fridge and they all leave. At the diner, Jack's also getting ready for the conference, and telling Janet that he bets Carly will be late. Janet gives him the pep talk about cutting Carly some slack, etc, and says he should count to 10 if things aren't going the way he wants them to... So Jack and Carly make it to the conference, and Carly's just a teeny bit late, and Jack is laid back about it. The teacher is late, but no biggie, and we learn that apparently Sage hasn't been turning in her homework. Both Carly and Jack own up to some of the blame, and all is sunshine... They head over to Carly's....Craig and Johnny go to the diner and Johnny has a chocolate milk shake and Craig pulls Janet aside and tells her that he hopes she's on the same page with him as far as Jack and Carly go. He tells Janet that the only thing that could mess up his business project with Carly, and Janet's marriage to Jack is Jack... he's got to believe that Carly's moved on... Janet informs Craig that she's already had "that" talk with Jack, so all is well. Janet disovers that Henry didn't order milk, and they're out, so Craig leaves Johnny at the diner with Janet and goes to get milk... Parker and Liberty walk into Carly's, looking for some soda or something. Wait for it... they end up guzzling down several cans of the flavored vodkas and getting wasted. They head over to the diner, and are sitting on a bench on the Mall, finishing their last cans of the great drink... ![]() Craig's coming back with the milk and spots Parker and Liberty, realizes they're acting strange and notices an empty can on the ground. He asks them where they got the can, and they tell him they had a bunch of them, out of Carly's fridge. Uh oh! Craig grabs them and pulls them into the diner, where even Johnny can tell something's up... ![]() Craig tells Janet what happened and she but Craig tells her that he realizes he shouldn't have left the vodkas in the fridge, but after all, hasn't Janet ever made any mistakes raising Liberty? Craig's taken Parker home and put him in bed while he and Johnny watch tv. Of course, Carly and Craig come in and can't figure out what Craig's doing there... Craig says that Parker saw them in town and invited them to come over, but then was so tired from pulling an all nighter studying that he went to bed.. Even though Carly and Jack are a little bit suspicious, they chalk it up to Craig being a goofball, and Jack heads over to the diner. As soon as Jack leaves, Carly worms it out of Craig about the kids drinking the vodkas. She and when she learns that Liberty's at the diner, she rushes out to try and keep Janet from telling Jack what happened... ![]() Luckily for Carly, Janet's called Henry and had him come down to the diner so she can take Liberty home, and before Janet can tell Jack about the "incident" Carly comes in and gets Jack to go look in his car to look for some papers that Sage "supposedly" lost. Carly pleads with Janet not to tell Jack about the vodka drinking... Janet comes through for Carly and keeps her mouth shut. ![]() While all the vodka drama is happening, Ms Pink is lying to Brad and sneaking off to an appointment with her fertility specialist. Apparently she's been taking injections and having some nausea. The doc tells her that's normal and may continue. He tells her he really wishes she'd tell her husband what she's doing. ![]() Meanwhile, Brad's been trying to find Katie. She told him she'd be at the studio shooting promos, but when he gets there, nobody's there but Maggie from wardrobe. Then Brad goes to talk to Henry. Henry's happy cause Vienna's gotten HER period, so he's going home to comfort her... Brad gets Katie on the phone and she digs her hole deeper with lies as a shovel. She's still at the hospital but tells Brad that she's at the studio. Brad says he'll be right there, and Katie makes a mad dash over there... Brad tries getting the truth out of her and she keeps lying, then has bad cramps and almost collapses and they rush over to the hospital. The doctor reassures Katie that everything is fine.... she and Brad go home and she gets him to believe that she was working on a surprise for him, which is why she was acting so devious... Brad's so happy that she's okay that he doesn't question her anymore. ![]() Back at Carly's, Parker comes downstairs and is really feeling sorry for what he did and also feeling really hungover... Carly says she won't tell Jack, but it had better never happen again. Parker goes back to bed, and Carly tells Craig that it might not be a good idea to continue this business venture. Not only because of what happened today, but also, she tells him that her father was an alcoholic and she was afraid of him when he was drunk, and this is bringing up bad memories for her. Craig is sympathetic, but eventually Carly decides that Midnight Sun is still a go. Craig takes the rest of the flavored vodkas and leaves.... I wonder if Katie's fertility doc is related to the doc that helped the Octomom get pregnant with 8 babies! I mean, wouldn't an ethical doc refuse to do the treatments if the father wasn't in on the deal?

Looks like they are laying the groundwork for Carly to become an alchoholic so they can use this for when she has the baby. |

I have no idea if legally a spouse has to be advised before fertility treatments are started but it seems certainly ethically and morally it would be the right thing to do. I also found it odd that the doctor seems totally unaware of her recent medical history and that Bob had told her she shouldn't do fertility treatments at this point. If he was aware, you would think it would have somehow been discussed that his opinion was different. I think perhaps this doctor got his degree the same place the one that diagnosed Carly's brain lesion went. I did like that Brad at least had a few braincells and wasn't totally foiled by Katie even though she tricked him in the end. It was a good Carjack day with tons of foreshadowing. I was surprised they so quickly had Craig suggesting he and Janet team up to help Craig with his business and Janet with her marriage. I think that is definitely coming. Janet thought she didn't need him because she had convinced Jack to back off. She sure wasn't happy though when she saw that meant Jack and Carly will be working together to help Sage and they are getting along just fine! The setup for Parker and Liberty to be drinking was pretty I wondered if they were going to have Parker start drinking but after seeing that I doubt it since he didn't intentionally take alcohol. However I have never seen alcohol in tin cans that look like energy drinks lol. And those seemed to be mighty generous samples.

It was clever of tptb having Carly wear her coat throughout the entire show to cover up Maura's belly! They devised it so she would never have to take it off! This Katie going from one lie to another was such torture. Then Brad still believed her in the end. Aww shucks he ruined her big surprise! While this doctor of Katies seems such a quack I wouldn't put it past Katie to have lied about her medical history in order to get what she wanted.
