So much of today's show was ![]() Derek overhears Casey giving Jade the brushoff, and tells her that she shouldn't let guys treat her like that. Jade has no intention of listening to anything Derek has to say. ![]() Casey's still eating the sour grapes about Ali and Matt, so he tells Noah and Luke that he thinks Matt is the "M" aka the drug supplier. So the three of them decide to have Jade approach Matt and ask him to score her some drugs... Jade agrees, she's still wanting to hook up with Casey again and figures this might help. Holden's back in town after a horse buying trip and Lily brings him up to date about the trouble Luke's in. Holden wonders what they can do to help, and somehow they get on the subject of Damien. Lily says she sees little of Damien in Luke, Holden's the one that Luke looks up to and trusts. Lily and Holden sit down with Luke and Noah and the boys tell them what's been going on. Holden and Lily insist that this is NOT Luke's job, they've got to tell the police everything, so they go downtown and sit down with Margo. They tell her about finding the drugs that fell out of Reg's wallet and about how Casey put them in Elwood's backpack, etc. Margo asks them where the drugs are now... if they don't have them and Elwood doesn't have them.... where are they? Margo comes to the conclusion that Casey never really put the drugs in Elwood's backpack and has them and might be selling them... ![]() Even though Margo tells Luke that he's looking at obstruction of justice charges, not to mention a bunch of others... she warns them that they have to walk away from this...NOW! They're to contact her if they discover anything else. Luke hates to agree to that, but Noah, with a look, and a hand on his shoulder, convinces Luke this is the thing to do... Jade heads over to Yo's and starts working on Matt, and Casey goes to Memorial and "warns" Ali that Matt might be the person who gave Reg the drugs that killed him. Ali figures out from all that Casey says that he's setting Matt up somehow, and she hurries over to Yo's in time to screw up Jade's little scam. Derek walks in, too, and grabs Jade and drags her outside. He's once again trying to be dad to her, and also to talk sense to her, but again, Jade doesn't want to listen.Margo goes home and sees Casey's backpack on the couch. She goes through it and finds the baggy full of pills and groans. Just then Casey walks in and Margo shows him the drugs and tells him where they were. He insists he doesn't know anything about them, and just then Ali shows up at the door. Casey tells Margo that he bets Alison knows where the drugs came from. Ali looks confused....Casey and Ali start arguing back and forth and Margo's listening, and can't believe her ears... Casey accuses Ali of sneaking over there and putting the drugs in Casey's backpack, and Ali can't believe he'd believe that of her... ![]() Finally Margo gets fed up listening to Ali and Casey sniping at each other and tells them to just shut up and tell them what's going on.... ![]() Luke, Noah, Lily and Holden are back home and Luke's all over again! Holden's had it and reminds Luke that he and Lily have always supported him, even after he got expelled... he tells Luke that he's got to move on with his life, get a job, or find a school that'll take him, but no more cops and robbers! Luke is in snotty mode big time and snaps, "Yes, sir!" ![]() Later, Holden's feeling inadequate as a father. He feels he was too easy on Luke for a long time, trying to be Luke's friend, feeling pressure because he's not Luke's biological dad... Lily reassuers him... ![]() ![]() Matt finds Jade and tells her to tell "her boyfriend" that payback's a 2 way street. Casey tried to set Matt up, so watch your back, Casey... He also tells Jade that when a guy sends a girl to do his dirty work, she shouldn't be expecting a ring anytime soon. ![]() Luke's whining to Noah about how everybody's against him, even his parents. Noah says that Luke's parents care about him, and so does he. Noah says he only wants to help Luke. But Luke says that why is it that everytime Noah tries to help him, things just get worse... ![]() Now Luke starts talking about how it felt when he was drinking and compares to it to how maybe that's how Reg felt when he started taking drugs.... he just can't walk away from this.... ![]() |

I loved today's show. All characters I like. Any escape from Paul and Meg is a good day of ATWT for me. |

I watched live, today, and I enjoyed most of it. I LOVE parts of LUKE concern of REG's despair that may have supposedly pushed him to drugs....just like LUKE's issues with drinking. BUT as many legal issues that have put LUKE in trouble all ready...there is a fine line that he just does not need to cross over. NOAH has been too much of a saint. I wish that this DUO could work better together...trust each other MORE...and if there is a THEM versus OTHERS issue...then I would love to see NOAH and LUKE joined at the hip more. MATT must be bad...but I still wish he would be a good long addition to the cast. ALI and CASEY....should they be together...or shouldn't they? With CASEY's and EMILY's past....then I would rather CASEY and ALI would not be together. JADE sure has started to act MORE like her former self....and maybe even a little bit snarkier. I almost did not recognize DERRICK because it has just been too long since he has been around. LILY and HOLDEN were pretty good...and I assume there might be some foreshadowing here and expect DAMIEN to return. HOLDEN definitely will not want him around. LILY?? LUKE?? I think I would rather have LUKE or LILY contact DAMIEN if he does return to the show. Tomorrow looks like a TRAGIC DAY. |

Well when there's a whole lotta crazy goin' on its good to know we have Holden to tell it like it is and set Luke on the right path. Of course it didn't work, but it was great to see that! It was nice to FINALLY see Derek but he's not getting anywhere with Jade either! Seems like Margo has accepted Casey as a criminal and I bet she sees Casey as a bad influence on Luke. It was funny when Holden asked Lily if Casey and Jade were together and she said "don't ask." I actually think Lily sees Casey as a bad influence on Jade. I wish both Casey and Luke could get back on track 'cause with too much time on their hands they just get in trouble. Matt sure looks like the bad guy but the only thing this episode revealed was that Matt took the pills from Elwood that were in his backpack, left him a note "got you covered M" and then put the pills into Casey's as "payback". Sooooooo was Matt covering for "Elwood the dealer" or was he just covering for him at the time because Casey was setting Elwood up? Not sure if Matt is the dealer but he probably knows something.

I wondered the same thing about Matt, Rich. I really like the actor and would hate if they brought him back only to destroy him with this story. At first it seemed too obvious for him to really be involved, but it was clear yesterday he was getting payback for something. I hate the way they are writing both Casey and Luke right now. I like both characters/actors, but the writing for them stinks. I'm having a very hard time getting interested in this story. I like the characters with the exception of Jade but the story is just so bad it's hard to watch, so I didn't enjoy the show very much. I did however enjoy Holden for a change when he let Luke have it. It was good to see some passion from her for a change. |

Rich, I hope you're right about Matt - and I'd like him to stay, too. Holden was on target with Luke, and his parental insecurities after wards were believable, too. I've always loved Holden and Luke's relationship. It's not perfect, but it's been one of the more realistically written IMO. Luke is sooooooooo frustrating to watch I think it wouldn't be so bad if there was more insight into WHY he's behaving this way. It's not like he and Reg were tight friends, so I'm missing a big chunk of the reasoning that Luke rolls over in his brain.Jade is still a skank. Margo should disentangle herself professionally from this case immediately. Casey... oh my. He's like the little boy who just can't grow up.

I think we're gonna get as much insight into Luke as we have had into Paul. Which means not too much! I think if we go by what Luke says, he sees himself in Reg so when he's fighting for Reg he's fighting for himself. He sees in Reg his own issues eg. alcoholic, being gay plus he has a LOT of time on his hands, being expelled from OU. Noah had the right idea about using the foundation to help youth who are addicted to drugs and alcohol or just to help them stay above the influence. If we exclude Damian's genetic influence which Holden thinks may be the cause , I think Luke has a personality type which has come to the forefront since he came out. He is an activist, always needing a cause to fight over. Doesn't matter if it is gay related. He can't just relax like Noah and simply live his life as a gay man. What would really help this storyline would be more insight into Reg Addington but instead we're getting bad boys Luke and Casey and a lot of needles in haystacks!
