Alison's being released from the hospital and Emily comes to help out. Ali tells Emily that she and Casey are going to give their relationship, or friendship, or whatever, another chance and see what happens. Emily thinks Ali's making a mistake, but finally comes around to Ali's point of view, or so she says.  As soon as she can, Emily calls Jade and orders her to come to her office.  Casey goes to Yo's to apologize again to Matt. Matt lies and tells Casey that Ali doesn't want anything more to do with him. Of course, Casey's upset and is just leaving when Ali stops in to see Matt. Casey's short with her, and Ali wonders what's wrong. Matt says that it's just Casey being Casey, and asks Ali if she'll give them a chance, and wants them to get out of town for a couple of days. Ali says ok, and Matt leaves to make arrangements and Ali heads.... over to Em's office.  Carly's found out that Lucy's the one who told Craig where Parker and Liberty were, and she goes over to the hospital to thank Lucy and says that she owes her. Lucy says that she already asked Carly for her help with Craig, and Carly turned her down... Later, Carly runs into Craig in the old town mall, and agrees to have lunch with him. Then she calls Lucy and says she changed her mind, and that she'll be at The Lakeview with Craig in a minute, and Lucy should join them.At Emily's office, Alison overhears Emily "hiring" Jade to keep trying to keep Casey and Ali apart, no matter what it takes... Jade leaves, and Ali confronts Emily. Ali's furious and tells Emily she's a sicko.... then Ali rushes over to Casey's, and walks in on Jade making her move on Casey.  Ali grabs Jade and pulls her off of Casey and slaps her. She tells Casey what Emily's doing and calls Jade a bunch of names and tells her to get out. She does.  Then Casey and Ali talk and straighten things out, Casey knows that Matt lied to him, so does Ali, and they agree to start their "do over". Ali makes Casey promise that next time a girl throws herself on him, he doesn't make it so darned easy.  So Ali goes to tell Matt their trip is not happening, and Casey says she should meet him in the park when she's done. Then he goes over to Emily's office.  There, he tells Emily that he wants her "blessing". After all, she loves her sister and she used to love him, can't she back off and hope that Ali and Casey can be happy? Emily says alright. Lucy shows up at the Lakeview and sits down with Carly and Craig and Carly tries to play family counselor, but doesn't seem to be getting anywhere. Finally, Lucy leaves, frustrated, and then Carly tells Craig that either he mends fences with Lucy, or Carly's pulling out of Midnight Sun! So Craig goes to the hospital and tells Lucy that he loves her and does want them to work on their relationship, but she's got to promise to cut Dusty out of her life... Lucy thinks about it and then agrees. Then Craig goes to Carly's and tells her she's won, but she still owes her lunch. Over lunch Craig admits that he made Lucy chose between him and Dusty. Carly can't believe it!  Emily goes to Jade and tells her that she wants her to stop getting between Casey and Ali. Emily's theory is that if everybody leaves them alone and stops trying to keep them apart, they'll be bored. She also tells Jade that if she doesn't change her attitude, she'll end up like Emily. Jade says that Emily doesn't seem to be doing too badly, but Emily says she works hard to make it look that way. Ali tells Matt that she's got to find out what, if anything, there is between her and Casey, and says their trip is not happening. Then she meets Casey in the park, kisses him and runs off with his skateboard. Parker's been busy today, too. He took his trust papers out of the desk at home, read/studied them and then found a lawyer on Craig's list. The lawyer meets with Parker and Liberty and says that he can probably do something, but it could get ugly. Parker says to go ahead and the lawyer leaves. Liberty tries to tell Parker that he's making a big mistake, but you know Parker... Lucy makes another phone call and tells somebody, "My dad's gone soft in his old age, I'm his beloved daughter again!"

Thanks again for the recap.......does my fast forward button good when I get home. Had to laugh when you said that Parker got a laywer from Craig's list......I thought you ment "craigslist.com". As for who Lucy is talking to on the phone..........speculation on another board is that it might be Rosanna. halways :

I think he was talking about craigslist.com although I think their version is gregslist.com lol. I would love for it to be Rosanna that Lucy is talking to but I have a hard time with the timing since Rosanna doesn't return until May 20. JP paces stories so fast, that I have a hard time believing this wouldn't be disclosed until then. It woudl be a great twist however. And I absolutely love that Lucy is playing Craig or so it seems  I may wind up liking her yet! Poor Carly  She's going to be destroyed when Parker starts airing dirty laundry to have her removed as trustee Maura is absolutely glowing these days and I like that they aren't really trying that hard to conceal her pregnancy. We all know she's pregnant and it's really less distracting this way. I think Jade is turning into an Emily in training What the heck was up with Emily's hair today? She is so pretty but that hairstyle has to go! I wonder if this is the end of Matt? I sense he'll be leaving town. |

I did mean craigslist.com but didn't catch that Parker said "greg's list". Thanks Judy. I thought it might be Rosanna on the phone, too, can't imagine who else it would be...

I thought of Sierra as a possibility since Mary Beth Evans is no longer on DOOL. Haven't heard if MBE has returned to NYC. Its too bad Parker feels he has no one else to turn to except a lawyer. If he does this he'll have to be prepared to be on his own because I can't see Carly forgiving and forgetting. If only Hal were still with us..... The previews looked good. Laurence Lau returns! And Henry accidentally knocks the vial of sperm onto the floor!

If only we could FF through the storylines to next year...or HEXT HeadWriter/Producer. I do enjoy the small clips of the cast each day. If the ACTORS that we have continue to grace the screen...then I can deal with some of the audacity of the storylines. I do wonder how CARLY's new exit storyline will be weave into the fabric of OAKDALE...but if CARLY is depending on alcohol too much...then I do give some KUDOS to the writers for some of this twist. Dealing with life, showing some depression, replacing LOVE with WORK...it will be interesting the next few twists and turns. Sometimes I have wondered if PARKER's "slush fund" has matured in today's economy. I have wondered if having PARKER's savings "vanish" would or would not be good. The way this soap throws away MILLIONS MADE at least now tptb could use failed investments as a REAL REASON that we could believe. So whom is LUCY calling?? RO, SIERRA, the ever shadow figure LUCINDA ??? I think I like the SIERRA TWIST. |
