Today I saw Victor visiting Adam in prison and apparently Adam is losing his sight, and the mustasche was actually in tears, and later got a call saying Adam was being taken to the infirmary because he was severely beaten.  What's out there in the way of spoilers on this?

Poor Adam! As Lt. Baker said about Rick on B&B: "That boy is having a really bad week." But it looks like better days are ahead. I saw this spoiler at Soap Opera Central: Victor reaches out to his stricken son Adam, arranging his release from the Genoa City Jail -- into Victor's custody. BTW, what kind of criminal justice system do they have in Genoa City that Victor, a private citizen, can just arrange for his son to be released from prison to his custody? Didn't Adam plead guilty? -Kara |

Well, I'm glad that Adam will be released to Victor's custody at least, and I sure hope they can pull some kind of medical miracle out of whichever orifice they pull them out of, there in Genoa City,  and give him his eyesight back! Honestly, if I have to put up with some kind of storyline now about how Adam adapts to blindness, which, given Y&R's track record, will turn into a long running PSA, I am going to  !As for what kind of justice system do they have....  There, that felt good...

Just a couple of weeks or so ago, I remember Adam speaking to someone and saying that it was time to put the plan into action and I'm wondering if he has somehow found a way to fake all of this so that he could get released from prison. I remember he told Heather that he needed to see a dermatologist and the blindness symptoms started appearing shortly after that visit. Maybe they have found some drug or something that can cause temporary blindness that they are using to set this plot up. Knowing these writers I wouldn't be surprised if this is what is happening. |

Whoa, I had forgotten that scene, but I bet you're right! He did say something to another prisoner (it might have been Frank the forger) that he needed to get some stuff. And right about the same time he told Heather he needed to see the dermatologist. Yes, the more I think about it, I'm sure you're right! He's faking it. -Kara |

Oh, thanks for that info, DS!  He is DEFINITELY faking it then. And I'm glad, that will be so much a better storyline than if he was really going blind.
