Parker And Liberty Spoilers Parker and Liberty want to get married, but the judge says no. Then Carly comes up and Parker proceeds to trash Carly, listing all her various sins. Then the judge says they can get married and if Carly tries to stop it, he'll arrest her. She has no choice but to stand and watch. Jacket arrives just as they are pronounced man and wife. That just really stretches the limits of believability, even for me :). I mean, what sensible judge would allow two minors to marry? I can maybe see denying Carly access to the funds, but this isn't a custody hearing, is it? Is this saying Parker is emancipated? How would this be granted to a minor with no money? His trust fund isn't due until he is 21. The judge must be giving Parker access to the funds and cancelleling Carly's trustee status, which is the only logical (though far out) explanation. |

No this doesn't give Parker access to his funds. I think what gave Parker the idea was he heard Tom on Friday say a judge would sometimes emancipate a kid if they wanted to get married. So Parker is doing an end run and getting married and then assuming he will be able to get emancipated then. In one of the articles on this where they talked to Mick, he says when they get home, Jack kicks them out of the house but Craig gets them a room in the Lakeview. Carly tells Janet but Janet doesn't tell Jack. Reality starts setting in though for Parker and Liberty and they realize how broke they are and as a result don't even have sex on their wedding night. There will be some regrets about doing this but Mick doesn't say who will be having the regrets. |

I would imagine they all start regretting it sooner rather than later. If Craig would stay out of it, it sounds like they may figure out what morons they are and have it annulled! |

Since this show (imho) has tanked....THE ONLY WAY I will stay interested in this soap opera is allow selected spoilers to creep into my brain. Allowing PARKER and LIBERTY to marry....WITH CARLY's past transgressions being listed in front of a the judge that will supposedly marry the kids....THEN to MAKE CARLY's LIFE worse.....JACK arrives and SEES the marriage of his son while his ex-wife watches on. WHAT A SET UP this could be for CARLY CRACKING a bit or pushing her over the edge. Of course this is not the BEST STORYLINE but the potential for some crazy performances. For the crap we have been given lately....I guess is just some hopeful potential light in this JP tunnel that used to be ATWT. |
