Paul's called Emily and told her to get over to Fairwinds. When she gets there, Paul's holding a huge knife, and of course Emily thinks he's going to go after her with it. :shutup After all, they do have a history of violence. :lol But Paul says he wants HER to cut HIM, he's not exactly sure what he'll do then, Emily suggests maybe he can say Dusty did it, :devil but ... Anyway, Emily refuses to cut him, and leaves, so Paul has to do the deed himself. :smack

Casey's busy mopping floors at Memorial and having a little fun kidding around with Ali. Then, his parents show up and want to talk, and apologize for not believing him throughout the whole Elwood/Mark thing. Apparently Casey hasn't been speaking to them. :rolleyes Of course, that goes badly.... they ask Casey if he'll come to Al's and talk a little. :hmm Margo and Tom go to the diner and don't expect Casey to show, but, he's talked to Alison, and she's convinced him to give it a try. Naturally, though, Margo does her usual foot in mouth routine, and Casey does his usual bratty, bullheaded thing, and nothing gets accomplished. Gee, all Margo does is ask Casey about his plans for his future. :waiting

Meg's on a break from her shift and she and Dusty are having coffee and doing a little PDA at Java. They plan on having dinner that night, the two of them and Eliza. Dusty walks back to Memorial with Meg, and they run into Lucy, who rushes off without speaking to them. Meg tells Dusty she doesn't understand why Lucy is behaving like this, and Dusty sticks up for Lucy... Lucy's listening the entire time... Lucy, though, doesn't seem to appreciate it... :hmm Later, Meg tries to talk to Lucy, who isn't having any of it.

Paul wraps a towel around his cut hand and tracks down Meg at Memorial. He says some guy attacked him, but his story is :lame and Meg not only doesn't fall for it, she can tell that the cut is self-inflicted, and that it isn't going to get her back. Paul yells that he doesn't want her back, but if Dusty comes near Eliza, it will be Dusty's blood on the floor next time... :eek Meg tells him to get himself under control, and that if child welfare knew about this, it could very well be the end of any visits with Eliza for him....

Dusty and Lucy see each other in the lobby of the Lakeview. They go upstairs to Dusty's room to talk. Even though Lucy has blown off Meg, earlier, at the hospital, Lucy tells Dusty that she'll try to mend fences with Craig, and not to be angry with Dusty. As they're heading upstairs, Emily sees them, and ends up following Lucy down to the docks. She overhears Lucy talking to her contact about Craig's shipment. :huh Later, Emily goes to Fairwinds and tells Paul what she saw and heard. Paul says they're going to ask Lucy what's going on. :hmm

Casey storms home and is throwing some clothes in a duffle bag. He can't live there, by god.. :rolleyes Tom comes home and tries to calm Casey down. Tom reminds him that he doesn't really have anywhere to go. :lol

At the diner, Ali asks Margo how things went with Casey, and a tearful Margo says not well. Ali's sorry, and Margo asks her if she'll try talking to Casey again. Casey seems to listen to Ali. :hmm So Ali says okay, and heads over to the Hughes'.

She walks in and asks Casey what he thinks he's doing. Tom leaves them alone and Ali talks Casey into staying at home, and tells him that Margo was in tears at Al's. So Casey goes to Al's and he and Margo make up. Tom joins them, and they arrange to have dinner. Later, Casey finds Ali and tells her that she's invited, too, to the Hughes insane asylum. :shutup

At the dinner table, things seem to be going better for the Hughes family. :2thumbs Casey says he's been lost, but he's going to change, and gives a lot of the credit for that to Ali. They all toast new beginnings. :clap

After dinner, Margo actually gives Ali a hug. :eek Casey walks Ali out, and Tom tells Margo he can't believe she's said something nice about somebody named Stewart. :lol :lol :lol Margo and Tom are in a good mood, and Tom tells Margo that he thinks the dishes can wait, and they really need a "nap". :lol :lol :lol

Casey's telling Ali that now that his parents trust her, she'd better look out, they'll probably try to enlist her in the "get Casey back to school" campaign. :shutup He goes to kiss her, but she laughingly pushes him away and says, "not until you're in school..." :shutup

Paul tells Emily he's going to go talk to Lucy and act like he knows everything about what she's up to, and hopefully she'll spill her guts. Then he gives Em a little kiss and thanks her for helping him do this. :rolleyes

Paul BS's his way into Lucy's room, and convinces her that he knows what she's up to. And that it's illegal. Either she does what he tells her to, or he tells Craig what Lucy's doing. Lucy asks Paul what he wants, and he says he wants her to get Dusty back. :eek She's got 24 hours to tell Paul she'll do it, or Paul will tell Craig that his daughter's stabbing him in the back. :hmm

Meg tells Dusty about Paul cutting himself, and says that she thinks Paul is dangerous... to Dusty. Dusty isn't worried, but Meg's worried enough for both of them.

There were some pretty good lines today, between Paul and Emily talking about their past, and really, between Paul and Emily talking about anything... :lol :lol :lol

Really, I kind of have to :rolleyes the way Margo uses Ali when she nees her, but otherwise, she's just one of those trashy Stewarts. :cuss

I liked the way Alli demonstrated to Casey how quick he's been to make assumptions by getting hot headed with him Casey style. That really helped bring him to his senses. ITs great that she's not falling for his b.s. anymore. :clap I guess it helps that Matt is out of the picture. Guess no more Eric William Morris. Too bad cause he 's a good actor.

While Paul and Emily were funny at times it did not make up for Paul's stupidity IMO. I am so tired of his lunacy and obsession with Meg. I wish his interest in Lucy could have helped him to forget about Meg and Dusty. Instead he uses Lucy to help to break them up! Paul needs to be locked up but tptb won't do us the favor. Better Emily investigates Lucy on her own for the Intruder instead of enabling Paul! :smack When Paul had visions he helped to propel stories forward. Now he's just keeping things circling, going nowhere slow. :sleeping
