Damian's still in Luke's hospital room talking to him, and apologizing for the way he acted when Luke came out, and saying he wants to make it up to Luke and have a good relationship with him. Luke is of course bitter and skeptical, and makes sure to tell Damian that he's got a boyfriend, a serious boyfriend, Noah. Luke eventually asks Damian to leave, in fact, he yells it, and that's just when Holden, Lily and Noah arrive. Of course, they're shocked to see Damian, and Lily immediately realizes that Damian was at the accident scene, and she thanks him for "saving Luke's life". Damian explains that the reason he just left Luke at the hospital with that note was because he didn't want to upset anybody... Holden is very angry that Damian's back, and also seems to feel the usual threat to his fatherhood from Damian. Eventually, after some arguing, Lily and Holden take Luke home and Damian leaves. Noah goes to Java to close up. But as Noah's cleaning up at Java, Damian walks in. Noah's wondering what's going to happen now, but Damian is polite, even when Noah calls him on saying that he's glad Luke and Noah are "friends". Noah tells Damian, "we're more than friends, and I think you know that." ![]() Then Damian gives Noah Luke's watch, to return to Luke. Apparently the nurse in the ER gave it to Damian when he brought Luke in... If Damian stuck around the ER that long, why did he have to leave a note with Lily's phone number on it? Why not just tell the nurse who to contact and who Luke was?Parker gets called down to the police station by the DA's office. He plans on asking Craig if he can get that same lawyer for him, the one who got Parker out on bail. Liberty says she's got an idea, too, about somebody who can help. Downstairs, Carly's still talking to Craig and drinking wine when they see Parker. Parker doesn't want anything to do with Carly, but asks Craig for help. Craig says he isn't calling a lawyer, he'll go to the station with Parker and handle it himself. ![]() Meanwhile, unknown to anybody else, Jack's cut a deal with the D.A. for Parker - a suspended sentence and having it expunged from Parker's record after an admission and an apology. ![]() Liberty goes over to Al's and asks Janet to help her and Parker. Janet has a little motherly advice for Liberty, but ends up going down to the police station with Liberty. At the station, Craig tells Jack that Parker got the money from Craig. That's the story, and they're sticking to it. Everybody is standing around with their mouths hanging open. That's when Janet and Liberty walk in, and so Jack tells Janet to tell the D.A. where Parker really got the money. Janet says that she didn't actually see Parker take the money out of the register. The register was open, and the money was gone, but.... what ends up happening is that Parker isn't charged. ![]() Jack makes some cracks about Parker getting his principles from Carly, :rolleyes. Carly tells Jack that oh, she supposes Janet saying she didn't actually see Parker take the money was okay? Jack tells Carly about the deal he had made with the D.A., and Carly asked him why he hadn't told anybody. Jack said it was because he wanted to make a point. ![]() Later, Janet asks Jack if he's mad at her. Of course, Jack isn't, it's HIS fault, he asked Janet to tell what happened... ![]() Noah goes to Lily's and sits down with Luke on the couch. He gives Luke his watch and tells him that Damian gave it to him. Luke is confused and wonders how Damian got it. Noah realizes that Luke doesn't know that Damian is the one who brought Luke to the hospital. Noah says that maybe Luke should give Damian another chance, but Luke isn't having it, he says that he's repudiated everything Grimaldi.Meanwhile, Lily's gone to the Lakeview and is talking to Damian, trying to figure out exactly why he's in Oakdale. Damian says that he loves Luke more than his own life, he's proud of Luke and his foundation, and he wants to have a chance to make up for what he did. Lily tells Damian that if he loves Luke as much as he says he does, he'll leave him alone. Damian says that maybe he can't... just then Holden shows up and tells Damian to take the next flight back to Malta. Then Holden and Lily walk away. Damian finishes his drink, murmuring "I'm sorry, Holden, I'm not leaving until I get what I want..." ![]() Back in their room at the Lakeview, Liberty asks Parker if he believes that Jack really made that deal with the DA. Parker says his dad doesn't lie, so yeah, he probably did. But, Parker said, that doesn't mean he's coming around, it just means that he wanted me to admit I took the money, and apologize. ![]() Craig and Carly are back at Carly's. Carly's swilling more wine, and Craig says that he doesn't like seeing her let Jack get to her like he does. It borders on abuse, Craig says, and Jack's just trying to keep Carly from moving on with her life. After all, Craig says, Carly's a good mother, and Jack is wrong. Then Craig laughs and yells out, "there, I said it, Jack Snyder is wrong!" ![]() Well, I'm thoroughly confused about exactly what happened at the hospital when Damian brought Luke in. Not that it matters. ![]() I'm also wondering why Parker, who really didn't have a horrible upbringing, is suddenly so against telling the truth and apologizing. ![]() Craig, Craig, Craig! Gotta love him, but gotta, as Jack said, "want to bounce him off every wall in the room!"

I think the problem here was that Jack should have told Carly he was doing this. He's always mashing away at her for not telling him stuff, but this would have been a good thing for him to do. That way, maybe Carly would have had the chance to get through to Parker and encourage him to tell the truth and that all would be well if he did. She didn't have to tell him Jack's plan, but she could have helped it along in this way. Instead, she was just as freaked out as Parker was because the way Jack's been, it wasn't a stretch for him to put Parker in jail or have him arrested or whatever. That's why Carly went along with Craig's lie - she just didn't know what to expect from pyshco-Jack. And that's the problem - Jack can be nutso whenever he feels like it, then turn into Mr. Somewhat Normal when he goes away and thinks about things. But he forgets to let people know that he's trying to be normal again and then he blames everybody else. I'm not justifying Craig's behaviour, but then again, that's Craig and at least he's true to himself 100% of the time. But I am understanding the fear Parker and Carly live under when Jack's on one of his rampages. Thanks for recapping! |

I love Damian. I'm so happy he's back. And I'm glad he had a scene with Noah today. Whenever Damian is around I find myself liking Holden less and wanting Damian with Lily. I'm so sick of all these adults fighting over Parker. But where the hell is BRAD? Shouldn't he be informed that Liberty is married? This is ridiculous. |

Jack didn't even know that Carly was in touch with Parker. Remember Carly did not tell Jack that Craig was continuing to put Parker and Liberty up at the Lakeview. Jack had no idea that Carly would be there. When Carly walked in, Jack was surprised and asked what she was doing there. Why should he tell her about it if he didn't even think she knew Parker was meeting with the DA when he thought everything was going to be cleared up? Perhaps he thought it would worry her more and he'd rather just tell her it was resolved. A major problem is when Carly found out about the meeting, she was going to call Jack but ONCE AGAIN Craig stopped her from calling Jack. If Carly had called Jack and said she heard about the meeting it is very likely Jack would have explained what he was doing. Having watched the show, Carly wasn't freaked out about what Jack was going to do at all. In fact she was smirking and enjoying what Craig was doing. Carly had just as much responsibility to call Jack as he did to call her. Craig was wrong plain and simple for being involved period. All he did was teach Parker it's okay to lie to get your way our of everything including crimes. Even Liberty had suggested he just apologize for what he did, but Parker knew that Craig could fix things for him. I could care less if Craig is being true to himself because he's a liar, meddler and a murderer. That's not a sterling "self" to be true to. Parker also wasn't showing any fear because he knew Craig could fix things for him just like he does for himself. Craig has Carly and Parker right where he wants them, indebted to him. |

Janet let him know that they were married when she went to his house looking for Liberty. Oddly enough though it seems Brad doesn'st care and is too busy worrying about his next kid.

Judy, I agree with everything you said 100%. Today was the first time in quite awhile that I have watched the show. I have to say, at the end, I was on Jack's side with this whole mess. I just couldn't believe that Carly stood there and smirked at Jack while Craig was teaching her son to lie and get away with breaking the law.

There is definitely no way that Brad wouldn't be involved in this Parker/Liberty thing!

When I said Craig was "being true to himself", that's exactly what I meant - that he is a "liar, meddler" etc. He was doing exactly what Craig always does so his involvement wasn't surprising to me. I wasn't praising him for being true to himself, I was just stating that that's exactly who he is. |

Kudos to the acting on Thursday's show. There were great subtle touches all throughout. One scene at Memorial Luke and Noah are kissing and Damian is watching in the background with a disgusted or shocked look on his face. Made me think "what's the matter Damian haven't you ever seen cable?" Whether he was disgusted or shocked, good work from Paolo! Later when Luke tells Noah that Lily went out on an errand he gives Holden a knowing look which made me think they both knew she was really going to see Damian. Then Carly's reaction to Craig's lie about the money was priceless! I don't approve of Craig lying to protect Parker. It's not like he's his stepfather or anything (god forbid) but I understand Carly's pleasure at one upping Jack, just wish she didn't need Craig in order to do it! I'm sure Carly blames Jack for Parker taking the money since he kicked him out of the house, so that makes any "help" by Craig welcome. |
