Kara, have you watched yesterday's Y&R? I did, and cracked up. So now that they decided to exhume Marge's body and do a DNA test on it, this apparently opened up the story of Marge as a spirit, hanging around town and making comments. And you can just imagine how good the actress is at that. I just loved it. And it looks like Victor is the one who pointed out to them that all the other DNA tests proved was that Jill and Katherine's DNA doesn't match. Oh, Jill is in for a shock! And the guy from the diner proposed to Katherine and she accepted! So sweet. I hope that works out. I love them together. ![]() This stuff with Kevin and his pts is like fingers on a blackboard to me. OK, well done, but still.... and are they foreshadowing Jana's tumor come back? ![]() Sharon and her problems have me either or :puking or :cussing ..... |

I saw the show late last night when I got home from work, and I *loved* it! Especially the scene at the end when Murphy asked Katherine to marry him, and she said yes. I really hope we continue to see him once she's back at the Chancellor mansion. I think it's pretty sure that the main purpose of all these DNA tests is to show that Jill is NOT Katherine's daughter after all. And that has a lot of implications. One example: Katherine's granddaughter, Mac, is coming back, and Billy was the love of her life, but they had to break up because when it came out that Jill was supposedly Katherine's daughter that meant they were first cousins. (That never seemed to bother Tammy & Jonathan on GL, however...) So once they find out they're not related after all, who knows what that will do to Billy & Chloe. Cane will still be a Chancellor, though, because Katherine's late husband, Phillip Chancellor, was his father. And Billy is still an Abbott. Jill will be the only one left out in the cold financially. And I don't think Katherine will be very sympathetic after the way Jill's treated her, even when so many other people now believe her. Marge was great narrating the episode. I loved her take on the various characters. But I don't think we'll see her again any time soon, because at the end she said she was going back to heaven. Jeanne Cooper is such a wonderful actress. I love that she's given such a major role on the show, when so many other soaps leave their vets in the background and just trot them out for occasional weddings or funerals. I think you could be right about Jana's tumor. And ITA about Sharon ... I'm either or in most of her scenes. I also find everyone in Neil's family (Neil, Karen, Ana, Tyra, Devon and Lily) boring .. I usually FF their scenes.-Kara |

Kara, I find everybody in Neil's family material, too. ![]() You brought up some interesting possibilities for story, coming from the DNA results. I am gonna love seeing Jill not be Katherine's daughter, I never liked that story anyway. ![]() So what's going to happen with Lily and Caine? Lily is such an odd character, I think.... she just isn't real consistant for me... ![]() This stuff with Kevin and his post traumatic stress may be realistic and based on fact, but I don't find it something I like to watch. ![]() It will be interesting to see if Katherine and Murphy really get married and if they do, how it works out...

Kara, I caught a little of the show the other day and saw that Mac is back and Brock is there, too. The Sheet really seems to be hitting the fan in lots of ways. I'm liking most of it right now, except that I absolutely can't watch the stuff with Kevin and Amber on the lam....

I'm so glad they FINALLY thought to call Brock and get a DNA test to prove Mrs. C is still alive. And I hope Kevin & Amber get home soon ... it's well acted, but difficult to watch. -Kara |
