A trip to NYC is coming up! - Wednesday; More lies on Vienna & Henry's part...

Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Parker and Liberty are still living apart and even though Liberty goes to school, Parker calls in sick again. When Liberty gets home to the farm, Janet and Jack have a little talk with her and Liberty admits that she really isn't into this marriage thing. Jack and Janet convince her that she should go tell Parker that she wants them to get an annulment so Liberty heads over to Carly's... Craig's already at Carly's and he goes upstairs to talk to Parker. He tells Parker that he needs to give Liberty her freedom to make her own decisions. Parker thinks about it, and by the time Liberty arrives, Parker apologizes for being too controling and says that from now on, Liberty makes her own decisions. The two of them go downstairs and tell Carly and Craig their news, then go into the kitchen for a snack. Craig isn't done, though, and now he tells Liberty that he can probably get her an internship in NYC this Summer at a big fashion magazine. Liberty's :cloudnine at the thought but Parker isn't so happy.... Craig gets on the phone and when he hangs up he tells Liberty that it's practically a done deal... Liberty's nervous about telling her mom, so Craig says he'll go out to the farm and tell Janet. Once Craig leaves, Parker tries to get Liberty to reconsider, but when she doesn't, he says that as her husband, he'll go to NYC with her. Heck, maybe Craig can get HIM a job, too. Carly says that an apartment in NYC is way expensive, but Parker says that since this was Craig's idea, he's sure that Craig will give him some money from his trust fund. At the farm, Janet hits the ceiling when she learns that 1) Liberty didn't tell Parker she wants an annulment and 2)Craig has set up an internship in NYC for Liberty But... after Craig reassures her that Liberty won't be unsupervised, and Jack weighs in on Craig's side about this, Janet starts to come around... Meanwhile, at Brad and Katie's, Katie's preparing brunch for Vienna and Henry. Brad's grousing about having to give up their bed to Vienna and Henry, and sleep in Liberty's bed. When Henry and Vienna come into the kitchen, Katie fusses over Vienna, giving her all of Vienna's favorite foods, even though poor Henry doesn't even have any coffee... Kim shows up at the door and learns that Vienna is Katie and Brad's surrogate, so she makes a quick switch on her idea for a "having a baby" special, and wants to have both couples do a series of shows on having a baby with a surrogate who's a best friend of the couple.... Henry just can't bring himself to go to the studio to tape, though, so the other 3 go, and start taping. Pretty soon Henry shows up at the studio and is watching the taping. When he can't stand it anymore, he starts to leave, but trips over an electric cord, so the others know he's there. Kim gets him to sit down and join the taping, but in a few minutes, once again Henry leaves the set, and Brad goes after him. Before Henry can tell Brad the truth about whose baby this is, Vienna stops him.... Once again, Henry is talked into going back onset, and Vienna goes into her spiel about how happy she is to do this for her friends, and says that Henry feels the same way... once taping is over, though, Henry rushes off... Vienna tracks down Henry at Metro, where he's having a martini. She tells him that if he's changed his mind about having children, now would be the time to say something. Henry says he hasn't changed his mind, so Vienna tells him to be a man and live with it... Craig goes back to Carly's and tells Liberty the internship is a done deal with Janet. Then he gets a call from the guy in NYC who says that he needs Liberty in NYC for an interview tomorrow. Parker says to forget it, he's got baseball trials tomorrow, but Liberty's interview can't be re-scheduled... Then Craig says that he and Carly have to go to NYC tomorrow, too, for a meeting, so Liberty can go with them. Parker says he'll go, too, but he pretty much gets bulldozed into going to his baseball thingy. Liberty says that it'll only be for one night, and Craig tells Parker, "this is what marriage is, after all, give and take..." Back at the farm, Janet's having second thoughts about Liberty going to NYC and is irked that Jack seems to think it's such a great idea. Of course, they don't know yet that Parker plans on going to NYC this Summer, as well.
