Lib gets the internship! - Friday; and Parker makes the team...

Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Craig and Carly take Liberty to NYC for her job interview, which goes great, and, in fact, Liberty gets the job! She's all excited when she and her "new boss" come out to tell Carly and Craig the news. Then she learns that housing is included with the internship, but it's in dorms, and she has to live there, and Parker couldn't. So, then Liberty tells Carly and Craig that if that's the case, she won't take the job. While this is going on, Parker's at his baseball tryouts and Jack shows up to watch, as he's always done. However, since this is different, High School, :biggrin, Jack says he'll leave, but makes Parker promise to let him know how things go. Jack also tells Parker that he knows Parker will be on his own that night, so to call if he needs anything. Things are going really well between Jack and Parker, and Parker actually thanks Jack... Eliza's fever's broken and she's responding well to the antibiotics, so she's discharged. Paul says he'll hire a nurse, but Meg insists that she is taking care of Eliza! Paul relents up to the point of letting Meg come to Fairwinds to get Eliza settled, but then... of course, Meg falls asleep on the couch and Paul is touched and tells her she can stay at Fairwinds, but that nothing between them has changed. Meg goes home to get her stuff.... Now, Craig's asked Lucy if Parker can spend the night with her. Fortunately, Lucy's schedule won't interfere, and she even has time to go down to the docks after she gets a call about some kind of shipment that wasn't expected.... While she's at the docks, Jack shows up! He's gotten a call from Margo about the investigation that's been going on about smuggling activity.... He's surprised to see Lucy there, but she gives him some kind of story and Jack acts like he believes her, but he really doesn't... When Meg gets to the farm, Dusty's there. He's heard, from Lucy, about Eliza. She tells him that that's probably why they saw Meg and Paul at the hospital together last night, and she says that he shouldn't give up on Meg... Meg isn't happy to see Dusty at the farm, and Dusty isn't happy that Meg's going to stay at Fairwinds. Later, Dusty runs into Meg, who says she can contact the pvt detective she knows and have him track down the sitter in South America... Dusty says no, because Meg wants to go back to Paul... When Meg gets back to Fairwinds, Paul seems to have softened toward her, and willingly hands Eliza to her mamma. When Paul takes Meg's luggage upstairs, Meg whispers to Eliza that she's not leaving Fairwinds without her... When Paul comes downstairs, he and Meg talk about how important it is that Eliza gets what she needs, and Paul keeps insisting that "that's why you're here..." Carly tells Liberty to think about what she's doing. Carly says that she's sure that when Parker sees how important this internship is to Lib, he'll be happy for her. So Liberty is hopeful that things will work out. She calls Parker, who has good news of his own - he's made the team! Liberty tells him about getting the internship and how excited she is. Then she tells him about the living arrangements in the dorm, and that Craig said he wouldn't give Parker any of his trust fund for an apartment for just himself anyway, even if Parker asked him to. Parker isn't happy to hear that... Liberty then says she's got to go..... Liberty's new boss says there's a mixer for the new interns in Soho, and Liberty really wants to go, so Carly and Craig say she can go. Carly asks Craig, "what now?" and Craig says he thinks they should have a party of their own... Parker comes down to the police station and tells Jack that he made the team. Jack's happy and excited for Parker, then Parker says that he needs to ask Jack something... he tells Jack about Liberty getting the job, and having to live in a dorm. Parker asks Jack to buy him a ticket to New York. He says that Liberty's his wife, and if she's going to be somewhere without him, Parker wants to see where she's going to be... He's a hard kid to say no to... Crait and Carly are sitting looking at The Statue of Liberty and drinking... Carly says to Craig that she knows he set everything up cause he knew how they'd turn out... Craig says he can trust her. Craig isn't interested in going to any of their meetings, they can be put off, and instead, he gets busy kissing Carly.... Lucy shows up at Dusty's door, with Johnny. She tells Dusty she has somebody with her that will make Dusty happy, and sure enough, it works. Previews for next week look good - Noah's missing and tied up somewhere, Vienna slips and falls, Craig wakes up, it seems, in a forest, with an empty vodka bottle near him, Parker's throwing something, and Carly's telling Jack that "he" doesn't know what he wants... Meg's telling Dusty she'll stay at Fairwinds until she can get rid of Paul for good...

Newbie Posts: 52 Group: Members Member #135 Joined: September 24, 2008	I have to say that I am looking forward to next weeek. And MW was looking absolutely gorgeous today, esp. in those scenes with JL, when they are sitting on the bench.

I guess I was conned by MEG and thought she was wanting back with PAUL. PAUL, I cannot figure what he really wants...and doubt if he trusts anybody in the world any more. For having such incredibly smart parents....BARBARA and JAMES STENBECK....this PAUL APPLE fell from the tree, rolled down a hill and hit every one of TooMuch's facial mask piles for the last month... smearing all bits all over the outside before he baked in the sun for two weeks. This LIBERTY and PARKER mess has got to have an ending to it. MW-CARLY did look radiant and very beautiful!!
