Carly and Craig are back in the hotel room, having some champagne and just when they decide to have sex, there's a knock on the door. When Carly opens the door, Parker's standing there. She asks him what he's doing there, and he says he's there to see his wife, and that he can sure tell what Carly and Craig are doing... ![]() Just then, Liberty and her "boss" show up. Liberty's all excited about the party and getting to know the other interns, and is wearing one of those foam Statue of Liberty headpieces. Parker of course is aghast, and makes sure that the guy knows that Parker is Liberty's HUSBAND... Later, Parker gets all over Liberty for not making it clear that she's married. She says it just never came up. ![]() Then Parker starts getting snarky and saying that Carly and Craig are trying to break up his marriage. He tells Carly she's not a good mother, she's just a disgusting drunk... Craig tells him not to talk to her that way, and Carly just stands there, hurt.... ![]() Back in Oakdale, Damian shows up at WW while Lily's there working. She opens the door to him holding a big knife, since she doesn't know who's there... Damian asks for access to the Foundation, so he can figure out who's threatening Luke, but Lily won't give him anything, so he leaves and goes to The Lakeview. He runs into Lisa, who says she knows that the only woman who will ever mean anything to Damian is his Lily... ![]() Lily's looking in the drawer of the desk where the disks were supposed to be, and finds... the Grimaldi ring! So right away she thinks that it slipped off of Damian's finger while he was stealing the disks, so she goes looking for him. Of course when she finds Damian, he points out to her that the ring is so small it won't go past the first joint of his finger. It must belong to a Grimaldi smaller and thinner than Damian. (uh, maybe it's Luke's ring????? ) Anyway, Damian thinks that some member of the Grimaldi family is here in Oakdale setting him up... he wants to pool resources with Lily, she finally agrees, and tells him the part of the e-mail address that Noah remembers... Damian thinks about it, and finally says it means fish or fisherman in his language. Lily asks what that means, and Damian laughs and says, "Something's fishy?" Lily laughs, too...... Luke and Noah are at Luke's getting ready to watch a movie, OR something else... (ok, now that these two have kissed, is this gonna be a regular that whenever they're on, they're going to be kissing every chance they get? ) There's a knock on the door, and it's the Z's, saying it's party time. Luke says it's a weekday night.. :lo and the Z's say they're there to take Luke and Noah away from their boring selves. ![]() So Zoey pulls out a Ouija board so they can ask it who's behind the problems with the Foundation. They start playing around with the board, but they're not having any luck. Zoey manages to go into the kitchen and plug in a blender, which blows the circuit breaker, so they have to light tons of candles... Zak's disappeared, and Zoey insists that Noah has to go find Zak, cause Zak's afraid of the dark.... So Noah reluctantly goes looking. Zak's busy searching through things in Luke's room, and by the time Noah finds him, Zak has his shirt off and is once again putting the moves on Monster Noah.. Of course, Noah stays true to Luke, and bingo, the lights come back on... Noah and Zak go downstairs, just after Luke's rebuffed Zoey's flirtation... The Z's leave.... ![]() In NYC, an angry Liberty yells at Parker that it isn't just "his" marriage, and rushes to her own room. Parker goes knocking on her door, and finally, when he says he doesn't have anyplace else to go, she lets him. Then begins such whining and bullying as you wouldn't believe... oh wait, who does he sound like... I've got it, a mini Jack... Even though Liberty has several chances to tell Parker that she really wants the internship, and she does try, in the end, she tells him that he's more important to her than the internship, and she'll try to get another one closer to Oakdale.. Back in Craig's room, Carly wants to go talk to Parker, but Craig says that's a bad idea, so Carly reaches for the champagne bottle, but Craig won't let her drink, and gets her into the shower. Later, Carly says she knows she's been drinking too much ever since Jack and Janet got married, and she's got to prove to Parker that she's a good mom, and not a drunk.... ![]() Craig asks her what she wants to do, and she tells him she wants to quit drinking. Craig says fine, we'll quit, and Carly tells him that HE doesn't have to quit... Craig goes to talk to Parker, he's afraid if Carly goes, Parker will refuse to talk to her... Parker answers the door and snottily tells Craig that Liberty is turning down the internship and staying with Parker... ![]() Craig goes back to Carly's room, and says he doesn't want to go back to his room right now, he just wants to hold her for a little bit, and so he does, and tells her that everything will be okay... ![]() Damian brings Lily home, and he and Lily tell Luke and Noah about the Grimaldi ring. Luke scoffs at the idea that there's another Grimaldi in town... Damian leaves, and a little later, Noah does, too. Now Luke is complaining to his mom about how the wonderful night they planned didn't happen.... ![]() Noah tracks Damian down at The Lakeview and tells him that he believes Damian isn't behind everything that's going on.... They talk more about that e-mail name, and wonder if it means Pices, back to fish again. Damian tells Noah he's glad Luke has Noah in his life, and thanks him for believing in him... Noah leaves and comes across the Z's out on that bench in the mall. He notices a necklace Zoey is wearing, it has her zodiac sign, Pices.... of course, that's Zak's sign, too...

Weird. Given the previews for this I totally thought Lib would dump him today. I say that because based on spoiler air dates I think they are not on again until Thurs and Fri. So when is it gonna happen? I want them over like yesterday! |

I loved The Zs "Axix of Z-vil" comment. Zac has a nice bod. I love that Luke and Noah are such a loving couple and work through their problems together. More couples should be written that way. I don't get the Puberty storyline. She was into him, then she thought he was a stalker, then she married him, now I have no clue. It's just lame. Damian and Lily were great together. Loved his "fishy" joke.

That "fishy" joke cracked me up, too, I loved the way he said it, and then Lily's reaction.

I loved the fishy joke too but what I liked even better was when Lily said to Damian you think you can do better than the OPD and Paolo had the perfect expression on his face that said you didn't say that did you because those people couldn't solve a case to save their lives. I'm enjoying Damian more with Lily than I am Lily with Damian if that makes sense. Paolo is really working it but I'm just not feeling it from Lily yet I couldn't even watch the freak parade. Get those twins out of Oakdale yesterday! I thought it was interesting that we now hear that Parker is aware of Carly's drinking, I think they should have showed it before. While I'm not really happy with that story, I think Maura, Mick and Meredith are doing a terrific job with it. I'm glad that Carly's drinking is becoming an issue and will be interested to see what happens from here. I was thrilled to see Lisa since it made perfect sense for the story and she should be part of it. I'm so happy we'll be seeing Nancy tomorrow

Judy, I snickered at the look on Damian's face when Lily made that "better than the police" comment. Lisa really looked gorgeous today!

I think she (Lib) is starting to see just how dependent on her that Parker is. Being basically a kid, she doesn't know what to do. She should be telling his folks and trying to get him some psychological help. Instead, she is staying with him out of fear and guilt. She thinks that if she leaves Parker will self destruct. At least that is my take on it. ETA: Meredith Hagar is doing a terrific job. In fact, SHE is the only one keeping me interested in this storyline. Edited by cycworker, Apr 13 2009, 07:49 PM.

[/quote]This lack of psychological help is what I feel is ruining these characters. JP causes them to self-destruct and instead of getting help they wander around from one stupid incident to the next. I can't tell if JP has no faith in psychoanalysis or if she feels the use of it hampers storytelling. Well IMO analysis could help to drive these stories and ground them in reality. Famly therapy would be a great way to progress the Puberty story. Analysis could even be done with some humor, especially Paul talking to an analyst and would provide more explanation for this goofy behavior!
