Holden can't sit around doing nothing, so he goes to find some of Noah and Luke's friends to see if he can find any information that might help find the guys. Lily's supposed to stay home in case the kidnappers call, but instead she goes to the police station and talks to Damian, who's in the default cell, aka the interrogation room.  He tells her that he needs to get out of there so he can contact people and learn more about who's behind this. Lily wants to help him in any way she can, but before they can come up with any plan, Holden barges in and pulls Lily away from Damian and starts yelling at her...  Margo tells Holden and Lily they should go home, and pulls them aside and tells them that this isn't their fault and they shouldn't be so hard on each other.  Once Lily and Holden get home, Holden tries to make her feel better, and goes to make tea and sandwiches. While he's out of the room, Lily hears something at the door. She goes outside and finds an envelope with her name on it. She opens it and the message reads that she should get the money, wrap it in newspaper and wait for instructions.... Lily doesn't show Holden the note and as soon as she can, she slips out of the house .... Katie's just finishing taping an interview with a psychic. This psychic specializes in babies and children, including unborn babies.... When Brad shows up, even though Katie's told the psychic about the surrogacy arrangement, the psychic isn't picking up any vibes that Brad is the biological father. She thinks that possibly if she was with the surrogate couple, she might pick up more... so Katie takes the psychic with her and Brad to Metro, to talk to Henry and Vienna. But, there's no sign of Henry and V....Nope, the happy expectant couple are at Fashions and V is shopping for maternity clothes. Now, of course, these clothes are Vienna style, ie showcases for her boobs, and Henry is smitten, so the two of them wind up, with Lisa's blessing,  having lust in the dressing room.  They get a call from Brad telling them to come to Metro, so after finishing up, they head over there...Lily goes to The Lakeview, and Lisa is there by now.  Lily wants to see the security tapes, and even though the security officer isn't there, when Lily tells Lisa about Noah and Luke's kidnapping, Lisa shows Lily the tapes and sure enough, they see a mysterious figure sneaking into Damian's room 2 days before the first note arrives. Lily takes the tapes to show to Margo, who agrees that this seems to show that Damian may not be behind the kidnappings and Margo releases him. Damian wants Lily to work with him, but she says she's not even supposed to be talking to Damian, and she's going home, but tells Damian that if Luke and Noah aren't safe by tomorrow, Lily is going to go ahead and pay the ransom!  Holden's home wondering where Lily is when Lucinda shows up. She's feeling frustrated and useless and says that she insists on having the grandkids with her, and will send the car for them to Emma's tomorrow... Holden says he'll talk to Lily about it. At Metro, the psychic immediately picks up that Henry is the biological father, but won't come out and say it. She tries to leave, but you know Katie... Katie keeps forcing the issue that the psychic needs to do a reading or something, so eventually the psychic does a tarot card reading. Everybody gets a card - Vienna's is the Empress, Katie's the Lovers, Brad's something that means the Seductress and Henry's is the Fool. Katie keeps asking if anything is wrong with the baby and the psychic says no, but won't say anything else. Henry and Vienna leave for the diner and after they're gone, the psychic tells Katie to follow her instincts... Now Katie is really worried and wonders if Brad has any genetic disorders in his family. He says no, and neither does Vienna... regardless, Katie thinks they should have some testing done, and they want to ask Vienna immediately to do that... The psychic stops in at Al's and tells Henry and Vienna that she has chosen to be discreet about what she saw that night. She says, "You're good people, but I should remind you that all secrets are eventually discovered..." As she turns to leave, she tells Henry, "Oh, and Henry, your Fool card was reversed. This means new beginnings, but not only that, you'll be sorry if you don't embrace them!" Vienna tells Henry, "She's wrong!" but Henry mutters, "no, no, she's not..." Lily gets home and Holden doesn't put any pressure on her or ask where she's been. She tells him, though, and he tells her how it makes him feel to see her rely on Damian and not him. After all, he raised Luke and considers him to be his son... he pleads with Lily for honesty, so she shows him the note....  He takes it and leaves to the police station to show to Margo. Lily promises to stay home this time...  Damian's gone to Lisa and they're looking at scrapbooks and newspaper clippings that Eduardo had. They find one picture of a Grimaldi woman who was murdered... around her neck she's wearing a necklace. It's the astrological sign Pices... Damian remembers that the screenname of the person who hacked into the Foundation website used Pices partly in the screenname.... Damian goes over to Lily's and when he sees Holden leave, he knocks and Lily lets him in... He tells Lily that he's discovered, he thinks, who's behind the kidnappings, and wants her to help him, but she can't tell Holden, because Holden won't agree to let them do what has to be done. Lily refuses to go behind Holden's back, so a frustrated Damian leaves, and tells her she has until she receives instructions for the dropoff tomorrow to change her mind... Katie and Brad get to Al's and ask Vienna if she'll agree to genetic tests to make sure that there isn't any genetic flaw that they need to worry about. Henry agrees immediately, but Vienna says no way.  However, she eventually changes her mind, and Brad and Katie go home. Henry tells Vienna that this way, if the tests show that Henry is the father, at least Brad and Katie will find out from a doctor, and although they'll be disappointed, they won't be angry with Henry and Vienna for lying to them... Well, previews show this kidnapping stuff moving right along, as we see Lily, wearing a black hooded cloak, being shoved to the ground by Zoey, and then Zak shooting and hitting Noah! There's also something about Paul and Meg.

Wow! Lucinda lives! It's wonderful to see her. I hope she is on more. And Lisa, Nancy, Bob & Kim too! They are sorely missed. And you can't tell me that older people don't have lives. We do! Write it for them writers!

I believe the amulet with the Pisces symbol that the woman in the picture from the article wears is identical to the one that Zoe wears. So if she was murdered, she must be Zoe's mother. Wonder though how this murdered woman is related to Damian? Considering Damian's history wouldn't be surprised if the woman who pretended to be Damian's mother was the one responsible for the murder. Actually I wonder if Damian's real mother is still alive and would recognize the woman in the picture. Last we saw she was left in some nursing home I think.......... The kidnapping story is definitely better without any scenes with ZZ! Especially since without their scenes tptb had room to include Lucinda! As annoying as Holden is in his treatment of Lily he has a point about her safety. Whoever is responsible for the kidnapping is clearly following Lily so is a threat to her safety. Funny no one brought up the cop who was supposed to be tailing Luke. For her protection Lily should be tailed now as well but of course that would spoil her and Damian's plan. But hey why worry about Lily. This is the woman who concealed a gun (provided by Margo!) during her wedding to Diego aka Umberto.

From soapcentral....Damian's relatives... Relatives Lorenzo Grimaldi (Father; deceased) Orlena Grimaldi (Mother; deceased) Bettina Grimaldi (Biological Mother) Dante Grimaldi (Half-Brother) Eduardo Grimaldi (cousin; deceased) I do not put much stock on the HISTORIANS of the current writing staff....but I did think that this was interesting. And if HISTORY and FAMILY are supposed to be the reason for ZOEY's issues...I would have rather known these connections prior to having the kidnapping explained AFTER the fact. And with the small list of an Italian family....most Italian families are very extended and DAMIAN having a long lost cousin does not surprised me. It doesn't mean all that much either. If NOAH is shot in the PREVIEWS...then I would assume this storyline will be over very very soon. I hope. Psychically challenged HENRY and VIENNA....I assume that these two will be the parents of the newborn child next week?  I could only hope. The character that seems to be reverting in OLD MODE that I tired of way back when is KAKAKAKA KATIE. |

You're so right. I truly hope they end this story soon, because the thought of listening to Katie go on and on and on about "...hmmmm, something's wrong" is just so annoying. I also understand Holden's protectiveness over Lily, and obviously not wanting her to come to any harm, but his stubborness is also quite tiring to listen to. I'm anxious to see what happens with the Carly/everyone else involved in that storyline. That's actually holding my interest more than anything else these days. |
