Zoey's got a shrine to her dead mother set up in the warehouse. Apparently the Grimaldis killed her because she tried to get them to give her the inheritence she was entitled to, and they didn't want to do it. So now Zoey is going to revenge her mom. Luke and Noah try to touch Zoey's  by talking about their own families and Luke says that he'll gladly give his Grimaldi money to Zoey. But just then Zak shows up and isn't happy to find out how much information Zoey's shared with the guys. He says things are going to go their way, but just in case, he's got a gun!  Holden's out at the farm confiding in Emma, and whining about Damian and Lily getting closer. Emma is pretty darned annoyed with him and says that after all, they all want the same thing, to get Noah and Luke home safe... Holden realizes she's right and goes to tell Damian that he wants them all to work together... But while Holden's heading for Damian's room, Damian and Lily are coming up with a plan. Lily will make the ransom drop, while Damian hides. After Lily makes the drop, she's to walk to a certain place, nearby, and slip a black hooded cape on. Wearing this, she'll look just like Zoey's dead mother... Lily will lure Zoey to follow her and Damian will grab Zoey and get her to tell them where the guys are. Of course, Damian and Lily don't know that the kidnapper is Zoey... At Fairwinds, the Peg farce continues. Meg comes home with sexy lingerie, which throws Paul into a tailspin, because after all, why would she want stuff like that when they're not going to have sex and Meg isn't allowed to have sex with anybody else, either.  Meg says she just wanted to "treat" herself to something nice.  Then she tells Paul that Eliza has a doctor's appointment, followup, regular checkup, at the hospital. Paul wonders why she didn't tell him, he could have cancelled an appointment and gone with her... Oh well, says Meg, there will be other appointments.  Meg leaves and Paul goes looking for the lingerie. He doesn't find it so of course he suspects she's going off to meet a guy, probably Dusty.  He cancels his meeting and takes off. He goes to the hospital and learns that Eliza's appointment is NEXT week...  Meg's now at the farm, talking to Emma, who tells her first of all that Lily and Holden are going through some heavy stuff, but Emma can't say what it is. Then she castigates Meg for moving back into Fairwinds. Meg gives her usual explanation that it's only until she can be free of Paul for good... When Meg gets back to Fairwinds, Paul's on the warpath, and Meg seems to be deliberately acting guilty... even though she tells Paul that she went out to the farm, she somehow makes it seem like there's something else going on... And sure enough, there is.  Meg puts on the lingerie and a robe and when she hears Paul coming upstairs, she quickly gets on the phone with Emma and holds a conversation with her that Meg engineers to sound like Meg is talking to a lover... Paul of course falls for the whole thing.  Holden gets to Damian's room as Damian's getting ready to leave to carry out his part of the plan. Naturally Holden is taking his time telling Damian why he's there, and then he tells Damian that he wants to work with Damian but that Damian has to promise to keep Lily out of it. Damian says he can't promise that, because Lily is already involved.... She's making the drop! This throws Holden into a fury and he punches Damian and knocks him out and rushes off to find Lily...  Lily makes the drop while the Z's sit in a nearby car and watch. Then Zoey goes to get the "money" and, according to the plan, Lily slips into the cape and lets Zoey see her, from behind, and Zoey follows, calling out, "mamma!" ... Lily keeps going and waiting for Damian to show up, but of course he doesn't, thanks to Holden. Zoey catches up with Lily and sees her face, and at the same time,we can hear  Holden yelling, "Lily, Lily!"  Zoey pushes Lily, who falls and hits her head and is briefly unconscious. Zoey runs away and gets into the car and tells Zak what happened. They realize the money isn't there, and Zak says they've got to ditch the car, which they do, and they head back to the warehouse.At the warehouse, the guys have done some slick gymnastics, and managed to knock over a picture and break the glass, then get the glass and use it go cut themselves free.  Just as they're ready to bold, the Z's come in and say that "your mom" didn't bring the money. Luke says they're leaving, and Zak shoots Noah in the shoulder! Luke rushes to Noah's side...Zak is freaked out about shooting Noah and says "don't take it personal, monster, I didn't know what else do do!"  He has Zoey tie the guys up again, even though Noah is groaning in pain and Luke is beggin them to take Noah to a doctor... now, on top of everything else, Zoey is furious about being tricked, and her dead mother disrespected and says the Grimaldis are dogs and they all have to pay. The guys are tied up again, and Noah is unconscious... Luke is beside himself with worry... Damian gets to Lily and Holden and the guys start accusing each other of being the reason for Lily being pushed over... Obviously it's Holden's fault, and Damian is astonished to hear Holden blaming him for it... Lily tells Damian that their plan did work, because the woman was calling her mamma... Holden grabs Lily and drags her off, saying they're going to the police station, they're doing things HIS way now.... as they leave, Lily throws Damian a frustrated look.... Damian goes back to his room to figure out what to do next....At the police station, Margo has had Lily look at mug shots, but Lily hasn't recognized anybody. She's frustrated and angry and Holden's angry, too, and is blaming Lily for everything that's gone wrong. And of course Damian gets his share of the blame, too... Holden says that now the kidnappers are desperate enough to do anything. He says that this ends now, he wants Damian out of their lives...NOW! Lily says she doesn't care about anything, she just wants them back... She bursts into tears, and big strong Holden puts his arms around her... A better show today than we've had for awhile, and boy, do I ever want to  Holden! I did have to kind of snicker at the drama surrounding Noah's shooting. But hey... getting shot isn't anything to take lightly. The stuff with Meg was funny, not in a ha ha way...

Holden is SO annoying. Why can't Damian punch him and Lily tell him to shut up! Ugh. Loved the Nuke banter while tied up. :) This story was a PERFECT opportunity to have Jack and Meg interact with Lily and Holden and maybe even Luke and mix the Snyders together instead of being in three completely separate stories. Why couldn't Meg know that Luke was kidnapped? That was so lame. I'm sure you all know what I thought of the Paul and Meg scenes so no reason to say it again. LOL |

This episode was ALOT BETTER...but HOLDEN sure has a chip on his shoulder. It is hard for me to understand why tptb took HOLDEN to this level of stupidity. LILY was GREAT until she cowered to HOLDEN but I guess I understand why she did. DAMIAN...seems so ONE NOTE and I wish he could just become a contract player and stick around for a long long time. The ZZs are strange. It is believable WHY ZOEY acts the way she does...but ZAC...I assume just wants to get rich quick. So are they just boyfriend and girlfriend? The SHOOTING of NOAH was really well done. It was one of the more real shootings that I have watched on daytime in a longtime. Listening to NUKE...it is hard (for me) to love them even MORE than I do now. I LOVE NUKE and as much as COUPLES seem to go through so much angst in Oakdale...I just cannot fathom ever seeing these two guys apart....and we still really have not even seen them in bed together....(and probably never will). Yeah...I wished the whole SNYDER CLAN could have been pulled into the NUKE business. |

Something I noticed that you had left out...at the end Damian looked again through all the papers Lisa gave him from Eduardo's scrapbook and found a photo of a woman and her daughter with the names Anna and Gia written on the back. Damian said that the woman who was murdered by the Grimaldis was named Anna Liasposa (sp?) but now with the photo we know her daughter's name is Gia. Since he knows Anna's daughter is the kidnapper Damian can now track down Zoey by looking up her real name! Better act soon now that Noah's been shot, but looking at previews tomorrow is all about Lucy the smuggler and the Puberty break up! Meg sure has become a cold hearted so and so. Also an idiot! Guess she wants to entice Paul to try to kill her and no doubt be put away for attempted murder or by reason of insanity? Meg brings up that stupid pact that if she has sex with anyone he will kill her and right after that she's pretending to talk to a lover with Paul overhearing! Clearly Paul is very dangerous but like all other Snyder women she's gonna jeapordize her safety to achieve her goal!

Rich, I am not a Meg fan, but I hardly see her as acting coldhearted toward Paul. :wack If anybody deserves to be smacked down, it's Paul.

ITA however Meg's attitude change from loving to indifferent and now heartless is a bit jarring. Paul's treatment of her is cruel and her deserves any cold revenge she cares to serve. But while his attitude change can be chalked up to insanity that has developed over time Meg is so calculated it seems out of character for her. Maybe its because its her own idea and not part of someone else's crazy scheme!

This MEG business....I am starting to wonder if RICHB is right....Meaning MEG is trying to turn the screws more loose in PAUL's brain. Is MEG just setting up PAUL to go off the deep end? What I found strange in MEG's behavior...it is one thing to fake a visit to EMMA's...but then to be in such a sexy nightie and talking so strangely to her mother...probably knowing that PAUL was listening?? |

Well, of course Meg is messing with Paul's brain, flashy, at least IMO..... and isn't that what counts? As for Meg talking to Emma while wearing the sexy lingerie and knowing Paul's listening, well, that was part of her plan all along.... I just don't give a darn at this point...
