Kara, we just got home and I'm watching Y&R, it's Katherine's big day, and lots of other stuff seems to be going on, too, BUT.... I knew you'd want to be warned that Anna will supposedly be singing at the wedding.

OK, the wedding.... Katherine's in a white suit, looks great, the attendants are in shades of blue, Amber, Mack and Nikki.... Murphy asked Victor to stand up with him when it seemed like Kevin wouldn't be there, and Victor accepted. Kevin arrived later, but wasn't up to standing up with Murphy, who understood.  The way the attendants walked down the aisle was really clumsy looking, except for Nikki. The other two did that step. step. step thing, you know what I mean?  I think Sharon is pregnant.  Jill got drunk and showed up outside, trying to get in, but then Nina was there... couldn't really have been Nina, could it?  Anyway, previews showed Jill gagged and tied up in a closet.  Why does Esther always have to act like such a hick? Wait until you see her at the very end...

I just finished watching today's episode ... it was great! Yes, that's definitely Nina who discovered drunken Jill trying to get into the house. (She was also back for "Katherine's funeral" a few months ago, but of course it was actually Marge's funeral.) It was kinda funny watching Jill, Jeff and Gloria get drunk together. Katherine looked wonderful. Supposedly Amber designed the wedding outfits for Katherine, Mac and herself ... I guess Nikki got her own. (That's why you saw Jack turn to Amber and smile at her when Katherine first showed up to walk down the aisle ... he was congratulating her on her design.) I didn't especially like Amber's dress, but Adrienne Frantz looks beautiful in that shade of blue. Ashley's top looked like camouflage. I finally realized who the actress is that plays "Mary Jane" ... she was The General's daughter in Prison Break. I can't tell you how much I wish Sharon was NOT pregnant, but it certainly looks like she is. So it could be either Nick's or Billy's. Did she also sleep with Jack? At least she turned down the late Brad, so we know it's not his. I'm glad Kevin made it to the wedding. -Kara Edited by Kara, May 1 2009, 07:06 PM.

Well, the wedding continued to its conclusion and Katherine and Murphy are man and wife.  Thank goodness! And thank goodness that Anna's song was pretty low key and didn't take up a ton of screen time.  I noticed for the first time that the actor playing Murphy seems to be wearing a hearing aid.

I'm glad the wedding came off, despite Jill's memorable entrance. I wondered why Lauren wasn't there at the start ... I guess they needed somebody to show up late & find Jill in the closet! I hope the Governor decides to pardon Kevin & Amber.  I thought it was funny when Kevin said something to Michael like, "Don't you have even one client left who's not a family member?"  -Kara |
