Kim stops over at Brad and Katie's and says that she's arranged to set up a childbirth class, to film. Katie, Brad and Vienna are all for it and Vienna wants to call Henry, but Katie goes :down on that, since Henry's been acting so weird lately. :hmm

Over at the diner, Henry's talking to Bob about fatherhood, and is there something wrong with a person who doesn't want to have kids... :muchlove Bob tells him that staying childless is certainly okay, but that parenthood is one of the most wonderful experiences a person can have...Then Bob gets a call from Kim, asking if they can use a particular room at Memorial for the faux class, and Bob passes that info on to Henry, who feels left out...

Holden's overcome with the desire to do something fun with Luke and Noah, so he suggests a Cubs game. The guys are up for it, but Holden learns that the Cubs are playing in NYC. Rather than skip their outing, they end up borrowing Lucinda's jet and flying to NYC for the game. :shutup Afterward, Noah and Luke spend some time together, trying to make good memories to replace the bad ones that the city holds, and Holden walks off to try and find a special restaurant where he and Lily had a wonderful meal in the past. He plans to call the guys later, and they'll meet him at the restaurant for lunch.

As Noah and Luke walk around the city, Noah says that he could see them living there, and asks Luke if he'd consider moving there right away. Luke says that he's not ready to do that yet, maybe in 10 years. This puts a smile on Noah's face, the thought that Luke wants to be with him in 10 years. :muchlove

Now, Lily's gone to WW to work, and guess who's there, too? :devil Yes, Damian. He's got plans to try and blend a charity that he works with, for children, with Luke's charity, and has a meeting set up in NYC. Of course, Lily ends up going there with him. :waiting The meeting's a big success, largely due to Lily, according to Damian, and he suggests having lunch. So Lily takes them to that same special restaurant that Holden's looking for. Naturally, Lily and Holden end up calling each other and discovering they're both sitting outside at the restaurant. Damian's inside, so Holden doesn't know that he's there, and Holden and Lily sit down and chat about the happy memories this restaurant holds for them.

Just then, Damian walks out! :eek Holden isn't happy, but he does hold himself under control. :devil Damian suggests that they start out with some wine, and suggests a few, but Holden tells the waiter he'll have "a beer, whatever's on tap..." :waiting Then Noah and Luke walk up and Luke cops an attitude, until learning about the successful business meeting. After Lily finishes telling him just what a great job Damian did, Luke's attitude has changed totally...

It's time to go back to Oakdale, and it ends up with Lily, Holden, Luke and Noah flying back on Lucinda's jet and Damian going on his own.... Everybody's being gracious and civil... :shutup

The childbirth class continues, and Katie seems to be doing her best to make things go the way she wants them. No matter what the instructor says, Katie has to tweak it just a little. :smack Vienna gets a call from Henry, telling her that he's angry, and next thing you know, just as Vienna's doing some panting, with Katie at her head, and Brad's at the other end, Vienna's 'gateway to life', being supportive, Henry bursts in and yells, "what are you doing to her?" :lol There's lots of explaining, and Katie ends up dragging Henry out in the hall and telling himself that she's the one who didn't want him at the class, and why. She tells him he's got to get himself together, and they go back inside.

The instructor has a "bot baby", which supposedly acts just like a real baby, and is great practice for expectant parents. :hmm They force Henry to hold the baby, and suddenly he becomes almost hypnotized by it, and ends up taking off with babybot... everybody is disturbed, after all, these things are expensive, and anyway, what's Henry doing! :eek

Bob and Kim find a few minutes to talk, naturally their convo centers on parenthood, and they both agree that it's not for the faint of heart. :shutup They say that although Tom's turned out okay, the jury's still out on Chris. :lol :lol (No, no, I said, he's alive and well on Network tv! :lol )

Vienna finds Henry back at home, where he seems to be totally out of touch with reality as far as bot baby goes... :hmm She tries to get him to give her the doll to return, bu luring him with talk of sex games, and he does hand her the doll. She says she's going to give the doll to Brad and Katie. Henry says, "they can have the doll, but there's no way I'm letting Brad and Katie have OUR baby!" :eek

Katie and Brad, meantime, see a poster for a comedy show at Yo's, and guess who the comic is...yes, Dr Schlepert or whatever the faux doc is who gave them ralse results of the genetic testing! What's going on???? :fliplid They find Dr Bob and show him the poster with the comic's picture and ask if this guy is a doctor on staff at Memorial. Bob says that although the hospital could use some laughs, no way is this guy a doctor. :eek

Back in Oakdale, Lily and Holden are managing to talk calmly about Lily's trip to NYC with Damian. Holden says that as long as they're talking about things, he's fine... :hmm

In another part of the room, Noah tells Luke, "both of your dads came through for you today!" :2thumbs

And in NYC, Damian's flight has been delayed. He's on the phone with somebody, saying in a pretty sinister way, that his business has got to stay private. :hmm

Looks like this surrogate story is going to unravel pretty quickly this week! :clap

Except for my stomach saying, "KillKatie"....randomly throughout Tuesday's show...

I have got to give the SHOW alot of credit for being one of the better episodes of ATWT in a LONG LONG LONG TIME.

HENRY ROCKS and I hope he ends up with the baby....with VIENNA.

HOLDEN was in more gentle today. I truly enjoyed the SNYDERS. It looks like the true side of DAMIAN is emerging.

I can deal with BOTBABY. It is very easy to see that BOTBABY is really BRAD's kid while HENRY's kid is in the oven. But I wonder who really is the bio-parental units of the baby? I could see HENRY and VIENNA getting their hopes up and then find out that BRAD is the biohazardDad.

Great show!!

Yaaaay! The surrogate charade is ending! I knew it would be all about Henry realizing he wants to be a father. I just hope Brad and Katie find an alternative like adoption so they can be out of Henry and Vienna's orbit for a while. Though two baby stories at the same time could be overkill. :shutup \

I had a bad feeling about Damian when he and Holden were being so civil to each other. And sure enough he IS up to something. But I doubt the ZZ's were part of his plan. So, Barb I guess Bailey Chase is the only Chris Hughes for you? :lol I'm hoping Dylan Bruce has found something since ATWT. But I always liked Paul Korver best as Chris. :biggrin

Chris Hughes....PaulKorver was the BEST...mainly because of his connection with NANCY.

DYLAN BRUCE is my favorite eye candy. Perfect male body specimen.

BAILEY CHASE has DEFINITELY become my favorite ALUM of CHRIS HUGHES and he just gets better and better.
