Poor Johnny is showing the stress of all the fighting over him by Dusty and Craig, and I'm sure, from not seeing Lucy.  Dusty finds Johnny hiding in the bathroom, and refusing to speak, so he takes him to the hospital. Lucy's working, and wants to check out Johnny, although Dusty thinks another doc should do that. Lucy wins out, though, and gets Johnny to tell her that he's "scared"... Carly and Craig are together at The Lakeview, waiting to hear if Craig is getting custody of Johnny back. A messenger arrives with an envelope, and sure enough, Johnny "belongs" to Craig again. They go up to Dusty's room and Craig pounds on the door. A maid walks bye and tells them that Dusty took Johnny to the hospital, so they head over there. At the hospital, Dusty and Craig fall back into their warring roles. Lucy tells them that they need to stop this, or irrepairable damage will be done to Johnny. She tells them that since Dusty brought Johnny to the hospital, he should take him back to the hotel, and then explain things to him, and take him to Craig. Craig tells Dusty that he has 30 minutes.  Dusty leaves Johnny with Lucy and Carly in the lobby and goes to find Craig. He tells Craig that he doesn't want to hurt Johnny, but.... he wants a place in Johnny's life. Craig momentarily looks like he's thinking about that, but then tells Dusty that Dusty's got a nerve, and walks off to get Johnny. The poor kid is quietly coloring, and doesn't say a word when Craig swoops him up and takes him up to his suite. In other parts of town...  Casey's inviting Ali to come over for a BBQ. His parents won't be there, so anything that "happens" afterward will be between the two of them.  Ali's up for that, and yet, when she sees Jade, she immediately invites her to the BBQ! Casey isn't pleased, but what can he do?  Next, Ali says she's going to invite Hunter, as well. More matchmaking. So Ali goes looking for Hunter.Emily's just told Hunter to take a hike and go to Al's, because Hunter is driving her nuts. Ali finds him there and invites him to the BBQ, but he turns her down.... and goes back to work. He tells Emily about refusing Ali's invitation, and Emily orders him to go.... she tells him to bring candy as a gift, so he picks up some gummi bears.. Jade has absolutely refused to go to the BBQ, but when Hunter says he'll come, Ali sends Casey to beg Jade to change her mind, so, with some coercing, she agrees. Her fear, though, is that Hunter might "set me on fire!"  Things at the BBQ don't go well. Turns out Hunter doesn't eat meat, and his nerdiness is really loud and clear. Jade's standing by herself staring at him in disbelief, while Ali tries to behave like a sweet little hostess and Casey's the wisecracking chef. Finally Hunter agrees to try a burger and likes it, but when he offers Jade one, he drops it. She calls the 5 second rule, which Hunter's never heard of, and it seems to spook him, since he rushes out... Jade tells Ali and Casey to never, ever, ever do this to her again. Alone, Casey and Ali are kissing when, gee, big surprise, Ali pulls away... THIS again.. Casey says they should take the entire sleeping together thing off the table, until some time when they make a rational decision about it....  Then they go back to making out... Back at The Intruder, Hunter comments to Emily that she and Ali are so different, and wonders if there's a big age difference, or if they have different fathers or something... Emily ends up telling him about giving birth to Ali, and Hunter is blown away by the coolness of that. When Carly learns that Craig's refused to let Dusty be a part of Johnny's life, she scolds him, and tells him he should be generous. She talks about how she and Hal used to fight constantly about Parker, until they figured out that they could both love him and be in his life. Craig asks her if "generous" Craig might be a man she could fall in love with, and she says she might not be able to stop herself, so Craig immediately calls a sitter for Johnny, tells Carly to come with him, and tells Dusty that he's changed his mind about letting Dusty into Johnny's life. You know, I am sooooo  with this on/off stuff with Ali and sex. Puhlease, just join a nunnery already! And now throw the matchmaking for Jade into it?  It WAS nice today to see Dusty and Craig talking without raising their voices, even though that particular conversation didn't go well for Dusty. Hunter and his cluelessness reminds me of the scientist/author on Bones. |

I love Hunter! He's adorable. I hope they have something good planned for his character. Talking about Emily and the egg makes me wonder if he's somehow related to them? I'm glad Craig is going to give Dusty some time with Johnny but it would have been nice if he did it because he wanted what's best for Johnny not because he wanted to score points with Carly. |

Possible spoiler/speculation...................................................................................................... * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Since Larry (Ed Fry) is supposed to return soon with some "news" for Allison, maybe that might include this Hunter character. halways  Edited by RogerD, May 12 2009, 04:42 PM.

I like Hunter too, but the thought of a good storyline seems like too much to ask for these days....!! Anyway, I think he's really cute and different from everyone else they've brought on. We'll see. |

The problem with Ali and Casey having sex is its always brought up in the wrong places, like the Hughes living room. First he's gotta get her into his bedroom but guess that won't happen until their mentally ready. But as JP and CG have stated, they don't like to have romantic scenes with candles and half naked passion. They want to leave it to our imagination. So what kind of payoff can we expect?  Hunter may be nerdy and klutzy but he would be refreshing on this show because he has no criminal background and has no mental problems. As far as speculation about his character, I'm thinking there's a striking resemblance to Ed Fry....

I love HUNTER...so you KNOW he will end up a crazy nut job like my PrincesssJULIA. It is just the way tptb treat characters I love in Oakdale. |

Well, don't get me wrong, I like Hunter, too, but once again, I think he's falling victim to lazy, stupid writing. The sad thing is, I'm not surprised.
