Meg, Dusty and Damian, with a little assistance from Bonnie, are searching for Paul and Eliza. The police won't put out an alert for Paul, since technically he's not doing anything wrong. They can't talk to Jack because he's on a stakeout... and of course, Margo's not around, and nobody else on the department seems to know anything about Paul's history.... ![]() Damian tracks Paul down at a private airport where he's trying to charter a plane to fly someplace. Paul gives the owner a wad of money, and then goes walks off somewhere to check on something and Damian shows up and tells the owner that he'll double whatever Paul gave him, to keep Paul on the ground for awhile, but Paul's spotted Damian and took off.... then, he abandons his car by the side of the road and walks off, carrying Eliza, to buy a used car. ![]() Meg keeps telling Dusty not to do anything to get himself thrown in jail, or to make things worse, and she also, everytime Damian comes up with an idea, shoots it down. Damian gets back and tells Meg and Dusty that he saw Paul's car by the side of the road, so Dusty goes to tell Bonnie and Meg tells Dusty, "I have to go see the car!" (What, she wants to take a picture of it or something? )Another search is going on, too, the search for Henry. Brad keeps coming back to the hospital to tell Katie that he can't find Henry. And then she sends him out to keep looking. Brad even goes to Henry's room and Henry hides and has one of the gamblers answer the door and tell Brad that Henry's not there.... ![]() The doctor does an ultrasound and tells Vienna that she's lost the baby. Vienna is absolutely heartbroken and begs him to turn on the machine again, or to get another machine, this one must be broken... Katie's comforting Vienna, and poor Vienna is turning to Katie, since Henry's not there... she even calls Katie her sister, which of course makes Katie feel even worse.... Before you know it, Brad and Katie are taking Vienna home with them....They've just gotten there when Henry arrives with a huge teddy bear and the $10,000 that he's won. He babbles on and on and on and on while Brad tries to break the sad news to him, and finally he shuts up when Vienna walks into the room. She collapses in his arms as Katie tells him that Vienna had a miscarriage...the baby is gone.... Henry takes Vienna into the bedroom and has her lie down and then comes back to talk to Brad and Katie. Katie explains to him how the accident happen, and a stoneyfaced Henry says that it doesn't sound like an accident to him. He starts talking about how horrible Kati and Brad have been, and tells Katie that it took a lot for Vienna to come to her, bringing gifts, and that when Katie wouldn't even listen to her, Vienna would have been so focused on Katie's pain that she wasn't being careful, and that's why she tripped. Katie's crying and Brad tells Henry that he understands, and that Henry should take as long as he needs to work through this, but that Henry should be careful what he says to Katie, after all, look at her, she's hurting, too... and she's Henry's best friend, he knows her and knows she wouldn't have wanted this to happen... ![]() Henry stares at Katie and says very quietly, "Oh, yes, I know you. I know that it's always all about you. Vienna's shattered, our baby is gone, and I'm supposed to worry about what I say to you." Then he goes to Vienna and takes her home, leaving the $10,000 behind.... Dusty's now at the police station. Bonnie's got the cops motivated and a judge is signing off on an order to put out an alert on Paul, but Dusty has to start being a bullhead as usual and Bonnie is trying to shut him up and get him to calm down. Good luck with that. ![]() Damian and Meg have gotten to Paul's car...somehow....and Meg finds the keys and unlocks it and finds Eliza's big.... She starts losing it, yelling "how could he have done this?" Damian says that Paul can't be too far, on foot, but she says that he doesn't know Paul, he could be anywhere by now.... She falls into Damian's arms, and he comforts her, he says that she'll have her daughter back soon, and that Eliza won't even remember any of this. Meg agrees, but says that she'll remember.... Paul's walking along, talking to Eliza about how they had to make a quick getaway when he spots....Rosanna.... Paul walks after Rosanna, keeping his distance, and finally convinces himself that it couldn't be Rosanna... but as he turns away, we see Rosanna peering out at him from around the side of a building.... ![]() Katie's confessing to Brad that when she saw Vienna at WOAK, all she could feel was anger and jealousy. She's to blame for Vienna tripping and falling... Brad's trying to make Katie believe it's not her fault, but how can he, when really, it IS! ![]() Back at The Lakeview, Henry and Vienna are grieving, yet still being there for each other. Henry tells Vienna, "I love you" and she answers, "I love you more..." She tries to sleep and Henry walks over to the video camera, remembering the other day when they'd been so happy and making a movie... he turns it on and watches himself talking to the baby about how much he wants it, and how much his idea of what love is has changed, due to the baby.... Well, the baby 4some were all very effective today with a very sad storyline. And I was so glad that Henry didn't immediately forgive Katie, and that he said to her what he did. She deserved it, and more.... ![]() I had some thoughts, though about the medical side of the story. For instance, Vienna appeared to be fairly far along in her pregnancy, maybe 4 months? Or 5? And wouldn't she have had to spend at least the night in the hospital? And if she miscarried, wouldn't she have been aware of it, and maybe needed a D&C afterward? And what about the baby itself? Old enough to have some sort of service? Then there's Meg. Really, I didn't feel any sympathy for her at all, the way she was shrieking and arguing.... I actually kind of wished that Paul and Eliza would disappear, but then of course we'd never get Meg to shut up.

I loved Henry today. What he said to Katie was spot on. The acting was great today. Barb, I also wondered about Vienna needing a D&C.

I thought when we saw Vienna waking up and saying she wasn't pregnant anymore that we were supposed to assume she had just come out of surgery. I too wondered if the baby wasn't old enough that they might want some service but since JP has such a penchant for killing babies perhaps she didn't want to go into that aspect. I thought both Ewa and Trent were fantastic! I too especially loved the steely look on Henry's face when he called Katie out on her selfishness. And credit to Terri for playing Katie as very unlikable through this. I hope that Henry doesn't forgive her anytime soon. I want Katie to earn his forgiveness. She has treated him terribly over the years and it's been all about Katie so let her learn and earn his forgiveness. I still am not a fan of this story but the scenes of Henry and Vienna have made it worth it. I liked seeing Bonnie back and enjoyed the interaction between Dusty and Bonnie. The whole saga though regarding Meg/Paul/Eliza just makes me want to scream. We really need a break from them. |

Again the characters were GREAT....but I am definitely ready for a new chapter. It is nice to see ROSANNA return. Now maybe PAUL will just return the kid and focus on RO. I enjoyed PAUL a little sortof. Really. I mean it. ![]() HENRY was my favorite. It is sad that now DAMIAN has entered the DUSTY DRAIN attempting to be the white knight for MEG. I also loved BONNIE. |
