Bonnie's talking to Dusty and telling him how glad she is that he's stayed out of this kidnapping by Paul. :waiting Of course, then he starts yelling that they shouldn't have put the video up, because it'll make Paul go deeper into hiding. Bonnie says that none of this is any of his business, you can imagine how well Dusty takes that. :lol

Damian tells Meg that the video has already gotten 250,000 hits, and this gives Meg hope, and then she gets an e-mail, with a picture of Eliza. The e-mail says that Meg is to come alone to a particular corner, in Wisconsin, which is close to the airport where Meg and Damian went to try and catch up with Paul. Meg's determined to go, even though she seems to not be feeling too well. :waiting Meg does agree to tell Bonnie what's going on and they catch up to her at The Lakeview, still with Dusty. Neither Bonnie nor Dusty thinks that Meg should go alone, and everybody offers to go with her, but nope, Meg's gonna do it... unfortunately, she just happens to pass out as she's leaving. :waiting :wacko and Bonnie says that she'll go alone in Meg's place, and Meg says okay, and Damian takes her to the hospital..."Can you walk, Meg?" "Yes, just go slow..." :puke :puke

Of course Dusty thinks he's going with Bonnie, but she forbids him to come, and leaves. You know how that's gonna go, though, right? :huh

Craig's at Carly's waiting for her and telling Parker just how bad off Carly is, and how maybe, just maybe, Parker can help her... :muchlove Craig calls Carly. She's at Yo's, talking to the bartender and another partron, Gus, who buys her a second vodka. Gus is obviously hot for Carly, but she holds him at a distance, and tells Craig that she's on her way home, she's at the art store, getting stuff so she can work on the new water concept.

Carly actually does get home, and apparently neither Craig nor Parker can tell she's been drinking. :hmm Craig tells her he's come up with a name for the designer water, "How does Mid-Day Sun" sound? :lol :lol Well, Carly thinks that sounds great and shoos Craig out, so she can work on the concept. After Craig leaves, the doorbell rings, and Carly opens the door to Gus! :eek He's followed her home and wants to party. Carly's trying to let him down easy, but he's not going to take no for an answer. Fortunately, Parker is listening and shoves Gus out the door. :clap Then, he starts getting angry with Carly, but he seems to finally realize, in part from the way Craig talked to him earlier, and partly just because he's Carly's son, how very deep in trouble Carly really is. Mother and son end up sitting down, with a bowl of popcorn, and having one of the most wonderful talks they've ever had. :muchlove Carly tells Parker she knows she should stop drinking and she tries, but she just keeps doing it... Parker says that he's like that, too. He sees himself doing all these stupid things and he just can't stop doing them. Carly hugs him and says that Parker is so much like she is, and she's sorry. :shutup She wonders if Parker was more like his dad if things might be easier for him... but she says that she loves Parker so much the way he is, that she really doesn't want him to be anything other than what he is. :hug They talk about AA and Carly says it's just not for her, and they compare that to how therapy didn't work for Parker. :biggrin Carly says she understands how frustrating it is to have people telling you what to do all the time, and she understands Parker dropping out of school. :shutup :muchlove :muchlove :muchlove

Craig comes back to Carly's with coffee and cookies, and Parker says that she went to a meeting, that the two of them had a talk and realized they both needed help. Craig is really happy to hear that and tells Parker that he knew Parker could be a big help to Carly. He tells Parker that when Carly comes home, Parker should tell her that Craig is proud of her. :biggrin He also tells Parker that there are enough cookies for two... :devil

But when Craig leaves, Carly comes out of another room, thanking Parker for lying to Craig and saying she just wasn't up to listening anybody tell her what to do. She and Parker hug, and while it's good that they're doing better with each other, part of me feels almost as if each of them is somehow enabling the other, and maybe not in a good way. :hmm :hmm :cry

Paul and Rosanna and Eliza are out in the field, supposedly picking asparagus. :lol Not much is getting picked, let me say... :devil Edna comes out and insists on taking Eliza back to the store, saying Eliza's getting too much sun out in the field. Paul doesn't want her to take Eliza, but does, but not for long, and before Edna can drive off, Paul's there and stops her. Actually, he stops her by spinning out a bunch of BS. :cuss :smack Edna falls for it, and doesn't take Eliza to the meeting place, OR call the police. :gaah

Rosanna tells Paul that despite what he said, she still thinks it's wrong for Paul to keep Eliza from her mamma. :muchlove

Bonnie's cooling her heels waiting, but Edna doesn't show up, and instead, Dusty comes roaring up. She's not happy to see him, and tells him to go to hell and gets into her car, which, of course, doesn't start. :smack So she gets in with Dusty and tells him to drive. They get to a repair service, but it'll be an hour or more before Bonnie's car can be towed, and Bonnie tells Dusty he's not going anywhere, and starts getting on the mechanic's case about not being any quicker. :shutup The guy running the garage asks if "all you people from Illinois are this impatient" and Bonnie snaps, "it's the water!" :lol But Dusty jumps on that and asks who else from Illinois has been there, maybe a guy with a little baby girl? The mechanic says yeah, that's right, and Dusty and Bonnie look at each other and say, "Paul's here!" :hmm

Meg has a fever... :rolleyes and Damian's brought her back to Fairwinds (?) and is putting cold cloths on her.... she dozes off and her cell rings. Damian answers it, but nobody says anything. It's Paul... :eek

The Carly and Parker scenes were fantastic! They were heartbreaking too because as you say they are enabling each other :cry Parker doesn't realize what bad shape Carly is in and that she can't stop on her own. And because of Carly's situation, she doesn't realize that Parker was reaching out for help also. If only they really could be strong and help each other but I don't believe that is the way it will go. But I loved seeing their old connection again.

I enjoyed the Dusty/Bonnie scenes too. Loved when he was about to leave her and said I'm on strict orders to go down to hell :lol The snark they traded was good. I definitely need to see more but I see some potential there. :fingers

Prozac was as boring as ever :sleeping :sleeping :sleeping

Poor Damian. How did he get sucked into this too :cry Damian took Meg up to his hotel room.

What cracked me up was the other day immediately when Meg's video was on UsTube it had over 161,000 views. When Paul and Rosanna viewed it today it was at the same number despite I think it was Damian saying it was now over 280,000 :lol

I really was cracking up at Bonnie and Dusty, too, and wondered about possibilities there... on the other hand, Bonnie doesn't come across as a damsel in distress, so who knows. :shutup

Thanks for telling me where Damian took Meg. Somehow in all that angst... :puke I got confused. :waiting

Not that anyone cares about this but me.. :shutup But one thing about what Meg said really bugged me. In her plea to Paul she said she realized he is a good father and she wants him to be a part of Eliza's life. Then later she tells Dusty or whoever that she's going to make sure Paul never sees Eliza again. So which is it? Was she just telling Paul what he wanted to hear?

I think Meg would say anything to get Paul to return. She's much more dishonest with Paul because she doesn't know any other way to deal with him. With Dusty she can be a straight shooter but with Paul.....he's too nuts to reason with. Even Rosanna is going along with Paul instead of turning him in because he can't be reasoned with. :devil Meg is so focused on this she hasn't taken care of health and doesn't even want to go to work. Its like all she wants to be is a mother to Eliza and I hope when she gets her back she tries to have a career, but with her dependency on Damian I'm not so sure. :smack Bonnie presents a nice contrast to these women on the show who have no backbone. She's independent, sure of herself and can be the hero when called for. Looks like Dusty's met his match! :2thumbs
