Paul called Meg, but when Damian answered the phone, Paul hung up and vowed to Rosanna that he was done, finished, Meg would never see Eliza again! Meg screeched at Damian to try and call the hang up number back, and he did, with no luck. Meg said she thought it might be Bonnie, so Damian called Bonnie...Meanwhile, Bonnie and Dusty aren't having any luck finding Paul. They're still hanging around the garage and the town. Dusty thinks that Paul is still around there, and Bonnie doesn't, but eventually Bonnie says that she'll help Dusty look around. First, though, she's got to go talk to the guy about her car, and she grabs Dusty's keys first, so he doesn't take off without her. Dusty mutters, "She's getting too much in control..." ![]() Back at the co-op, Paul's ranting and raving like a crazy man, and really being nasty to Rosanna. He even throws it in her face that she will never have a baby. Edna's in town and overhears Dusty and Bonnie arguing. Bonnie says she's leaving, and as she's paying for her car, Dusty comes up and says he thinks she's probably right, and Paul and Eliza are long gone.. ![]() Edna's gone back to the co-op and told Paul and Rosanna about seeing a woman, not Meg, and a guy named Dusty in town, looking for Paul and Eliza. Paul freaks and says he's outta there, but Rosanna stops him and says he's got to be very, very careful. Ro has a plan, but it will only work if Edna cooperates... Paul still wants to run, but Edna stops him with a "Hey, Bucko! listen to what Rosanna's got to say." ![]() Quickly, Edna goes back to town, to the garage, and tells Bonnie and Dusty that she's seen Paul and Eliza and that Paul asked her how to get to Sparta, MN... when Edna's walked off, Dusty tells Bonnie that they aren't going to Sparta, they're going to "follow that woman. She's lying!" ![]() Holden gets home and asks Lily where Meg is. Lily says Meg's resting in Damian's suite and of course they've got to head over there. Right before they arrive, Damian's had Meg take off her shirt, and get "under the covers", (a throw) and lie down on the couch. Meg doesn't waste any time at all in stripping down, and gosh, she covers up, but you can still see her boob area. When Holden and Lily come in, of course they're surprised to see Meg half undressed, and Holden switches into mode.... Then, Holden finds out that Meg and Damian got the lead, but didn't tell the police, and that sets Holden off even more.... Eventually, though, Meg agrees to go home with Holden and Lily. Now Bonnie and Dusty are arguing about whether or not Edna's lying. Even though the garage owner says that Edna's an honest person, Dusty insists that Edna had "tells" and he knows for sure that she's lying. Bonnie insists that she, as a lawyer, can tell when somebody's telling the truth, and she believes Edna. ![]() Back at the co-op, Edna tells Paul and Rosanna that Dusty and Bonnie fell for her story, hook, line and sinker.... ![]() Bonnie calls Meg and tells her about talking to Edna, and says that she's heading for Sparta, MN. Meg's encouraged, and says she feels better just hearing this... ![]() Holden says he'll call Jack and have Jack contact the people in Sparta... ![]() Meg calls Damian, who just took off his shirt, and tells him the "good news". She says that Holden's contacting Jack, who will set things in motion. Damian is feeling horrible, by now, physically, as he thinks he's caught Meg's flu, and collapses on the couch. Suddenly, Lily grabs her purse and her keys and starts out the door. She tells Meg that if Damian has the flu, he shouldn't be alone. Lily bursts into Damian's suite and tells him to get his things together, she's taking him to her place. Damian asks, "what about Holden?" and Lily quips, "I don't think Holden makes house calls.." Lily tells Damian that he's family and this is what families do. So now Lily's got Damian home and says that she'll convince Holden to let Damian stay with them for a few days. So she takes Holden outside, and tells him what she wants. Holden thinks she's nuts, but Lily defuses his anger by telling him what a wonderful husband he is. Meanwhile, Damian and Meg are snuggled up under a throw, on the couch. ![]() Bonnie tells Dusty she's leaving, if all he has is his gut feeling, about Edna lying. He tells her that Edna was in town and had to overhear them talking about Paul and Eliza.... Once again, though, she changes her mind... So she and Dusty head off, looking for Edna... Bonnie reminds Dusty that she's in charge of the radio... ![]() Out at the co-op, Paul's apologizing to Rosanna and saying that since James died, Paul has had some bad times. Rosanna is shocked to hear that James is dead, but thinks that it must have been liberating. Paul, though, says that even dead, James has been haunting him, and has made Paul seem insane... ![]() Rosanna tells Paul that she believes that he's stronger than he thinks he is.... ![]() Gosh, today seemed like a bunch of scenes that were all the same, with a little tweaking. Especially the Bonnie/Dusty scenes and the Rosanna/Paul scenes. Now, while I initially liked Bonnie and Dusty, today was really not their best day! And hold onto your hats, previews for tomorrow show Brad at Al's with some woman, giving her what looks like a jewelry box, while Vienna, in true slapstick form, is squatted down behind the counter, spying on them. ![]() THEN we see Katie, still in her robe, etc, looking at some jewelry and whining, "Oh my God, he's having an affair!" FTLOG, what kind of time frame is this??????

I enjoyed ROSANNA and EDNA....but the rest of the show gave me a headache. Of ALL of the Katie-whipped men that has graced the Oakdale scene....I could NEVER BELIEVE BRAD cheating on KATIE. It looks like another tough hour to sit through. |

I was busy working today while it was on and I think I looked at the screen once or twice and spaced most of what I was listening too although it was hard to ignore Paul yelling. Although how did I know to look when Damian was shirtless Nothing made me want to look at any of the scenes later.I'm interested in the TomMargo stuff tomorrow. The drama surrounding Katie

Isn't it odd how a person just somehow knows when to look at the screen when something like a shirtless Damian is on? I hope Patty got to see that.

I am SOOOOOO tired of Paul twisting the truth around to make himself look like the the victim or innocent in all this. Also tired of his continuing insane jealousy which is what caused him to lose Meg this last time. He says he can't go back to Oakdale EVER because Meg has turned everyone against him. Hello, Paul! You've done this all by yourself! Meg's just saying what everyone already knows! What Paul needs to do of course is go back give Eliza back to Meg and go into some kind of institution because he's not living in the real world. I wish Rosanna was not so patient and understanding but maybe since she says she's doing all this to help Eliza, and NOT for Paul she might be worried about Paul's state of mind and how it would effect Eliza's safety. I agree that the dialogue is repetitive. i know CG and JP don't expect viewers to tune in every day so explain everything as if to someone watching for the first time. Also I think there's lame attempt to ballance the on location scenes with the studio ones. Anyway, these Wisconsin scenes are missing the excitement that would come from Paul and Ro being on the run, maybe in disguise instead of just sitting still on the farm. So keeping Paul and Eliza in hiding, even with the talent of Allyse Beasley is . Would have been better for Edna to call the police and catch Paul off guard but maybe use local law enforcement so not disrupt the coop. But in the end (if we ever get there) looks like Dusty and Bonnie will come to the rescue.

You are sooooooooooooo right about this. But I'll go one step further - this whole SL is repetitive. Let's see, Josie/Paul/Meg/Barbara/Dusty. Just change Josie to Ro and add Bonnie and voila, repetition #4974
