What it boils down to is Edna telling Paul that she's not lying and telling the police that the baby is her grandson, but she's not going to take any of the blame for this kidnapping. In fact, she said that Rosanna has to leave with Paul and Eliza, and that Rosanna can't even take the time to get her purse. So Paul, Rosanna and Eliza take off, but..... Dusty and Bonnie get to the co-op and so does the sheriff. Dusty's putting pressure on Edna to tell him where Paul went, but Edna's not saying a word. Then Bonnie sweet talks Edna and Edna says that Paul went South on 61. Dusty and Bonnie get going.... Now, in Oakdale, Kim wants Brad and Katie and Henry and Vienna to come to WOAK and finish up taping for the story about Brad and Katie getting pregnant. Henry says he can't do it, but Vienna says she has to, for Katie.... The taping starts, and at the end, Katie faints and is taken to the hospital. The baby's okay, but Katie needs to be on bedrest for the rest of the pregnancy. Vienna swears that she'll be with Katie every minute, and she calls Henry and tells him that Katie needs him, so Henry picks up some flowers and comes to the hospital, to be there for his best friend. Naturally Katie has to do some whining, but in the end, Henry says that happiness comes and goes, but friendship is forever... Back at WOAK, Vienna and Brad finish up taping, and then Brad says that since Katie won't be able to work during her pregnancy, Kim should remember that he's available. Kim says that the format works best with 2 people, male and female, so then Brad volunteers Vienna for the job, and Vienna says okay and Kim says they'll do some test tapes to see if there's chemistry. Paul and Rosanna and Eliza don't get far when the car breaks down again. Neither Paul nor Rosanna has any money, and Eliza is hungry and crying. Paul has Rosanna get behind the wheel and he pushes. Finally he says he can't push anymore, and a good thing, too, as it looks to me as if the car is about a foot from a tree. They end up going to a cafe and talking the guy into hiring Paul as a dishwasher, after giving the owner a tall tale about being laid off in Detroit. The baby drinks a bottle of milk but is still crying, so Rosanna picks up a guitar and serenades the baby, putting her to sleep and making a fan of the cafe owner. He tells them they can spend the night in a room in the back of the cafe, with a cot in it. Dusty and Bonnie are stopping at motels asking about Paul and Eliza, with no luck. Then, Bonnie feels sick and throws up, and just keeps feeling worse and worse, so Dusty tells the motel owner that they're going to need to check in. Although Bonnie tells Dusty he doesn't have to take care of her, you know Dusty HAS to, so he tucks her in gently, and Bonnie tries to At the hospital, Katie learns the news about Vienna and Brad possibly doing a show, and she's happy about it. Henry, not so much, the old green-eyed monster is at work, big time. In order to spare Katie stress, Vienna tells Henry that it's time to go.... Brad's got Katie home and settled in bed and bringing her food... he's worried that with him working, he won't be able to stay at Katie's side every second. Already today there's been people, Brad and Vienna, talking to Katie's stomach..... This is not gonna be pretty... Kim's really hot to trot to make the test tape of Brad and Vienna, and so Brad's got to go to the studio, even though he doesn't want to leave Katie, but she tells him to go. Henry and Vienna are arguing, well, Henry is, about Vienna and Brad working together. He asks how much they have to do for Brad and Katie, anyway... Vienna calms him down with the promise of sex, but before they can get into it, Kim calls and tells Vienna to come to the studio. So Vienna leaves, after telling Henry how much she loves him. Later, both Katie and Henry, separately, watch Brad and Vienna on tv... Katie's happy and Henry's sad... I wonder if Cady M has it written into her contract that she gets to sing during a certain number of shows.
