The guy who owns the restaurant where Paul and Rosanna spent the night, who seems to be kind of smitten by Rosanna, has fixed their car. :biggrin He's also put out fliers saying that Rosanna's going to be playing the guitar and singing at the restaurant that night. Paul immediately gets belligerent, but Rosanna quickly calms Paul down and tells the guy that she'll be glad to sing. Of course, she really intends to leav town with Paul and Eliza. :hmm

Jack's trying to get Barbara to let him put a tap on her phone, but she refuses, and try as he might, he doesn't get her to agree. He tells her, though, that if she does anything to help Paul, he'll "come after you, too!" :smack (By the way, Colleen ZP looks gorgeous today, and her nightgown and robe are beautiful! :2thumbs )

Paul tells Rosanna that he doesn't want her to be with him when he gets arrested. He wants her to go back to the co-op and ask Edna to forgive her, but Rosanna says that Edna will never let her move back there. Paul shrugs and says well, whatever you end up doing, I hope you're happy.... :rolleyes (Boy, he sure sounds like he gives a damn...NOT! :cuss ) So Paul leaves...

Bonnie's made a quick recovery from the flu, and wakes up to find Dusty sitting in her bed next to her, fully clothed, and sound asleep. :shutup She wakes him up and asks him what he's doing in her bed, her room. Dusty says, "watching you puke." :lol Bonnie calms down and thanks him for taking care of her and they leave. Bonnie's starving and a guy directs them to a restaurant where they can get breakfast. Of course, you know it's the same restaurant where Paul and Rosanna were. :hmm They're standing in the restaurant looking around when Rosanna comes in. Dusty asks her if she's Rosanna Cabot and she denies it, saying everybody has a double, but then the owner comes in and says, "Oh, Rosanna, there you are..." :shutup So the sh&& hits the fan, and Bonnie and Dusty get her to tell them that Paul is heading for Canada. What gets her talking is when Dusty reminds her how she at one time tried to help Jennifer get her baby back. He says this is the same thing... :muchlove

Rosanna asks Dusty to give Paul a chance to do the right thing, to bring Eliza back. She thinks that she may have gotten through to Paul. Bonnie puts the kibosh on that idea, though, and they end up saying they're taking Rosanna to the police station in Oakdale.... :smack

Paul calls Barbara from a pay phone and tells her that he wants to bring Eliza back to Meg, but first he wants Meg to agree to tell the police that she had given Paul permission to take Eliza out of town. He wants to hear Meg tell him she agrees, and he wants to hear it from Meg. So he tells Barbara to get ahold of Meg and that he'll call Barbara in an hour. Now Barbara has to figure out how to get Meg alone, away from Holden and Lily.

Damian, recovered from the flu, and not feeling welcome at Holden and Lily's anymore, has gone back to the Lakeview. BArbara gets him to help her, and he calls Lily and tells him that he needs her to bring Meg to the Lakeview, and that Holden can't know. Lily agrees and makes up a story about paint and needing to pick out a color, and that she thinks it would do Meg good to go with her. So it all works out, and Holden stays clueless. :devil

At the Lakeview, Barbara tells Meg what Paul wants, and although Meg can't believe Paul's nerve, she wants Eliza back, so Barbara calls Paul at the pay phone (she's written down the number) and puts Meg on the line. Meg yells at Paul for awhile, but then says fine, she'll agree not to prosecute him. Now Paul decides that he wants a signed statement saying that, so Meg agrees, but says that Paul has to bring Eliza to the police station to get the statement. "If you want your get out of jail card, that's where it'll be..." :clap

Now Lily goes home and tells Holden, "I lied!" :lol :lol Needless to say, when Holden hears what happened, he's angry, and especially that Damian is involved and knew, and he didn't... :smack

Damian and Meg go to the police station and tell Jack that she signed a statement saying she wouldn't press charges against Paul. Jack is furious and insists that he's doing things his way and that Paul WILL be arrested... :smack While they're arguing, Paul walks in with Eliza, and before you know it, Mother and child are reunited.... :muchlove Jack starts to arrest Paul, but after quite a hesitation, Meg pulls out the signed statement she made, and tells Jack that she gave Paul permission to take Eliza out of town. :lol Paul is grateful, Jack is furious, and just then Dusty and Bonnie and Rosanna walk in and Dusty is furious when he learns that Meg isn't having Paul arrested. :biggrin :devil

Lots of holes in the story today as far as time goes, but that's par for Oakdale. :lol Other than that, I found the show to be interesting and entertaining. Of course, it could have been in large part because I was so glad to have the kidnapping part of this story over with, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the ripple effects of having Rosanna back in Oakdale. :2thumbs

Previews for next week look good, Parker getting into a fight at the prom, Craig saying, "your sister robbed me blind" and Carly running into Craig with a car.... Hunter saying that he had just learned the man who he'd thought was his father...wasn't... now, what's that all about? :hmm

I have to wonder if Larry will turn out to be Hunter's father. That would make Hunter and Ali siblings. I have to think Larry was brought back for some reason other than to reconcile with Ali. :hmm

Thank goodness Meg has her baby back. I was so tired of that story. Any story putting Meg or Paul on the frontburner is so boring.

I tell you, Linda, these family relationships are getting tougher and tougher to keep straight, what do those writers think, anyway? :lol :lol I agree with what you said about bringing Larry back... :hmm

I think the ONE thing I am happiest about after this episode....ROSANNA is back in town.

ELIZA...if she is not OLD ENOUGH to RUN AWAY from her parental units...then she is going to be in trouble.

I used to enjoy watching MEG...but when ever she is on the screen I have to increase the volume to such a HIGH level and I still wonder what she is jabbering about.
