At the police station, Dusty's still trying his hardest to get Paul thrown in jail.  Jack would love to see that happen, too, but Meg sticks to her promise not to have Paul arrested. So, Dusty and Bonnie end up back at The Lakeview, Paul goes to Fairwinds, after a tender talk with Rosanna, Damian takes Meg and Eliza out to the farm, and Rosanna and Jack catch up, in the interrogation room. Rosanna really wants to see Carly, but is worried that Carly will be angry because Rosanna came back to the US and didn't tell Carly. Jack insists that seeing Rosanna would be a dream come true for Carly, especially after the rough year she's had, so Rosanna asks Jack to call Carly, which he does. Craig's at Carly's and he's gotten his first look at the logo that Carly's been developing, and it blows him away!  He tells Carly that he wants them to become partners again, but she says that didn't work out well before, and she's not putting herself through that again. Then Carly gets Jack's call, and rushes down to the police station!  After the sisters have a loving reunion, Rosanna says she'd really like to have a drink. Jack and Carly lock eyes, and Carly tries to let Jack know not to worry about her getting drunk.  So Carly and Rosanna go to The Lakeview and run into Dusty, who barges right in and starts grilling Rosanna about why she wasn't out to get Paul... Carly and Rosanna both say that maybe Paul has really changed...  Then Carly tells Dusty to buzz off, she wants to catch up with her sister.  So a snarly Dusty takes out his frustration by going kind of caveman with Bonnie, who isn't going to take his attitude...  Next thing you know, Dusty's at the farm, staring at Damian holding Eliza. Meg lets Dusty come in, and tries to talk soothingly to him, about how much he's helped her, but she never asked him to be her hero.... Dusty isn't liking the way that word keeps getting thrown at him, and not in a real good way.  Meg is convinced that Paul has learned his lesson, and that he'll never take Eliza again. She feels that having his daughter taken from him is the worst punishment he could have... Rosanna starts to learn more from Carly about what a big part Craig has been in her life, lately, and she's not happy about it. Especially when she finds out that Craig is now the guardian of Parker's trust fund.  Carly wants to give some of Parker's trust fund back to Rosanna, but Rosanna absolutely refuses to even consider that. Craig strolls into the police station and asks Jack what the deal is with Rosanna... he can't believe she's actually healthy and back in town. Jack kind of snickers and tells Craig that he bets Craig is scared, but Craig poo poo's that idea. Jack tells Craig, though, that he should start looking for a new friend... Carly wants Rosanna to stay with her, but Rosanna says no, she doesn't want to risk seeing Craig, and she doesn't think that no matter what Carly says, she can keep Craig away from her. Rosanna says that she needs to do a lot of thinking about a lot of things, and leaves, after promising Carly she's not going to disappear.... Carly promptly polishes off both her drink AND Rosanna's and then goes home..  Meanwhile, Paul's back at Fairwinds being snarky with poor Barbara.  She leaves and he's at loose ends when... Rosanna walks in. Paul is really happy to see Rosanna, and she feels comfortable asking him if she can spend a few days at Fairwinds.... he says of course, heck, take an entire wing if you want.  Craig gets to Carly's as she's trying to decide whether or not to tear up the check for $10,000 that Craig's given her for her logo work.... Craig asks her if Rosanna's there, and Carly can't believe that Craig would actually think Rosanna would want anything to do with him.  She tells Craig that he's the reason Rosanna isn't staying with Carly. Craig says that just shows that he and Rosanna really need to talk and clear the air between them. He wants to apologize, and says that if he gets a chance, he'll also apologize to Gwen... He asks Carly if they can go back into business together IF he can make peace with Rosanna.... Carly says that first of all, he's never going to make peace with Rosanna, and second, she's never making another deal with him. Then she tells him to leave. He does and you can see by Carly's face that she's really wondering if she did the right thing.  Dusty's gone back to The Lakeview and walks up to Bonnie, who's drinking at the bar. He orders a bourbon, and it looks like he's going to sit down with Bonnie, but then she makes a snide little comment about him being the hero, and he cancels his drink and stalks off...  In a few minutes though, there's a knock on the door of his suite. It's Bonnie, with a bottle of bourbon. He says he's not good company, and she says that he never is. They drink a toast to not hating each other... Damian's helped Meg give Eliza a bath, and they've done more bonding... he tells Meg that whenever she needs somebody to talk to, she knows where to find him, and leaves....

I hate to FF through this soap but I just could not handle DUSTY & the cop station....DUSTY & BONNIE....DUSTY & CARLY....DUSTY & MEG....maybe if DUSTY got a hairscut and walked around with his shirt off then I might "listen" to him. CARLY and ROSANNA was a great moment...and I just wished it lasted longer. |

This was the first show in a long time I really enjoyed. I was bored with Paul/Ro, Paul/Meg and Damian/Meg.  The jury is still out on Dusty/Bonnie. I think they have potential but I'm not sure that the writers know how to write for them.This was the first day I enjoyed Rosanna since her return. Loved her scenes with both Jack and Carly. The time with Carly was too short but hopefully there is much more coming there soon. I thought you could see some of Rosanna's inner fire again whereas zen Rosanna with Paul is boring. I'm anxious for her to find out how much trouble Carly is in and think that will really bring her back to life. Loved hearing Carly admit how much it still hurts that she lost Jack. And I liked Jack's obvious concern when he saw Rosanna suggest they get a drink and Carly trying to signal it would be okay. Loved seeing Craig nervous about Rosanna's return and look forward to their first meeting. I'm curious where their story will go. The show is promoting Rosanna's return, and Craig is featured in their promos but I have no idea what the actual plan is. Loved seeing Carly stay strong and kick him out. Craig and Carly need to stay as sparring partners. I want Craig and Rosanna to start out as enemies but if they have the chemistry that Hunt and Cady had, I wouldn't mind them eventually not being able to resist their attraction. That was really the only time I enjoyed both characters. Loved Jack/Craig and for once seeing Craig squirm rather than Jack and seeing Jack written with humor. I'm sensing Craig may start to get a little tarnish on his halo and that would make him far more interesting to me. |

There was definitely some good stuff yesterday, and some hope for future story.  I want Rosanna to get her fire back and her strength, and, she's obviously an intelligent woman, so I want her, without turning into some kind of shrieking banshee, take care of "business".  And yeah, I liked Craig and Jack yesterday, it was definitely different. It's pretty darned obvious who the weak links are, eh?

With Cady now singing on the show, maybe Rosanna could perform at Metro like Lily did back in the day when she and Damian opened their own club. I certainly don't see her working with anyone at Worldwide. Unless she and Paul start some new venture.
