 I'm shocked that for once ATWT/CBS is actually doing some promos and they are promoting Rosanna's return. I haven't seen it airing yet, but they put this promo on their official YouTube page yesterday:



They also have a banner ad that so far has been on SID's site and MD. It also plays up the Craig issue.

Also this seems to be the new logo:

It looks better when the globe is actually spinning. I understand there is a new opening in the works so I'm guessing this logo is part of that.

It seems the PR firm they hired is doing some work :devil

 I like it. I like it ALOT. I think Linstrom & McClain will be dynamite together and I am hoping this stuff paves the way for a certain super couple to reunite when a certain brilliant actress returns from mat leave.

 Well to add to this....ATWT has a full page ad in the new TV Guide. It's Rosanna's face with Carly and Craig on the side...says "Half of her wants a fresh start half of her wants what she left behind. Also, "Rosanna Cabot is back in Oakdale, and things are really heating up. Tune in all summer long for new loves, old flames, and more than a few surprises." :biggrin

It also features the new logo you've pictured :2thumbs

 That's terrific that it's in TV Guide too. I would guess it will appear in the soap mags too. The print ad is basically the same as the banner ad. Wonder when the promo will air on TV?

I'm really happy to see the show doing some promotions and hope it pays off and they continue promoting the show, especially returns of popular ATWT characters.

I'm really anxious to see the new opening. It sounds like it's not just a logo so I'm curious how they will do the photos and hope they learned their leason about pairing people together in the opening shots.

There are new bumpers coming too so hopefully those show up soon. These have been around for close to a year now even though they reconfigured them.

Plus they are redoing the official site. Hopefully they make it a little more user friendly and don't have quite so much flash and then actually update it.

Now if they would only do something aobut the writing. :devil

 Where did you hear it's probably not going to be just a logo? I hope that if they're using the actors that they will at least make more than one version. I hated it when only a couple of actors appeared in the last opening (even though I was glad Van finally appeared in the opening because he was never in the blue opening).

And I, too, hope they won't have characters appear together in the opening. It's easier to replace someone who left when they were alone in the opening (not like the last opening when they couldn't show KMH anymore because Grayson had left the show).

New bumpers too? That's cool. lthough I do like the ones we have now.

 There was a set tour done around the time of the luncheon by some people and they learned about the new opening and bumpers. They got the impression it was not just a logo. I guess we'll have to wait and see but it should be coming soon. LOL They probably don't want to announce it after the debacle announcing it the last time. :lol

 I just hope that when they have actors in the opening, they will make more versions so all actors can appear in the opening. And I know usually it's only actors on contract, but I think they should make an exception for actors like Jake Silbermann, Julie Pinson, Ewa da Cruz, Mick Hazen, etc. They're recurring, but often have more airtime like some of the contract players.
