Advanced Member Posts: 29,326 Group: Members Member #2 Joined: August 31, 2008	Rosanna's talking with Paul, and he's trying to get her to agree to stay living at Fairwinds, but she says nope, she's going to get a job and find her own place, so she thinks that maybe she could wait tables at Al's Diner. After all, she's learned that she can do just fine without a bunch of money... So off she goes, stopping to visit Carly, first.... Carly's already up but not at her best, she's at loose ends, and a visit from Craig doesn't do anything to improve her mood. She tells Rosanna, though, that she really thinks Craig has changed, for the better, but that since her entire family hates Craig, she can't be friends with Craig, because she doesn't want to lose her family.... Paul has a plan, that takes him to The Lakeview, where he snitches a key card from another poor, unsuspecting maid. This gets him into Craig's room, and from there it's a short trip to Craig's laptop and then to Craig's bank account, and from there he manages to transfer what is apparently all of Craig's money, which used to be Rosanna's, I guess, into a different bank account. I assume that it's Paul's account, since does Rosanna even have a bank account, and if she does, would Paul know the number? Paul's almost caught when Craig gets to the door and starts going in, but is stopped by Rosanna, who wants to talk. He invites her in, but she wants to talk someplace less private, so they go down to the lounge, and Rosanna says that she still doesn't trust Craig, but Carly seems to, and Craig seems to be the only person that Carly will even come close to listening to, so for now, Rosanna's ready to try a limited peace with Craig. Bonnie's at Metro hard at work, boy, "I leave for a few days and I get sooooo far behind!" she tells Dusty, when he walks in. Dusty's there for a reason, he's got some of Bonnie's things that she left in the car... including her bra! So they have some silly, sexually charged banter about whether or not anything "happened" while they were together, and Bonnie says nope, cause if it had, Dusty would definitely have remembered. Damian's out at the farm again, and sees Meg going over the new custody arrangement she's had Bonnie draw up. She's giving Paul visitation with Eliza, with the possibility that that could increase. Damian admires her for doing that... Meg is in high saint mode... Dusty shows up and has flowers for Meg, but things go downhill fast when he switches to caveman mode and tells her she's crazier than Paul is for giving him any visitation with Eliza at all... then he grabs the custody papers, and says he's not letting her do it, but Damian walks in from upstairs and things calm down. Meg asks Damian to stay and takes Dusty outside, where she tells him that they're not good for each other anymore... a shocked Dusty asks, "You're breaking up with me?" Yep. But it's not because of Paul, it's because they see everything differently.... Dusty leaves, saying, "I won't let you go!" Damian tells Meg that she deserves to be treated better than Dusty treats her. She should be respected and treated with respect and waited on hand and foot... Meg thinks that would be just fine... Derek comes to see Bonnie at Metro and sees the bra that Dusty's left. This doesn't go well, and Derek asks what's going on... Bonnie said that nothing happened and how can Derek think it did, but Derek said well, you take off on a road trip with Dusty, minus your underwear... Carly goes down to Metro and gulps down a drink right before Craig walks in to tell her that he and Rosanna are now best friends. Carly's glad, but not convinced that it's going to work out. Then Craig gets a call from his bank and learns that his money has been transferred out, into Rosanna Cabot's account. (so I guess Rosanna DOES have an account and that Paul DOES have the number... maybe I missed something? ) Craig is furious and yells that the bank had better get his money back or he's suing them.... then he tells Carly that "your sister just robbed me blind!" Paul and Rosanna are both back at Fairwinds and a gleeful Paul tells Rosanna what he's done. He doesn't get the reaction he expected, though. She's shocked and angry and tells him that not only has he overstepped his bounds with her, he's given people the opportunity to see that he never sees Eliza again! She tells him that she's giving the money right back to Craig. Carly calls Rosanna and tells her that Craig's looking for her and why, and did Rosanna do it? Rosanna says she'll tell Carly all about it later, and then tells Paul that she's getting a migraine and the only thing that works is some holistic thing, so he goes off to get it for her. Of course, this is just a ploy to get rid of Paul so Rosanna can carry out whatever plan she's hatched up... What happens next is that Craig shows up, angry as hell and says that he can't believe she was robbing him blind right before telling him she was ready to make peace with him for Carly's sake. He accuses her of knowing all the time what she was planning, and setting things up, and she smirks and says "yes, and it worked!" At The Lakeview, Dusty and Bonnie sit together at the bar, telling each other about getting dumped. It's time for Maura to go on maternity leave. How many more times can we hear Carly and Craig have the same conversation? So, did Rosanna really plan this out, and manipulate Paul into doing that funds transfer?

And I am pleased that if Carly/Ro have a falling out before MW leaves, I think the basis is there for them to reconcile. Edited by cycworker, Jun 11 2009, 04:41 PM.

Member Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #465 Joined: December 8, 2008	While it would be great that Rosanna had this BIG plan to get her money back, I think she simply wanted Craig to think she planned the whole thing in order to protect Paul. He can't afford to be in trouble with the law and of course he's too crazy to care. As much as I am sick of CrazyPaul.....with Ro protecting him its a little easier to take. They might work as "just friends." That excuse of the migraine and needing a special drug sounds familiar like Ro used that ploy before against Paul when they were married. When Paul was on Craig's computer it looked to me like he was setting up a brand new on line account in Rosanna's name rather than using an existing one. It's clear tptb are trying to present Paul as misunderstood with many sides rather than the nutcase he's been for the last few months. While Carly says Paul is a sociopath and she doesn't trust him, and Dusty wants him locked up, Meg wants him to be part of Eliza's life and Rosanna recognizes his good nature. Well if we're supposed to believe that Craig has changed then maybe we can believe in Paul .....right after he STOPS doing crazy illegal things without thinking.
