So Paul comes out to the farm for a visitation with Eliza. It seems that nothing official has been arranged, so, since Meg won't leave him alone with Eliza, he's in the farm house with her, while Meg hangs out on the porch. That is, until Lily and Damian show up, and Damian whisks Meg off for an afternoon of relaxation and Lily goes inside to babysit Paul. Faith shows up to get some money for a movie, and there's a nice little back and forth between her and Paul, where she asks him why he took Eliza from her mom, and says that she knew that Paul wouldn't hurt Eliza, because he'd been nice to her and Parker when they were younger. ![]() Parker's trying to deal with Carly, who wakes up on the couch and seems to have completely forgotten about running into Craig with her car, and she keeps saying she must be coming down with a bug, because she feels so bad... Parker is horribly worried and knows that Carly's in bad shape, but doesn't know what to do. Carly breaks down and cries and swears that she won't ever take another drink, because the very thought of killing somebody is enough to scare her sober... She convinces Parker to go and do something with his day besides babysit her, so, reluctantly, he leaves... ![]() Rosanna has a little talk with Craig, who says that all he wants is for her to give him his money back and to tell Carly that he did something nice for Rosanna, despite what Carly did. Rosanna wonders what Carly did, but Craig says that will remain his secret. So Rosanna goes over to Carly's....And boy, the scenes with the sisters will really bring tears to your eyes, and showcase the talents of Maura and Cady, especially Maura, of course. Carly never actually admits that she's got a drinking problem, she just says she's been under a lot of stress, and is probably coming down with a bug... The sisters talk and come closer. Rosanna is really regretting having set up the trust fund for Parker, she feels that if he hadn't had that to fall back on, things might have gone differently, but Carly assures her that she has nothing to be sorry for. The sibs manage a few giggles talking about Jack's new wife in connection with a voo doo doll... Anyway, Rosanna leaves to transfer the money back to Craig, but promises she'll always be there for Carly, and tells Carly to be sure and remember that... ![]() Once Rosanna leaves, Carly goes into the kitchen and almost has a drink, but ends up going over to talk to Craig.... she tells him that once again he came through for her, despite what she did, and that he stayed her friend. He says he always will be... ![]() Faith ends up at Java with Parker, and they catch up a little bit, remembering how bad they thought their lives were back when, and Parker says that was nothing compared to his life now... ![]() Damian takes Meg out on a yacht or something, and he's got a picnic on board and a swimming suit for Meg. They go out to a little island and take a dingy to it and Meg is sooooo excited to see that Damian has packed pate'... They have an enjoyable afernoon, but when it's time to get back to the larger boat, they discover that the dinghy has drifted off... Meg thinks for a minute that this is Damian's version of "the car ran out of gas", but Damian is prepared with a walkie talkie and calls the coast guard for help, and also asks them to call Lily so she'll know they're going to be late. ![]() Meg starts telling Damian all about how she's not ready for a serious relationship, bla bla bla, and he responds that that's fine with him... Carly tells Craig that despite her DUI and despite having hit him with her car, all she wants is a drink. Craig tells her to 'think about something else', so she leans in and starts kissing him passionately. Craig Craig says, "you have no idea how much I want you right now, but I don't want to take advantage of you." He tells her that if she were to walk out the door right then, he's still be her friend, but Carly says that she doesn't want to leave, this is the only place she feels safe, and so they're back in each others' arms.... ![]() Rosanna runs into Parker at the mall, and they share a hug. Rosanna asks him about Carly, but Parker doesn't tell her about Carly's problems with alcohol. ![]() Meg and Damian are back at the farm, Eliza's asleep, Lily is glad that the two of them had fun, and says that Paul's visit with Eliza went just fine... Even though Lily says the right things to Meg and Damian, I caught an expression on her face, just a brief one, that says she might not be completely comfortable with them having a relationship... ![]() Rosanna tells Paul that Craig is not going to press charges if she returns the money... Paul says well, it's your money, you can do what you want with it... he's in a great mood because of spending time with Eliza... he thinks, though, that this living without a chip on his shoulder will take some getting used to... He also tells Rosanna that the way she's living now is a good example for him... he asks her what she gets out of it, and she says 'peace'.... ![]() Well, again, I was blown away by Carly and Rosanna, Carly and Parker, Craig and Rosanna and Carly, Parker and Rosanna... are you seeing a pattern here? ![]() In contrast, much as I like looking at Damian, and much as Meg has a body to die for, their scenes just kind of played second fiddle to the other stuff...

I was surprised how much I enjoyed the show!!! I was MEG/PAUL fan...but now I really like MEG and DAMIAN together. I found it a bit disheartening that LILY looked as if she was a little miffed by things. The slowest part of the day was the drifting dingy. FINALLY FAITH has returned!!!! The show was so good that I felt that I needed to see who was the director....and I have not cared too much about the credits in many months. It was nice to see my fave, HABIB AZAR in control of the day's activities. |

I loved the scene with Carly and Rosanna. It's a shame that Maura will be leaving soon for a few months because she and Cady or she and Jon have been the best parts of the show. It was really good to see Faith today. I had to wonder if TIIC will now try matching her up with Parker again. ![]() Meg + Paul Meg + Damian

It is too bad that Maura will be leaving just as Carly and Rosanna are reconnecting. But I am so over the alcohol thing so I am looking forward in a way to Carly getting shipped off to rehab or where ever... just to put an end to "Midnight Sun" et al. Loved seeing Faith, she DOES look more grown up. The baby who plays Eliza is SO cute. I like Damian so I don't mind him with Meg but they were kind of meh. Meh is ten times better than Dusty, however. |

I don't know, as much as I like Damian, I just can't stand Meg with him OR any other guy.... if I knew a woman like her in real life I'd think she needs an intervention....

I so agree with this. It's like the life gets sucked out of every character she plays next to. What is it about her though? I keep trying to figure it out and can't pinpoint it - I just know that Meg and whatever guy they have her with, I end up FF the tape. |

I loved the Carly/Parker and Carly/Rosanna scenes. I also loved seeing Faith and agree she has grown into a lovely young woman. I did have to wonder if it was intentional that they had her sitting in the scene with Parker. The last photo I saw of them, he was about a foot taller than her I'd like to see her as part of the teen scene and be a friend to Parker through all of this. He could sure use one.Craig/Rosanna are so much more interesting than the PRozac apiring of Paul/Rosanna. The island scenes were fine but not memorable at all. They seemed more like filler to me. If this is being done to make Lily jealous as it seemed to do, then fine because I still say their history needs to be addressed. If that's not the point, then get Damian away from Meg. Craig continued to annoy me. First off why didn't he tell Rosanna about Carly's drinking? Craig is being his usual selfish self in wanting to play hero to Carly and in turn, helping to enable her drinking. He promised to work with Jack, yet isn't doing that. And now he tells Rosanna that Carly needs her but won't tell her what is going on? Clearly Craig wants Carly dependent on him as he knows that is the only way he stays in her life. He'll cover up her drinking if it keeps her in his life. The hotel scene was pathetic. Did Craig forget that Carly kissed him when he said she should do something to distract herself from how much she wants a drink? Is he that desperate that he doesn't care if he's just being used? He already knows she'll never love him like she loves Jack. If he really cared about her he would have stopped her and just been her friend. |

I agree that Craig should have stopped Carly when she wanted to have sex with him, and also that he should have told Rosanna AND Jack about what happened with the car, etc. I tend to give him a little more slack, though, and believe that 1) he's fallen under the Magic Spell that is Carly, and 2) that yes, he wants to be her hero, because of #2.... Wrong, but..... that's Craigy....

I am really glad Carly is appreciating Craig now. I'm liking Craig so much lately because he is back to the kind of Craig I love--skirting the law, being crafty, but not being evil (not murdering or attempting to murder lately). I genuinely think he's in love with Carly, and I agree with you loves2turn, because who can resist Carly? I know, just biding my time for a future CarJack reunion. But for right now, I hope Carly can fall at least a little in love with Craig. |

While I agree that Craig is enabling Carly, so is everyone else who knows about her drinking and is covering for her. Craig, Parker and Jack have all done what they can. The rest is up to Carly. At least with Craig she has the love and support that she needs and he HAS proven himself to be a good friend. With Craig's history with Carly, not surprising he would not turn her away. He is just as desperate for love as she. But, that makes their lovemaking a way of avoiding Carly's alcoholism. I REALLY hope Craig's not stupid enough to take a drink in front of her because we know she'll just start up again! CarCraig makes more sense after hearing her explain herself to Rosanna. Those past drunken encounters were so ridiculous, the two of them as a couple had no substance. It can't possibly be long term but CarCraig works, either due to Carly's self-desctruction or in spite of it. Meanwhile on the Island of Malta, or wherever they were, Meg and Damian seemed totally out of place with their spray on tans and swimsuits. The scene needed something to liven up it up like an approaching shark, or a threat of a spy submarine. The best thing about them is it was much more calm and an escape from the Peg drama!

But that's not true. Craig and Parker are the only 2 that know she is still drinking. And Parker wanted to tell Jack but Craig told him no. Jack thinks she's going to AA and has stopped drinking. Parker has at least confronted her about drinking, something that Craig isn't doing. And it's been kept a secret from Rosanna who might be able to help. Covering up that she was drinking and driving is the worst thing they could do. Jack and Rosanna should know what is going on. Carly needs an intervention. Craig covering up the drinking is the worst thing he could do. |

Everyone in Oakdale who knows that Carly has been drinking heavily has been covering for her all along but in different ways. Even Janet helped to sober her up at one point, Jack did not tell Rosanna what he knew about her past drinking, and Parker and Craig have been hiding her more recent , criminal behavior. Rosanna might be able to help if she knew because she can be tough with CArly if necessary. The problem with Craig and Parker is they care too much about her to do any intervention that would be effective and have been too involved in the cause of her problem. At LEAST Craig tried to get Carly to go to AA but Parker hid the fact that she wasn't going. I think only Janet can do an intervention that would work because she's distant enough from her emotionally. She would just slap her on the face and yell "Snap out of it!"

Ha! I agree with that. It'd be nice to see her without a man for a while. I'm tired of seeing her bounce from man to man. I know I'm a broken record but I would STILL like to see her work out her relationship with Paul eventually.. instead of just saying "you're damaged, I don't want you.." To me that leaves both characters at loose ends.. |
