Riley leaves a note for Margo and with Casey telling him not to let the door hit him in the butt on the way out, so to speak, takes off... But when Margo and Tom come home and Margo finds out that Casey "suggested" Riley should leave, Margo gets a really scary look on her face and tells Casey he had no right to do that. :waiting Both Tom and Casey try and explain to Margo why Casey feels the way he does, but Margo isn't listening, and takes off to find Riley.

Casey's frustrated that Tom didn't stand up with him more, to Margo, but Tom tries to explain that until Casey's had a child, he can't know what Margo is feeling, and that Tom doesn't want to lose Margo to grief, and having Riley here is helping Margo, so that's the important thing. :hmm

Margo's tracked Riley down to Yo's, he's waiting for his bus to L.A. So the two of them have a really emotional/deep talk.... It ends up with Margo convincing Riley to come back home with her, she'll deal with Casey. Needless to say, when Casey sees Riley and Margo walk in, he's not happy, and in fact, goes to sit outside. Tom tells Margo to give Casey space, and he and Margo to into another room to talk. Riley grabs a couple beers and goes outside and offers one to Casey, who rejects it and rushes away...

Emily's at Memorial again, ragging on Susan about why she hasn't found Em's eggs yet. :smack Susan says that if they never find Emily's eggs, maybe it's an omen that Emily shouldn't have another child. After all, Susan says, having a child won't keep Daniel from growing up, or Emily from aging, or the magazine going cyber.... Emily responds by saying that when she got pregnant with Daniel, while she was happy to have a baby, she was focusing more on sticking it to Tom and Margo than she was on the baby, and she wants a chance to do it over. Susan says she understands, that's why she had Allison. :cry :muchlove

Alison and Hunter are right then at Java, watching some kind of movie on Hunter's ipod, the movie is Slime over Manhattan (or something.. :shutup ) and it turns out that Alison loves the movie. As they've watching it, Larry shows up. He talks with the two briefly, and invites Ali to come to Chicago sometime for a steak dinner, and to bring Hunter, and "the boyfriend".

At Memorial, Susan tells Emily that she's even gone so far as to call Larry, to see if he knows anything about the eggs, but that he hasn't called back. Just then, Larry walks up. Susan is shocked that he'd come to Oakdale just after a call from her, but he says that he also wanted to see Ali and that he's going to meet with some local colleagues. He says he'll do whatever he can to find out what happened to them.

When Larry leaves to go to The Lakeview, Susan goes back to work and leaves Emily with a stack of paperwork to go through. Emily finds a document, and heads over to the Lakeview to ask Larry about it. The document she shows him was signed by him, and it shows a transfer of her eggs froj Memorial to the hospital in Chicago where Larry works. Larry says he doesn't remember signing it, and that maybe it's a forgery. After all, back then, what they were doing back then was pretty cutting edge, and there was a big black market and maybe... maybe Emily's eggs were stolen. :eek Emily is stunned, and leaves....

Hunter gets a call from the nursing home where his mother is. She's agitated, and the nurse thinks that Hunter might be able to calm her down, so he and Alison head out there. When his mother sees him, she calls Hunter Tristan, and darling, and begs him to take her away from this horrible place. She says that she'll "keep our secret"... :hmm When she sees Alison, she reacts strongly, telling her to get out! The nurse thinks it would be best if Hunter and Ali leave, and they do. Later, they try to figure out who Tristan might be, and Hunter wonders if he might be his father... :hmm

Ali tells Hunter that maybe his mom, who was always so logical, is trying to give him a clue about some secret, like who his father is. Hunter says he has no desire to learn anything about his father, but Ali says that he seems to be a lot like his mother, and to be honest, doesn't he really want to find out what his mother's trying to tell him? :hmm Hunter admits she's right, but says that he wants Emily to help him. She says sure, and Hunter is happy and tells her that he's never met a woman like her, she gets him..... :biggrin

Casey walks in and needs to be with Alison, so she tells Hunter that she'll help him, but that right now she has to be with Casey. The big father hunt will start tomorrow... :smile

Emily takes the document back to Memorial and shows it to Susan. Emily says that Larry can't remember signing it, but Susan says that Larry's got a mind like a steel trap, and would never forget this. Emily asks what Larry would want with her eggs... :hmm :hmm :huh

At home, Margo and Tom talk about Casey's feelings. Tom says that Casey does love Margo, and that she was pretty intense with Casey earlier. She realizes how she acted, but gets tearful and tells Tom that she doesn't know why, but that she really needs "this".... :hmm

Today Margo kept talking about all of her gut feelings, and explaining everything she did by saying, "I'm a cop!" :lol :lol :lol Uh, yeah, and what a cop she is, right? :shutup

I have decided I think Tristan is actually Larry and HE is Hunter's father.

I am more INTERESTED in HUNTER's Hunt for his Father than any of these other baby stories. I hope TRISTAN is NOT LARRY.

I had some eggs quite a few years ago that just did not taste right...could they have been EMILY's EGGS??

MARGO is fine with me. I still think she may be wrong about RILEY...but I think CASEY has been a bit mean in this whole scenario. I do not blame CASEY for the way he feels....but I guess I would be happier with this whole storyline having less angst. I do believe that this is all going to blow up somehow in the TomHughes household.

Another good show today!!

I didn't see the show today, but if Tom really said that to Casey, then it was pretty cruel, IMO. If I recall, Casey did have a child with Gwen that died. I know that Casey really wasn't a father to the baby, but still it seems like a pretty cruel thing to say, IMO.

Hmmm, interesting, Karen. Yeah, Tom did say that, or at least words to that effect. I wish I still had the show recorded, I'd try and get the exact quote. They had quite a long segment between the two of them on that topic. It didn't even dawn on me about Casey having a child with Gwen, that died, although I will say that I think Tom was talking about the idea of raising a child to adulthood and then having the child die, which to me would be a much harder thing to go through than losing a child at birth, not that that wouldn't be hard. :cry

Oh, ITA that losing an adult child would be so much more difficult, but still...

Unfortunately, my TIVO's on the fritz, so I haven't been recording and have been relying on your recaps to know what's going on.

I think that if Larry is Hunter's father, then Emily is his bio-mom because one of her missing eggs was used to create the child that Hunter's "mother" carried and delivered. Hunter did say that his mom was into genetic research or gene mutations or something like that. Of course if that were true and he did it without Emily's consent.... :eek :puke Makes me wonder how many more children are out there that were made with one of Emily's eggs! :hmm

Hunter is like some kind of alien or the Scarecrow from TWOO! When Allison said how Susan will say one thing and mean something else he then asks Larry if he says one thing but means something else with this innocent tone of voice. From an average person it would have seemed biting or sarcastic. :wacko

Billy gave a great performance. He was so effective when he got angry over Margo's obsession with Riley. But this is nothing new with her. She's been doing this sort of thing ever since Eddie ten years ago. Then of course with Matt. Casey is justified in his anger because Margo supports these other guys while accepting that her son is a loser. :cry
