Oh puhlease!  Meg plays parental advisor to Damian today.  Meg and Eliza show up at The Lakeview to meet Damian for some fun time, and before Damian comes down, Dusty gets there and thinks that Meg's there to see him. Of course, when he learns that it's not him that Meg's there for, he covers well, but then goes upstairs to sulk....  When Bonnie shows up, because they've got an appointment to sign papers for Dusty's custody arrangement with Johnny, Dusty whines that he's not going.... so, to help get him in a better mood, she drags him off to Yo's to play pool. However, the table's set up for a ping pong tournament, and it just turns out that Bonnie is a ping pong maniac.. Dusty isn't....but he's sure he can whip Bonnie's butt. However, it turns out that Bonnie whips him thoroughly, and as she's trying to show him how to hold his paddle, he plants a big kiss on her, which makes her run out of Yo's, offended, or something..... It's tango time at WOAK for Brad and Vienna. Henry's at the studio, too, and when he sees Vienna's dress, he freaks, seeing her "half naked!"... he gets so irate that Kim actually throws him out of the studio.  So he and Katie are sitting in bed watching the show, when..... during a tango move, Vienna's ta ta's escape, and Brad, acting only out of reflex, grabs for them.... of course this is live.  Katie and Henry are shocked, but each of them tries to act like it doesn't bother them. We know better, though.  Later, Katie and Brad have an awkward conversation about what happened, and Henry, disguising himself as an irate female viewer, calls Kim to express his displeasure. It ends with Kim inviting him down to the studio. Now what?  Vienna comes home as Henry hangs up, and asks him if he has a woman in there with him, as she heard a "woman's" voice.  Noah tells Luke that he really wants to fly back to where he grew up and interview more people for his film, but he's out of money. He heads to work and Luke decides to get some funding for Noah, and goes looking for Damian. Damian is contentedly sitting at the mall with Meg, both of them eating ice cream. Damian is just so impressed with Meg and the way she manages to be a good mom to Eliza. When Luke tells Damian about Noah needing money, maybe a few thousand dollars, Damian writes out a check for $20,000!  Luke is really happy and gives Damian a hug and rushes off to tell Noah the good news. Meg is disapproving, saying that really, what has Luke done right lately... after all, he's been kicked out of school, and doesn't have a job. Damian says that Luke works with the foundation, but Meg says Luke only does that when he feels like it... she really thinks Damian has made a big mistake by giving Luke the money... Damian looks thoughtful... At first, Noah doesn't want to take the check, but Luke talks a good talk about how making this movie will help Noah straighten out his feelings about his father, so in the end, Noah takes the money. Meg and Damian are back at the farm, and Damian is "talking from my heart" about how much he cares for Meg and how he wants only to please her...  Meg apologizes for coming down hard on him earlier, but says that it seemed like he was trying to control Luke with money, and that's happened to her, and she hates it.... Damian swears that he never intended to do that, and hopes Meg will accept his apology... Vienna's at Katie's, apologizing to her and Brad for her wardrobe malfunction. Katie tells Vienna that, "next time...2 sided tape, it keeps your girls where they should be!" Suddenly Kim is on the air with a special announcement, and there with her is Geneva Swift aka Henry Coleman in drag, outraged at the nudity in the show, and calling for Vienna's firing...  Vienna is furious! She says that that frumpy witch looks familiar, and if she sees her again, she's going to rip her face off. By now, Henry's back home, and has hidden his disguise under the bed. Vienna comes storming in, ready for blood, and tells Henry about what happened. While she's in the bathroom, Henry gets a call from Kim, for Geneva Swift. Apparently the audience loved Ms Swift's appearance so much that Kim wants to make her a regular....  'Geneva' says she doesn't think that will be possible, but Kim says she can be very persuasive. When Henry hangs up, he wonders what he's gotten himself into. Noah and Luke are at Java, and Noah can't find the disk with the part of the movie on it, that he's done so far... neither one of them can imagine who would come in and take something like that... Dusty tracks down Bonnie, and by now she's far from insulted, and procedes to show him how she kisses a man when her heart is really into it... As they're standing in the mall locking lips, Damian and Meg appear, on their way to lunch, and Meg's jaw drops. But she tells Damian that maybe this is exactly what she needed to see...  Just when I think Meg can't get anymore annoying...she DOES!  Gosh, I do feel bad for that actress who plays Bonnie, having to make out with Grayson. Wonder if they do a lot of rehearsing? You just KNOW there's something sinister involved in the disappearance of that movie disk, right?  Henry in drag.... Looks like some good Carly stuff tomorrow.

I know it's been done a lot but I still enjoy Trent Dawson when he plays these goofy parts. His Geneva Swift was funny to me. I tell you I would rather watch Kim and Geneva then Brad and Katie or Brad and Vienna. Meg shouldn't give anyone any kind of advice much less parenting advice. It was kind of funny when Luke said he was a spoiled brat today. I've seen many posters on different sites call him that. Now who would want Noah's missing disc? Hmmmmm |

Meg is the wrong person to be analyzing Luke. Her words should have come from Lily or Emma or even Holden but since tptb are writing more scenes for Meg and Damian it had to be her to give the "advice"  With her comments and Luke admitting he's spoiled it's all about Luke, anyway. But how can she fault Luke for not making his own living while she doesn't seemed concerned about making her own? She may have a baby to care for but Eliza's old enough for daycare and nursing is supposed to be her calling, right?  I find Henry amusing as Geneva Swift but Kim seems so amused I wonder if she actually believes this person is a real viewer or knows that it's really Henry. I think it would be funny if Kim is allowing Henry to do this so he ends up embarrasing himself. If not then I'm afraid its yet another desperate attempt by Kim to liven up Oakdale Now. I'm not sure it's going anywhere but I like the way Bonnie makes Dusty smile. Dusty seemed to be good with Meg until Paul's name came up. Now with Bonnie he can relax and just have fun.

I am still strolling through the last half hour.... but with LESS BABY ANGST in the storylines...this soap opera has improved 100 times during this week! MEG has not been a bum. She is one of the few characters that we have the ability to follow to work once in a while. And since she has had more employment opportunities...of course she has lost her vast share of jobs. I welcomed her from the sideline opinions to DAMIAN....it did not bother me one bit. I LOVE HENRY....and MS. SWIFT.....and KIM was awesome, today!!! |

I just finished....the last scenes of the show.... and the UGLIEST ISSUE of the whole show was THE TRIO stating the UGLINESS of MS. SWIFT. THAT WENT TOO FAR! |

It is ironic that HENRY had so little time to CHANGE and I must say that MS. SWIFT was really beautiful...in a normal non-actor/star way. I still stand by the statement that having all THREE, KATIE, BRAD and VIENNA look and openly spoke about MS. SWIFT's looks was just a bit over the top. Listening to VIENNA lash out...was the most acceptable....but BRATIE stating such things...was still a bit too much. VIENNA had every right to use her tone only because MS. SWIFT gave VIENNA the same treatment. |
