Details of her character and who she'll interact with are being kept under wraps for now. This is beyond ridiculous. The problem with ATWT if not the cast but rather the writing! They need to write good stories for the cast they have and stop with all the newbies. This is just turning away viewers and these imported actors never help the ratings. Sounds like Goutman is trying to give all his buddies jobs before the show goes off the air

Advanced Member Posts: 4,468 Group: Members Member #46 Joined: September 2, 2008	She was my favorite "Beth" on GL but there is no reason to bring in a soap vet from another network when our own vets don't get nearly enough screen and story time as it is. No offense to the actress, but I have no interest in seeing yet another newbie actor take up time that would and should be balanced better among the current cast. At least she's talented, though. It could be worse, I suppose.

Administrator Posts: 20,208 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: August 30, 2008	I posted an update on my blog. She will be playing "Maeve" and it will be a two month role. That's all I know at this point. But I definitely want to interview her again and actually meet her in person while she's in NY.

Advanced Member Posts: 17,843 Group: Members Member #6 Joined: August 31, 2008	The timing makes me wonder if she'll be involved in the Stenbeck story since that story so far is also being kept under wraps and he doesn't normally stay all that long. Also based on CZP's tweets this week he just started taping yesterday. So timing would work. I wouldn't be upset if it actually makes for a good James story that involves Barbara. Much else and I'm not interested. I'd rather see the regular cast.

But it's sort of weird since she played on Paulina on AW who was married to Jake McKinnon! :) If we're going to have these short-timers I sort of wish they'd come back as Betsy or Frannie and introduce the next generation or have a story with the core families. These guest roles tend to turn out to be psychos and once they're gone, there is no impact.

I always thought James had some kind of baby factory going and that Jordan was created genetically. Hey! Maybe JAMES stole Emily's eggs!

I actually think that could be very possible (and I would love to see James torment Emily again instead of just Paul and BarBar), but with the whole "Riley looking for his birth father" storyline, I think Emily's story might tie into that (although it would be uber creepy if Riley continues to hit on Alison, who could biologically be his sister!!)
