Member Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #465 Joined: December 8, 2008	Carly has lost her pride and her soul! Carly was supposedly up all night making her dress and refuses to show Rosanna. When she pours coffee we can see her hands are shaking. (Of course she was probably drinking in her room and then passed out. ) Then Craig comes by wanting to take Carly to buy flowers for the wedding to bring to Margo's. Carly convinces Rosanna to go with him instead while she pours some vodka into her coffee from a bottle she hid under the couch. While at Margo's setting up the flowers Rosanna expresses concern about Carly's mood swings and questions whether she should be marrying Craig if she's not herself. Craig assures her this marriage is exactly what Carly needs. Carly goes out to Fashions to buy a new dress and later shows it to Rosanna pretending its the dress Carly designed. Rosanna is not a fool and at first giving Carly the benefit thinks it would have been impossible to create such a detailed dress with the beadwork in two days! Then Rosanna convinces a reluctant Carly to go shopping with her for Ro's bridesmaid dress since there's no time for Carly to make hers. But as soon as she realizes they're going to FAshions, Carly makes an excuse not to go in. She needs to buy Craig's wedding present! She gives Ro her credit card and says to buy what she needs. While in Fashions, Ro sees the exact same dress that Carly purchased on display in the window and was told by the clerk she sold the identical dress earlier in the day. Craig and Parker run into them and while Carly goes to the jewelry store with Parker, Ro and Craig go back to Carly's where she points out to Craig what Carly did and shows him the dress and then finds the price tag from FAshions stuffed into the cushion. Craig makes excuses saying it was the pressures of the wedding forcing Carly to drastic measures. She accuses Craig of always speaking for her and covering for her, watching over her. It was not like Carly to allow this. Then when Carly gets home Ro confronts her and Carly says she just copied the dress and then gets angry with her accusing her of ruining her wedding. Carly then is called away when Craig asks her to meet at Metro. Ro then bumps into a vodka bottle under the couch and looks throughout the kitchen and pulls out bottle after bottle which have all been stashed away. At Metro Carly finds a table for two. Craig has set up a romantic dinner since he says he never properly proposed to her. He brings out a big ring puts it on her finger and asks if she'll marry him and she says 'yes' and they kiss! Adam wants to be a cop? Over at Java Casey runs into Luke who's worried about Noah. His father is going to maximum security prison today. Luke asks what happened with Riley and Casey tells him how Margo knows he is an imposter but is still protecting him while Tom does not know. Then Casey asks Luke to tell Tom about the photo of the real Riley Morgan and how it looks nothing like the guy they know. Of course Casey asks he not tell Tom how he knows so Margo does not find out. Meanwhile at Tom and Margo's "Riley" announces he wants to look for a job and says he's interested in law enforcement. Tom thinks its a great idea given his military background but after he leaves Margo admits it won't be possible due to the extensive background check needed to become a cop! That made me think, wouldn't ANY job have the kind of background check that would expose Adam? So Adam's no longer into a music career. He wants a total fresh start which means totally new career! Luke finds Tom and tells him about the photo that looks nothing like the guy staying at his house so it proves "Riley" is a fraud. At the police station Riley and Margo talk about Hal and he says he liked the memoral to Hal displayed there and says how he misses him. When I heard that I realized it's the three year anniversary of his death. Nice of tptb to acknowledge Benjamin Hendrickson like that. Tom shows up and talks to Margo in private about what Luke said and that he had a friend in Armed SErvices fax him a copy of the real Riley's photo. When the photo shows, "Riley" covers nicely explaining how the photo shows how her used to look before he had to have facial reconstruction and he even shows them the scars on his chest from his skin grafts. Tom says he's sorry he doubted him. Margo figured Casey put Luke up to talking to Tom and confronts him. Casey can't believe how Margo wants to protect him. Later when Casey comes home Adam angrily accuses him of making things more difficult for Margo than he should considering her recovery from the shooting. Oh, well and I was so looking forward to "Riley" being exposed as Adam. If Adam is now a good guy then he should be out in the open and not hiding like a criminal. It's clear Carly's life has become all about putting on a facade. She thinks if everything looks normal, then everyone will not question her behavior and leave her alone! It's so sad and disturbing but Maura is doing a terrific job! Cady is also great at her reactions to all the craziness! Edited by RichB, Jul 7 2009, 11:03 AM.
