Member Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #465 Joined: December 8, 2008	Carly's going into the kitchen, not yet ready for the wedding looking in the oven for her vodka bottle. Rosanna, all dressed up and looking FINE walks in holding the bottle asking "Looking for this?" At Margo's Craig's looking over the flowers and going over every tiny detail with her. She jokes about his micromanaging and wonders why Carly's not doing this instead? She's also surprised there's no champagne, an alcohol free wedding. Craig explains he likes doing all this to make it easier on Carly and the lack of alcohol is just due to the kids attending. Meanwhile at Carly's Rosanna's getting in her face about the drinking. She tells Carly she found the bottle in the oven and Carly makes excuses saying she doesn't know how it got there and she was only opening the oven because she was going to bake cupcakes to make up for yelling at Sage. Rosanna doesn't buy this excuse and gets Carly to admit that she did stash the bottle in case of an emergency but she got rid of all the alcohol so must have been left by mistake. Then Ro brings out all the other bottles that she found around the house. Carly says she had forgotten about all those bottles but that it was from when she used to drink. Rosanna observes that she's noticed Carly acting strange ever since she moved in. Finally she admits that she slipped because of pressure from the wedding. Then Craig shows up and Carly asks Ro not to tell him she's been drinking again. Carly wonders why he's there because its bad luck. He said he doesn't care about superstitions, nothing's gonna spoil his day. He just came for Parker. Carly thanks Parker for always being there for her Craig notices the tension between Carly and Ro and asks Rosanna to make sure Carly gets to Margo's safely and meet them there. Over at Emma's Sage is concerned that Carly will go away after she marries Craig like she did when she left with Simon. Jack explains that Carly will not go away this time because Craig's not going anywhere and that Carly realized that after she left last time she can't be away from her kids. Sage is not convinced because her mom's behaving so weird lately. She bought her dress instead of making it and yelled at her. Sage is also certain that Carly still loves Jack. Craig, Parker and Johnny arrive at Margo's and Johnny's hungry. They don't have any food that he likes so Parker offers to take him to Al's for cheese fries! Craig has a gift for Margo, a frame so she can put a picture of Adam and display on her desk. He says he had a hard time after Bryant died and he had a picture of the two of them fishing that he liked to keep on his desk. It helped him so he thought it could help her. This was actually a touching moment between siblings. At Carly's Rosanna is still trying to convince Carly she has a problem. She says its clear she's in such pain she has been drinking herself into oblivion. She reminds her of the heredity factor that her father was a drunk and she's turning into him! If the thought of marriage is driving her to drink, then she shouldn't be getting married. Trying to understand the situation she says "I don't know if you drink because you're getting married or getting married because you drink!" Carly says CRaig has made things easier for her with the stress of being a single mom to three kids. Since Jack has been happy with Janet, she deserves some happiness too. Ro says her drinking in secret is not good and she needs to admit she's an alcoholic. Carly yells at her "I am not an alcoholic!" (and I swear it sounded like she had trouble saying alcoholic.) Ro lays all the bottles on the desk saying this proves otherwise and she has to stop Carly from killing herself! She will let her get married today but Carly has to deal with her problem tomorrow. Ro is starting the process by throwing all the bottles out in a shopping bag. Carly at first puts her hand on hers to stop her but then allows her to take it out but also asks her to leave instead of helping her get ready. Carly says she's too worked up from their argument and she needs to cool down and get herself ready and get to the wedding by limo. But she's not angry with her. So Ro leaves and as soon as she's out the door Carly takes out a mini bottle of vodka from her purse an chugs it down! AT Al's Johnny accidentaly squirts ketchup all over his yellow dress shirt and tie just as Liberty walks in. Parker's freaking about this cause it would upset Craig. She helps Parker suggesting they go to the Lakeview and get Johnny new clothes. Parker apologizes for his jealous behavior and they form a truce agreeing to not label their relationship but to just "be" At the wedding everyone's waiting for Ro and Carly. Jack thanks Craig for making Carly a better person . Craig assures Jack he will treat his new family much better than he ever treated his own. He has learned from his mistakes. (yeah, Craig, whatever ) Carly comes downstairs looking good but not exactly glowing. She looks at herself, ironically says "Here Comes the Bride" She looks in her purse and realizes she used up her vodka. She calls the limo company and makes sure they have stocked bar in the limo. In the limo she goes for the vodka like its the best stuff on earth! Ro arrives at Margo's without Carly. She tells everyone she's on her way and then on the patio she gives it to Craig. She accuses him of covering up for Carly's drinking. He is totally stunned and says he had no idea she was STILL drinking. She accuses him of allowing the drinking because it makes Carly into the kind of subserviant woman he wants in his life. Craig accuses her of making up stories about Carly because she hates him so much. Ro says she found at least a dozen vodka bottles all around the house. "Wake up Craig, she's an alcoholic!" She has an addiction and it doesn't stop just because Craig wants it to. While they're talking Carly shows and overhears how Ro exposed her drinking and she leaves in the same limo that brought her asking the driver to keep driving as she chugs down more and more vodka. Meanwhile everyone gets restless and leaves while Craig tries to reach Carly on her cell. She's not answering. Parker storms upstairs saying he knew his Mom wasn't gonna go through with it and Liberty goes after him. Craig paces expecting Carly to show in any minute. Overall it was a good show but the ending was pretty predictable. If Carly wasn't gonna be driving off, she would have collapsed during the ceremony. Nice that Craig and Margo had that moment about dealing with the loss of a child. Glad that Liberty and Parker found some middle ground as friends. Looking at previews it seems Carly's gonna go to Holden's for some comfort, This reminds me of the night she was to marry Jack and slept with Mike! Edited by RichB, Jul 9 2009, 12:26 PM.
