Henry asks why she's not working. She's trying, she says to get better so she can go back to Oakdale Now and Geneva can be gone. Henry says Geneva's good on the show and he likes her! Just then a couple of fans of the show walk in. You can tell they're fans cause they're wearing buttons that have pictures of Geneva Swift on them with glitter all around the edges. Vienna is furious at this and pushes them out the door! As a result she throws out her back. Over at Katie and Brad's she's reading a book about baby development while Brad listens to her belly for baby kicks. Then Katie feels a twinge and Brad immediately rushes her to Memorial! Turns out Dusty is suing Damian for the money Worldwide lost on the deal that fell through because of the stolen laptop. Bonnie tells Dusty Damian slammed the door in her face whle Damian tells Lily at her place about the lawsuit. Damian's gonna fight back of course and is furious since Dusty had broke into his room Damian's out to destroy Dusty and vice versa. Actually Dusty feels money from a lawsuit is not satisfying. Bonnie thinks it makes no sense for Damian to destroy one of his own ships so she decides to try to find out who did this. Meanwhile Lily and Damian decide to do the same. Bonnie arranges for the dockworker who spoke to the man who said he was working for Dusty (Paul) and a sketch artist to meet them at the Lakeview. Down at the docks Paul's wandering around, possibly planning his next move when he spots Meg and Pam, he friend from the hospital and Eliza in her carriage. Turns out the three are supposed to be taking a cruise on Pam's father's boat. She asks him what he's doing there and he covers by saying he's thinking of buying Eliza a boat. He's worried that they're there because of what happened to Damian's ship. Then a dock worker, though NOT the guy that Bonnie brings to the Lakeview, asks Paul, "Do I know you?" He manages to avoid him and it turns out a crack in the hull so no boat trip. Meg suddenly realizes Eliza's flushed from the heat and they rush back to Emma's. Meg's all worried about how good a mother she is and Paul says he always knew she was a good mother, he only did what he did so he could spend more time with Eliza. Lily and Damian look at the security camera at WW and see Paul looking through stuff and speaking in bad Italian accent. So, they've found their culprit. Then Dusty and Bonnie show. Damian" We know who took your laptop" Dusty:" We know who cut your fuel line" and shows a sketch of Paul. At Memorial Vienna is lying in hospital bed with a back spasm awaiting an MRI. Katie and Brad show up to see the Dr. Katie is sure its just the ligaments in her abdomon expanding but Brad's still worried. Then Kim calls Brad saying they have to retape a segment because they lost sound though its his day off. Katie tells him to go, she'll be fine. Henry runs into Brad and he asks Henry to keep an eye of Katie. Then sure enough Kim calls Geneva and Henry tries to make excuses but Kim reminds her of her contract so she says she'll be there. Katie tells him he should bail on Kim instead of Vienna but he's worried about Geneva's career and disappointing her fans. Katie goes to Vienna and makes excuses for Henry not being there but Vienna is sure Henry's having an affair! At WOAK Brad and Kim are waiting and he thinks they should just drop her but Kim says she's a ratings rock and they will ride it as much as they can. Then when Geneva finally shows, out of breath, Kim announces that since they had to reshoot they're gonna do something new and then she tells the stage manager that whatever happens to keep shooting. Then she sits between G and B and announces to the audience today's show is about....wait for it.... SEX AFTER 40! Brad of course laughs and noticing Geneva's sweating accuses her of hot flashes and then jokes how can this work, "I've never been over 40 and you've never had sex." Geneva's response is that she is as familiar with the "sensous arts" as any woman. Sex is wonderful but belongs in the bedroom late at night behind closed doors. After 40 women know what they want. Then she roars like a cougar. She says she's not a cougar, she's a lioness. "Kim let me hear you roaaar!" And Kim actually roooars back! Then when its over, Kim says women all over Oakdale will be roaring! The Brad the Arrogant accuses Geneva of having the hots for him and that's why she keeps coming back on the show, and he turns her down. Then Henry remembers Vienna so Geneva has to rush out. Still dressed as Geneva he runs through Old Town and calls Katie who orders him to get there STAT. Next thing you know he runs to Katie and Brad's to change. (Guess he was closer to their place than to the Lakeview) Right away he starts to change when...wait for it...Brad comes into the room and sees Geneva starting to undress. Brad asks why "she" is there and she says Brad was right and she DOES want him. "If loving you is wrong, I don't wanna be right, the heart wants what it wants!" Geneva gets the message across and Brad asks her to leave. So Henry must have found somewhere else to change cause he shows at their room at the Lakeview and Vienna's there. The MRI showed it was only a back spasm. She asks what happened and he makes up excuse about a woman dying in his arms. Then she kisses him and asks why he's wearing lipstick. He says it must have come off he woman when he gave mouth to mouth. Vienna and Henry watch the show and she become so furious she insists she will go back on the show tomorrow! Katie tells Brad that everything's fine with the baby and Brad tells Katie what happened and says Geneva's gone too far. He goes to WOAK demanding Kim that she fire her or he will sue the station! Katie calls Henry and tells him his charade has to stop. Henry says as long as Vienna wants to be on T.V...Geneva stays! Dusty and Damian, meanwhile are ready to kill Paul for making them look like fools. Lily and Bonne laugh at the whole thing but remind them that the police can handle this and that Paul will probably behind bars due to his history. Dusty though wants to go to MEg to tell her himself what Paul did. Bonnie and Lily have a drink and they discuss how both men basicaly went to battle over Meg. Bonnie worries that he's trying to get Meg back. Lily thinks Meg will not go back to Dusty and tells her not to give up on him. She would be good for him though he may not be good for her. At Emma's Dusty tries to talk to Meg but Paul the Protector proclaims, "Meg doesn't want anything to do with you or Tweetledumber." This angers Dusty enough to meet Damian at the Lakeview and say change of plans. No going to the cops. He wants to turn the tables on Paul and take care of him themselves. Paul's too smart, always gets away with things by getting rid of evidence and falls back on his insanity. Damian agrees and with a handshake an Unholy Alliance is formed. Guess I can't blame dumb and dumber for not trusting the justice system. The OPD hasn't been very effective. But these vigilantes haven't been too successful either. Looking at previews for next week we see Dusty running after Paul in a warehouse and then a big explosion, with Meg watching through a window. Also Jack, Craig and Janet are surrounding Carly in an intervention (FINALLY) Looking Edited by RichB, Jul 11 2009, 10:19 PM.

Member Posts: 228 Group: Members Member #465 Joined: December 8, 2008	I think what bothers me the most about the Geneva Swift storyline is NOT Trent's performance but the way Kim is so goofy the way she uses Geneva on the show. Stupidly she gives an opportunity for Geneva to say whatever and she's thrilled when Brad responses in some chauvanistic way. It would maybe work if Brad could come across as intelligent but in this case he's a buffoon. Plus those goofy fans are so unbelievable. The best part of the story is Henry's attempt to impersonate a woman and hide it from everyone. But I'll be glad when Henry's charade is exposed. It would put more bite into the story if it gets Kim and WOAK in trouble.
