Emily's keying into Hunter's apartment with the help of the super/landlord hoping to find some clue as to where he has gone. When she gets in she finds him hidden under the covers covered by his own clothes. Emily starts "mothering" him checking his temperature asking if he's eaten and he rejects it all. He doesn't want anything to do with her. She insists she just wants to be his friend, not mother but to let her take him out to lunch. He says fine as long as she doesn't talk about their "connection". Meanwhile Alli's visiting Larry and is furious with him for fathering a child and not telling anyone and staying absent from his life like he was with hers. He was just selfish and never loved anyone but himself! Larry tries to explain saying how Aurora Hunter wanted a child badly and nothing worked and when he provided the fertilized eggs, she asked that he not be involved any further. He also spins it to his advantage saying how he wanted to help create a life and help a woman he cared about. Now he wants a chance to get to know his son and makes things right. Alli says Hunter took off and Larry wants to go find him with her help. Emily then calls Alli telling her that Hunter was in his room and was not handling things well. She tells her she has asked Susan to join them at lunch so she can tell her the news and asked Alli to join them as well. Alli tels Larry and he invites himself along too. Carly wakes up in the hospital to the sight of Craig smiling at her. She is still weak and her throat's bothering her. He explains that they had to pump her stomach so she wouldn't get alcohol poisioning. Now the worst is over and he will be there to take care of her. He apologizes for pressuring her into the wedding too soon. She swears to him this will never happen again. Carly says he's all she needs but could he get her out of the hospital uh, yesterday so she can see her kids. Craig reminds her she has to think of herself right now. At Emma's Jack has just put Sage on the bus for camp and Parker's horseback riding with Liberty. Janet feels Parker needs the distraction and hopes he and Liberty will be starting over as only friends. Rosanna shows up to ask Jack for help to get Carly into a rehab program. Janet is annoyed at this "we" since she feels Jack's first reponsibility is to his own family especially his kids. But Ro emphasizes its because of his kids that Jack needs to help Carly. Ro leaves and Jack explains to Janet that he just needs to help Carly with this rehab thing. She feels her problems are a bottomless pit and he's just getting sucked in. He explains he doesn't want to but that after all the stress over Carly he'll really need Janet to come home to. Ro and Jack show up in the hospital room and Ro's brought flowers. Carly apologizes to all saying she's learned her lesson. She was just stressed and overwhelmed over the wedding plans. Ro's not buying it saying CRAIG took care of all the details and tells her to face the truth, she's an alcoholic! Carly: "You're my sister. I don't need you coming her and calling me names!" She says No!No!No! to treatment but Craig agrees with them and Carly suddenly accuses him of turning on her and that they are all ganging up on her and she will not let them run her life! Ro and Jack explain that they love her but that she has a disease and they want her to get better. She has to admit to this. Also Parker and Sage are worried and she should be 100 percent when SAge gets home from camp. Then the doctor shows up and while he talks with Carly, Craig speaks with Ro and Jack in the hall asking that they stop confronting her as a group. He will convince her to go to rehab. Jack and Ro decide in the meantime they will research into possible facilities that could take her immediately and will meet them at Carly's. Craig tells Carly she can leave but the Dr is worried about her. If she had not gotten to the hospital when she did, she could have died. Carly asks him to have faith in her and that they can work together to get her better. She can't go to rehab and be cut off from everyone she loves. Craig is moved by her, saying he loves her and wants what's best for her. Carly convinces him to not send her away but to take her away to someplace without telling anyone and to help her get through this. Next thing you know they're arriving at a cabin out of town. She loves the place. No house within 10 miles, reminds her of Montana. She tells Craig this is the most thoughtful thing he could have done. She's glad he's standing up for her when Jack and Ro wanted to send her away. Now being at this cabin just the two of them is like a honeymoon. He tells her he has learned how to love unconditionaly, unselfishly. Loving her has made him a better man. Over at the Lakeview Emily and Hunter join Susan and explain his family connection. Susan is stunned and wonders how this could be possible? Then Alli and Larry show and Alli introduces Larry to Hunter as his father. Both Hunter AND Susan are totally shocked. Emily explains that her eggs were stolen so Aurora Hunter could have a child. Susan realizes Larry had TWO mistresses while married to her, instead of just one and is livid saying stealing eggs is as low as you can go. Larry explains how he had to keep his word to Aurora and he was honored to contribute, blah, blah blah. Hunter is furious and declares he wants nothing to do with anyone and storms off, Alli running after him. She finds him at Old Town and admits how weird this all is but she encourages him to embrace his new family. He said he didn't want this "sister" relationship from her. She says she really didn't want another boyfriend but she could use a brother. She says while her mother and sister have their problems, when you're in trouble they are there for you and she will always be there for him. BAck at the Lakeview Susan, Larry and Emily are waiting and Susan snarls to Larry, Why are you still here? He says he wants to wait for Hunter so he can get a fresh start. Larry: "I know I have done many things wrong. All I can do is apologize. Don't I deserve something in return?" Then Susan smiles, and calmy says "Yes you do." Then she stands up, facing him puts a hand on each of his shoulders...and knees him HARD in the groin! Emily can't help but laugh, while Larry is doubled over in pain. In the afterglow of lovemaking, Carly says she's hungry and goes through the cubbard to see what they can make. She wants to make pasta and sauce but no pasta. She DOES find cooking wine but neglects to tell CRaig. He offers to go the closest store to get some pasta and she says she'll make the sauce while he's gone.(more like drink the sauce) Craig calls Janet to let her know Carly's fine and they went to a cabin so he can make sure she's not drinking. She will be away for a while to get better with his help. He wanted to let her know so she could tell Jack and Ro. Janet thinks Craig's idea is lousy and she angrily storms out. Janet goes to tell Jack and Ro in person and Jack is so angry at Craig he takes it out on Janet saying she should have forced out of Craig where they were. Ro said she always knew Craig was no good for Carly, always covering for her. Janet can see how worried Jack is for Carly and is so hurt by this she says for him to just go after her and not bother coming home. Ro tells him to go after Janet. Carly, meanwhile drinks the bottle of cooking wine, gingerly opening at first, smelling it while making a disgusted face then finally chugging down the whole thing! When Jack reaches Emma's Janet's busy pounding away angrily at dough. They discuss the Carly situation and how she's always coming between them. Janet' s worried that she will still be in their lives, even if she gets better, "I love you Jack but I didn't sign up for this. I can't live like this forever." He apologizes for getting mad at her when it's really Craig he's mad at. She understands that he's helping Carly and can't wash his hands because of their kids but their life cannot be only about Carly. Back at the Lakeview, Alli brings Hunter back and Larry is gone. Susan:" Oh, I kicked him out' Emily: "Emphasis on the kick!" Emily gleefully says let's not worry about Larry, taking things one step at a time. The good news is, Hunter is an official part of the family! At the cabin, Carly's finishing the bottle when she hears Craig arriving. When Craig comes in, Carly is nowhere in sight! He looks outside for her calling to her and she does not answer. Looking at the previews, don't think Carly's gone far cause we see her going out the cabin front door and Craig standing there asking if she's going somewhere. At this point, I'll be glad for Carly to get away just to be rid of Craig. It's sickening the way she manipulates him dishonestly while he is so into taking care of her (or so in love with her?) he doesn't realize that the best way to care for her is to let her go. It was a good show, though I think I liked the Hunter family reunion better because this 'Carly going to rehab' has been a long time coming and we're STILL not here yet!

Sorry but you won't be rid of Craig when Maura goes on maternity leave. There will be more of Craig, not less. I don't know what the story will be but the character of Craig and any stories he is involved in are here to stay. If Janet can't live this way, I have a great suggestion "MOVE OUT OF OAKDALE" and take Jack and Liberty with you. I, for one, will be glad to see all of you go. It is my opinion that if Jack and Carly were together during this time (with no impediments except the alcoholism), Jack would do the same as Craig. He would believe Carly over and over again (as he has done many times in the past about other things) and would go along with her because he loved her (as Craig does). Craig wants to believe and I even think Carly wants to believe (on some level) she can do this on her own. It's when she is confronted by temptation that she gives in. I think this situation is the end of Craig believing that Carly can do this on her own. I did enjoy Susan kneeing Larry. He certainly deserved it. Hunter should run (RUN FAST) away from the Stewart family. Wait until he finds out all that Emily (his mother) has done (prostitution, shooting Paul, mental institution, etc.) He was better off with his mother Aurora. RUN HUNTER RUN!!!!!!!!! |

Actually what I meant was that Carly would be rid of Craig by going away to rehab or just by running away. I would not be surprised for Craig to still be around. I don't really mind him, just don't like him anywhere near Carly.

The STEWART/HUNTER stuff is GREAT soapy drama. I keep wondering when the CARLY TRAIN WRECK will end. |

omg....I just got a gut feeling...CARLY leaves...CRAIG returns to OAKDALE....JANET and CRAIG stumble together...and that leaves JACK AND CARLY to work back towards each other. I even saw JACK hitting rock bottom and CARLY pulling him up out of his issues. Complete speculation...and I do not want any spoilers on this business. |

I know this show aired a couple days ago now, but I'm all mixed up on what I watched first or next or last....!! Just wanted to say that I LOVE Hunter, and I loved the "Stewart Family Reunion" at the Lakeview. I think this family dynamic has a lot of potential (probably more for comedy than anything else yet), but definite potential. |
