Any soap opera couple has got to have a THIRD WHEEL...and I wonder about this whole NUKE and MASON business. I think that is his name.... I am not very much bothered by this new twist...but the ONLY PROBLEM that I am not enjoying so far is how much of a PARALLEL exists between MASON's history and NUKE. I would have been much happier if there was more differences between the two couples. I am still "bored" with PAUL's amnesia. Talk about lifeless storyline....so far.... The rest of the players just seem like fluff. Previews show a CASEY being celebrated and seems to be solving issues with ALISON...and alot of the new STEWART family stuff. The show was not all that bad...but I am not about ready to call up my buddies to discuss NUKE+1....yet.... |

I actually like the Paul amnesia story because I was SO tired of his past antics, this is like a relief! I'm sure this "blank slate" Paul is exactly what James wanted so he can come back from the dead and mold him exactly the way he wants.  Its ironic that now without any memories, and hearing from Babs and Meg how horrible a person he was, he calmy says Meg and Barbara should just go away and not even try to help him remember them. I'm sure Holden would be thrilled that Paul is rejecting Meg and I think he is pleased that Dusty is staying away. Now if only he can get Damian out of the way.  I liked the way Holden called DAmian out on his plan to get closer to Meg. Yet DAmian is too clever for Holden to be able to stop him. As far as Mason is concerned, I like the character. I just wish he was not going to be involved so closely with Nuke in a romantic triangle. Its too predictable that Noah will get closer to Mason while working on his project. How about introducing a whole gay scene that Mason is a part of. Instead we see his partner George for 30 seconds and evidently he's now his ex? So Mason is available to break up Nuke? Maybe Noah's ambitions will be what helps to break Nuke apart and Mason feeds his ambition? If the point is that George having money and not working is like Luke while Mason making his films is like Noah then this could be a wake up call for Nuke.
