I gotta say, I am rather enjoying this "new" version of Paul. I figure they did this microchip thing in order to redeem Paul in everyone's eyes since the nutty Paul was going nowhere fast. That being said, I like him. It's kind of like having a newbie that I don't have to adjust to. Not sure how long it'll last, if it'll last or what direction it'll go in, but for now I'm happy with it. Maybe, just maybe, this will be one less man in Meg's manosphere....

Ali, part of me liked the nuPaul, too, but I think mainly cause I enjoyed the reaction and interaction between nuPaul and the other characters. On the other hand, I could see RH already starting to go too far with the goofiness of the character, as I think he has a tendency to do anyway...

Yeah, I must say, I noticed that too. Hopefully he can rein that in and try to keep this as believable as possible. |

I liked nu-Paul, too, but I could see the goofiness that you guys are talking about. I actually didn't mind the scenes with him and Emily and that's saying a lot for me, since I usually can't stand either character. I just hope that the memory loss is real and not him faking it to get back with Meg. I know the microchip thing is real, but I could see him taking advantage of the situation to get back in everyone's good graces.

I don't like nuPaul or oldPaul or any Paul at this point. Paul's story is the most boring on the show to me along with his continuous, repetitive stories with Meg and now again with Emily. James should come back and take Paul away with him for good. And to think, I loved the character of Paul back in the day. |

I'm liking the nuPaul, too; and the scenes with Emily were especially good. I hope he's not faking since I didn't like the other Paul at all. |

I enjoyed nuPaul the first day but it's already gotten old. And I agree RH is going over the top in goofiness and that I'm not enjoying. I find it very odd that he is more interested in finding out who he took to bed than anything else about himself. He's coming across as a dirty old man. The more I see if this Paul, the more I'm convinced that he is faking his memory loss so he can have a new start, particularly with Meg. If that is the case, then what he is doing to Barbara is unforgivable and the fact that he would push aside his own daughter for this stunt is disgusting. Hopefully he's not faking but the way RH is playing it makes me think he is. |

I think Howarth throws in the goofball reactions whether a scene calls for it or not. I don't think they can make me like his version of the character at this point. But if he gets back together with Meg, I know 100% for sure I won't like it. |

I keep thinking that James wanted Paul to become this "nuPaul" so his mind is a blank slate that he could manipulate. I'm sure if James comes back and finds him sleeping with Emily, he would run her out of town! Wonder if Em will have to go out of town for a job or if she will end up working under Hunter at the Intruder? Now that she was fired and Hunter quit, maybe they would put together their own on line publication? From the previews, I'd say Em's in a good "position" now to borrow money from Paul !
