Marc Cherry's next project will be
Cheerleader Death Squad.
The
Desperate Housewives creator is teaming up with
Under the Dome showrunner Neal Baer for the thriller
, described as "
Heathers meets
Alias."
Cheerleader Death Squad will follow a disgraced CIA agent turned teacher, who selects certain students at his elite high school and turns them into spies.
The script is being written by Cherry, Baer and Dan Truly (
Blue Bloods), and they will all executive produce the series alongside Sabrina Wind (
Devious Maids).
Cherry's
Devious Maids was
picked up for a third season on Lifetime last month.
