"That happened to me once when I had a scene with Britt and she was mean to me," answered Silzer. "But after that, I got the hang of it. I think of sad things, like if anything were to happen to my sister, and when I do that, I really start crying. I'm sensitive to that, like one time I thought about like what if my sister got lost? I thought of, 'How would I be with my mommy, if my sister got lost and I never saw her again?' That's what I do when I'm not that sad in real life."
Guy Wilson responded, "I think the trick is less is more. If you're present in the moment, and keep your eyes nice and wide open, people can see in. Generally, people will feel that pain for you if you can't necessarily show it. Be still and let the audience do the work for you."
Perhaps Silzer could offer Wilson some advice. Will's lack of distinguishable emotions has distracted from the love triangle storyline Wilson is currently playing. Will had sex with Paul Narita (Christopher Sean), who turned out to be the ex of Will's husband, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith). Many times we blame soap opera writers for not giving the actors better material, but that isn't what is happening here. The audience needs more from the character of Will.
