While it's not his fault for what has happened, I doubt he's going to have a warm reception from the fans. We had a great Craig a year ago. Scott Bryce should still be in the role!

Hopefully it's just to tie up the loose Johnny ends. If they're not going to get Hunt or Scott back, I'd just as soon kill off the character of Craig rather than have endless replacements.

I also have NO CLUE what kind of Craig TPTB (CG in particular) actually want. Do they know? Probably not. Do they give a rat's a** about what the viewers (new or longtime) want? Clearly not. Do they care a whit about the character's and the show's history? Definitely not. How many evolutions of Craig, under CG's 'watchful' eye, does the show have to recycle through to find one that fits? Unless CG actually knows what he's looking for, he needs to leave the character alone. Craig has enough history/ties/potential that he should be handled well. Every actor who has taken on the role has done a great job, IMO, of trying to balance the character/history/expectations/personal take on on the role. Any of the previous actors should have been given the role while CG takes a hike. The problem has remained the same - Chris Goutman. NOT the actors playing Craig. This is in no way a criticism of the new actor to play Craig. My frustration is NOT with him, rather at CG and the other "brainiacs" who've butchered Craig/Actor-of-the-Month in the past few years. Good Luck to Jon Lindstrom. He's going to need it and a whole lot more.

Having only seen Jon briefly as Kevin on GH/PC, I like the guy, but can't picture him as Craig. I don't know why they didn't try to bring Hunt or Scott back. I'm sure Jon doesn't come cheap and it seems both Hunt and Scott are out of work at the moment. I guess once they severed ties with them, they just like to move on to the next one. Weird. 4 Craig's in like 8 years.

One thing I found interesting was trying to bring theater to television. And while he may not be an actor on any regular show, I don't know that I would say he's out of work as he sounded very busy. He also kind of laughed at the question of could he ever see himself returning and said not without an ownership change. As far as Hunt, something happened that seemed to make the parting less than amicable on both sides. I can't imagine he would return if asked either. I don't know that the show had the option of bringing back either Scott or Hunt, but I certainly would have waited longer to recast if they couldn't get them.

I looked at the clip though of the newbie and heck, I don't know except IMO he can't be worse than the last Craig. JMHO remember. I just hope they don't go with him & Carly. Maybe I will change my mind?
