As you know, HB was mycraigy, and everybody who followed him in the role had to work for my approval.  I'll give this guy a chance, but I won't forget HB's Craig...  Craig and Carly.... I guess it will depend on the newCraig. I do want Jack and Carly back eventually, but not too soon, so maybe a C&C temp matchup would be okay... time will tell, I guess....

Gigantic  to the idea of Carly and Craig no matter who Craig is. It would make zero sense with history. Since they were involved, when Carly still loved Jack the whole time, Craig fell in love with and married Carly's sister. Then he ran her off the road and put her in a coma. To have Carly involved with the man that put her sister in a coma would be ridiculous.And it is time Carly and Jack get back together slowly and they don't need any more 3rd parties involved. It's already been over two and a half years and that's long enough. Besides, if they tease a lead up to a reunion like they are doing now and then don't make it happen, I can guarantee that is enough for many CarJackers and they will be done with ATWT for good. The writers shouldn't be teasing this if they aren't going there. There are a lot of options for who Craig can be paired with so they don't need to pair him with Carly. I really thik it will be too tempting for them to not pair Julie with Jon again. And then we know Craig loved Meg when he left so I suspect we will revisit that. |

I wasn't an ardent fan of ATWT when SB had the role of Craig. However, I did enjoy HB's Craig very much. My only problem was the oversaturation of him with HS was HW. He became a little bit tiresome by the time he left. With that being said I would have preferred HB's return to this choice. |

I quite like Jon Lindstrom. I am not thrilled with the concept of another recast Craig, but if they are going to insist on going there, he's a good pick. I liked both Bryce and Block in their own ways. I thought Bryce did a really great job this last time; I didn't love the character or him when he originated the role. But I loved him in the Meg/Craig story. I think Marie Wilson and Jon Lindstrom have worked together in the past as well, so they may well go there again at least for a while. I like the idea of eventually letting Janet find her way to Craig. I wouldn't mind seeing Janet become a bit of a darker character; maybe they could have the two of 'em working together to keep Carly and Jack apart. I agree though that a Carly/Craig redux makes no sense at this point, so it can't be due to Craig wanting Carly that he helps Janet. It would make more sense if he did it just to be a jerk to Carly cuz he's mad at her for something, maybe Ro related. |

I put zero faith in Nelson as a source, but I do find it believable that if in fact Hunt was asked back his demands would be too high and why not after the history with Craigs. I also notice he says Jon is a friend of Barbaa Bloom. Hopefully Goutman is on board with this or he could be out in less than a year too. |

I could well imagine HB asking for a figure that was out of the ballpark, knowing they'd turn it down, just for the fun of it. This craig stuff is more interesting than ATWT...

Jon Lindstrom is a very good actor. I actually really like him. He started on GH and then moved to Port Charles, playing the character of the gentle caring Dr. Kevin Collins and his evil twin brother Ryan. After Ryan's death, Kevin started becoming a duel personality of Kevin/Ryan, which was his undoing. So he can be both good and bad. So, I can believe he's a friend of Barbara Bloom and yes, he has worked with both Marie Wilson and Julie Pinson (both were on Port Charles). I'll be interested to see how he does on ATWT. Depending on how they write for him, I think he might do very well. |

Crap, it depresses me to know that Hunt was offered the role & didn't take it. Of course I totally understand his reasons, don't blame him at all. This dude better change my mind about another Craig or I will never like the character again.

I'm curious to see how Jon Lindstom is going to work as Craig. But aftter the complete and utter debacle that was Craig's last tenure on the show I'm trying not get too excited. The writers oughtta be flogged for what they did to Craig and Rosana last year.

They had Craig.... Scott Bryce was doing an amazing job as Craig, and they screwed him over. (While SB will always be the Craig to me, I did think HB did a good job and would have accepted him as well.) Why even bring Craig back on to the screen? How many more actors are going to be fired when TIIC don't feel that Craig is cutting it?

Oh him, I didn't reconize the name of the actor now playing Craig(Scott Bryce is the only Craig for me) but I have seen this actor before, he is a good actor but he's not going to replace my Scott. |

I mean, I understand that he is a good actor, but I'm going to miss Scott Bryce regardless. I started watching with Hunt was Craig, and he was pretty good. But I really became a fan of the character when Scott came on to portray Craig. He brought life to a character that was being written as a "one-note" villain, and with his performance, gave a great delivery of a gray character on the show. I was really upset to here how the producer fired him on Christmas too- if that's true, very tacky of Goutman!  I'll still give this new guy a chance. I always do. I thought they had no story for Craig though, but apparently now they do with Dusty back, and psycho Paul running around. I wonder if Craig will still be obsessed with Meg, or return to a previous "semi" obsession like Carly? I have a feeling that once Paul stops hallucinating about his father, is when Craig will pop up. They seem to bring on a new villain after the previous leaves. Does anyone know what characters Craig will be involved with, besides the obvious Lucinda, Dusty, Meg, and Paul [I am assuming]? |
