But there's reference to Carly crashing the bachelor party and Jack having to take her home and 'what happened last night'. Whatever happens it will be more destruction of Carly and painting her as evil and making Jack look like a real tool just to pimp Janet as the saint. I think this story will drag on for awhile. There is a rumor they are going to pair Carly with Craig I have no problem with Carly and Craig being in a story together but there is no freaking way that Carly would become romantically involved with the man that put Rosanna in a coma, hurt Gwen with the baby switch and came into Carly's home and tried to kidnap the baby and threatened to harm Carly. That's just not believable and more character destruction. I'm sick of the popularity of Jack and Carly being used to bring the newbies onto the canvas. So if they go with the Carly/Craig pairing, I think I'm done with the show.

If it they throw Carly & Craig together, I'm done too. I didn't watch the show during the height of KACK on until probably late August or September of this year. And what on earth is with her and Lisa? Today was Round #186 of Lisa being awful to Carly for ???? reason.. Carly and Craig will definitely turn me off the show again.

It began with NB replacing MB and the disaster of having Carly sleep with Holden, JP coming on & needing to paired with the one guy that would cause a large fan reaction (which it did) and now comes the return of Craig who will undoubtedly be linked to Carly. I'm getting exhausted with this dance....The show's ratings are in the toilet & this is the crap that we're getting. No matter how great MP & MW are you can only go so often to the well before the water runs dry. At this point I DVR ATWT & I FF through most of it anyway. What end game for J&C? There is none..........

Posts: 170 Group: Members Member #249 Joined: October 8, 2008	The writers are insane if they think any romantic pairing between Craig and Carly will be bought by the fans and viewers. As you listed Judy, there are copious amounts of dirty history between the two- and I will never buy Carly being able to look at Craig with any feeling beyond disgust and revulsion for the man who disabled her sister.

They're too painful to watch together when Jack is drinking the "I'm SO in love with not-Carly" Kool-aid. So even if it is Craig shudders, I'll take it. Posts: 170 Group: Members Member #249 Joined: October 8, 2008	I would love for Jack to be in Carly's place, having sex with his ex-wife before his wedding night and getting her pregnant, the night before his wedding to Janet. It would be a great nod of history and irony, compared to Carly who slept with her ex-lover Mike, before she married Jack. Then Jack would be in the hot seat, find out he has gotten Carly pregnant, annul his marriage with Janet- and FINALLY go be with the mother of his children. I would rather Carly flirt with someone unattached- to make Jack jealous. Currently there's no one on the canvas to do that though. It would be hilarious to watch Carly convince someone to help her make Jack jealous (it being pretend, and not real) in order to make Jack leave Janet and be with her. I think Parker, JJ, and Sage could use another sibling anyway.

Please let Jack and Carly get back to something resembling their characters and figure out that they ought to be together for a lot of reasons, but not make a new baby the main one.

I always could see the love they tried portraying for their characters even if it wasn't in the script. I see it from Maura. I know that Carly is doing all of this because she still loves Jack. She might now admit it but we all know that Carly is being desperate because she still loves Jack. Her words to Holden yesterday were perfect, "He's taking all of our memories and giving them to Janet." I always knew with the Julias, Katie, etc, that they would find their way back to each other. But here was Jack waxing poetic about how wonderful Janet is, how anti-Carly Janet is...its one thing to love another person but to constantly reiterate that she's perfect for him because she isn't like Carly is another thing. Its not coming from a place of anger or a place of frustration, it seems to be coming from his soul and that's what kills me.

Though he went through the same motions with Katie and the Julias, I never got the sense that it spelled the end for Carjack. This time it feels different. The writers have done a really good job of making it feel like it's too late for them. :( And... to think, this is the same Jack who wanted to reconcile with Carly weeks ago.

And what's Janet thinking?! As far as I'm concerned, she deserves whatever she gets when (not if) her marriage fails because Jack is still in love with Carly, and Janet knows this but is in denial. Could Jack sleep with Carly, hoping drunk Carly will forget it?

What gets me is that I don't dislike the character of Janet, I just want her far away from Jack and Carly. I won't use "Carjack" until this fiasco is over! I understand that supercouples need conflict to stay alive and passionate, although I think they have that in spades. But you can only poke holes in something for so long before it crumbles under the pressure. The writers are ruining the intergrity of the characters and their history every time they think a quick-moving story that doesn't make any sense is the way to go. Shows are dying and losing viewers in spades because the fans don't recognize the characters anymore and they're losing the emotional attachment to them. That's why viewers are leaving. Did anyone see the article a few weeks ago about William Peterson leaving CSI? Someone did a poll of fans to see if they would continue watching the show when Peterson and his character of Gil Grissom leaves the show. I think it was almost 60% of those polled who said that they would leave with him. Why? Because fans are emotionally connected to the character. If it can happen to the #1 show on TV why don't soap execs realize the same thing. I'm sure that the CSI execs are going to go all crazy and change up the entire format and balance of the show and come back with something totally unrecognizable the following week. So why do soaps? Its true that weekly serials have the luxury of only having to produce 22 shows plus a season while soaps are daily. Well, I'd rather watch three great episodes a week instead of five of this crap. Soap fans want to live vicariously through their stories. I want to see a hero woo-ing his star-crossed love with romance and passion. I want to see the bad boy that you just can't help but love no matter how bad you know that he is for you. I want to see the dastardly villian that you just can't help but love no matter how evil he is. What I don't want to see if the same character be all three of these descriptions in the span of a week or month because the writers have no clue what to do with them or are scraping the bottom of the barrell looking for something to save their show. Wake up people! You're the reason that the show is failing.
