As much as I enjoy the banter between Carly and Craig - always have, no matter who was playing Craig - I am still very disgusted, disbelieving and very angry that anything romantic could even be considered between them. I'd rather they PRETEND it to get the rise out of the rest of Oakdale (who thinks they both are awful people anyway...) but NOT act on it or be sincere in any efforts of real affection. Carly should HATE his guts for eternity! :gaah :cuss :mad

I'm with you on that. I may be the only one that did not enjoy Craig & Carly today. I think the writers made Carly look like a pathetic loser that has to lean on other people to get what she wants. I hate how she keeps going to "perfect" Lily and she slaps her down. What a %itch!

Once again Carly is going to come out of this whole mess looking pathetic and disgraced in town and everyone else will be great. I see by the previews that Jack is back to his judgmental self next week. :gaah :gaah

Casey just turning 21 is ridiculous! He worked as a bartender not long ago and he went to went to adult prison(tried as an adult, for the offense of burglary?) not juvenile detention. However, Casey does need to grow up and I think Margo and Tom need to encourage him to get his own place so he can do as he pleases and not involve them.

That, and the fact that other characters who aren't 21 are doing shots. :)

perfidious machiavellian termagant

I had to rewind that several times and turn on captioning! HA!! Perfect!! :lol
I did that too and I was surprised the writers even tried to look up those words! I guess the point is that Craig is a higher life form than Carly because he can use such words, :devil I hate that he's acting so superior and calling her a shrew, though being machiavellian has been considered praiseworthy for some powerful leaders. :wink While I was rooting for her during the first half of the show, the final result was inevitable. It was a mistake to go to Lily in the first place because of their history plus she gave Lily a copy of her design which Craig saw when he ran into her. Again tptb had to create a beginning, middle and end in the same show which I think is why they had Carly contact Lily. Bringing Dusty into it would have been interesting and unpredictable but with these stand alone shows with no cliffhangers all we get is inevitable conclusions. (And Dusty is too busy on the Paul/Meg/Josie island. ) The only good thing about the ending is now Carly and Craig know where they stand and neither trusts the other. :sleeping While Carly and Craig's banter is always fun, Carly's failure in a single show just keeps her going down the drain with her life instead of moving in a positive direction. :cuss

I agree with the idea that Paul has to either stop acting insane or be locked up. Maybe tptb are just biding their time with Paul until Roger Howarth's contract is up. :brickwall But back to back crazy antics is not the answer. What is so wrong with exploring mental health recovery? We've seen on the show before therapy for many issues including drug addiction and alcolholism. But besides Allison no one else who really needs help is getting it. Instead its just a lot of crazy over and over. Dr. Michaels may exist but Courtney Simon would rather just be a writer I guess than play the role.? Maybe Janet should just go to each of the characters, slap them on the face and yell, "Snap out of it!" :lol
