Its quite frustrating the way tptb seem to relish destroying characters, turning them dumb, insane, criminal or just plain annoying. Its not just Carly who gets ruined. But when MW goes on maternity leave it gives them an excuse to really let Carly have it!  More opportunity to turn things on their axis. And they probably think such changes are good for the show.  The way things are going for Casey they're gonna have to build a new prison set for him, Luke and Jade.
