 Carly does have to learn to stand on her own feet and get stronger. But somebody has to get her to realize she needs professional help. Clearly that isn't going to be Craig. If it takes Jack to get through to her then he needs to do that. He's the only one that's even gotten her to say she would go to AA even though she ended up not going although Jack thought at the time she was. Once she's in a program she has to rely on herself to get well but somebody has to get her to admit she needs professional help. I don't think it's even about Carly leaning on Jack at this point but rather he may be the only one who knows how to get through to her to get her to admit her problem. Right now Carly is leaning on booze and not on Jack. I think part of Carly's problem right now is she knows she can't lean on Jack but hasn't figured out how to be strong on her own.

Having not read spoilers about the episode, I was quite relieved that tptb didn't have Carly sleep with Holden. I was afraid that might happen cause I heard rumors that they were pairing DAmian with Lily and this would have been a way to make that happen. :smack
